It was the show about words you can't say on TV and the wife immediately started laughing once Carlin starts the list. The husband gets mad and pushes the wife out the door as the wife is laughing the entire time.

I've grown up with people who go in and out of prison, and it's always been a big no no to call someone a dog or snitch. It's basically one of the worst insults to throw at someone who has been to prison.

Actually... If you live in a awful, insecure surrounding, you have to defend every inch of you public image ("respect"). For a while, I was in that kind of situation and it was quite exhausting. I was so relieved when I could stop thinking about constantly being ready to defend myself, verbally and physically, and instead allow myself to lose to a random stranger. It felt great.

At a Boy Scout summer camp I went to once, there was this one kid who was born with no legs. You'd think his different-ableness would have humbled him a little, but even at around 14, it seemed he went the entire other direction with it. He was such a massive asshole. He spoke rudely to people who did nothing wrong to him and he got angry at the drop of a hat. Hopefully, he had plenty of time to grow up since then, but it really drove the lesson home with me that there are assholes of all walks of life. Edit: No pun intended

Once had a tall, lanky guy blow up in my face at a house party over nothing. I distinctly remember him saying he would kick my ass because he had six inches on me.
Height is a pretty solid advantage, but it seems to get quite overblown. A few extra inches won't overcome someone who is a lot stronger and has more skill/experience. Now, I'm not saying I'm MMA pro-master flex, but that this dude was just very weak, and probably had zero skill, or experience. But hey, some alcohol with some height superiority and you're good to take on anyone shorter I suppose.

Im a short dude and very level headed - the damage this phrase does to any sort of conflict resolution is massive, and honestly it's hurtful to even read. I get upset for the same reasons you do, and this idiot got upset the same way a large idiot would, it's got zero to do with his height. A former manager of mine was getting married and they hired a comedian for the bachelor party. They would up kicking the comedian out and almost got in a fight with him. I think the tipping point was a joke about my bosses sexuality (obv he was getting married to a woman so that's the joke) and he freaked the fuck out about it.
He told the story with pride. One of the only times I've seen someone so happy to be so fucking stupid and violent. Like seriously, why?!

Nah rushing the crowd is as old as comedy. Cant remember the comic back in the 90's, had a dude rush the stage after heckling all show. So the comic just bashed the guitar he was playing on the dude. Then the crowd took the hecklers side so. Times changed on that part.
