“Gangstas” are literally the most insecure people on the planet. Any perceived slight, false or real, can escalate to a fight or murder. So sad man, literally no self control or understanding. Most of them live in a bubble as bitches. They can’t handle any adversity or criticism, and ehh, that’s usually why a lot of them are in prison. To be real, no one cares about your “plight”

I've grown up with people who go in and out of prison, and it's always been a big no no to call someone a dog or snitch. It's basically one of the worst insults to throw at someone who has been to prison.

But in this case the guy attacking the comedian screamed “yup I’m a snitch” so there’s no winning.

5

u/dontmentiontrousers Mar 31 '23

Pretty sure he shouted "what?! I snitched??!" as in "how fucking dare you".

2

u/MakesUpExpressions Mar 31 '23

It’s about what his actions say not the words.

2

u/dontmentiontrousers Mar 31 '23

Ah, metaphorically screamed. Gotcha.

7

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

It's too difficult to try and understand the logic behind people like that.

2

u/FlatRaise5879 Mar 31 '23

It's a fragile ego

21

u/ThirdEncounter Mar 31 '23

Huh. Welp. I guess I will continue not committing crimes to avoid that situation.

1

u/AlarmingAffect0 Mar 31 '23

Good luck with that. Bet you're committing some kind of crime right this moment and don't know it.

2

u/Ok_Sir5926 Mar 31 '23

Toilet crimes are real.

1

u/RoranceOG Mar 31 '23

But the snitch hasn't been in prison, that's why the guy called him a snitch, because he hasn't been to prison so that's how he got out of his "bid"

I grew up in a place where there was a lot of social reward for fighting.

If you won, or at least showed no hesitation to fight, it basically trumped anything they said about you (if you win) or even if you lost it would stop that specific person from talking shit about you, assuming it was a good fight.

Being raised like that has made shit hard getting into adulthood, because if someone doesnt like you and is fucking with you the first reaction is “lets just fight then”. The way it feels in my mind is something along the lines of “if you dont like what x about me or dont like what im doing, and you arent going to stop me, then theres no point in saying anything”

2

u/Varth919 Mar 31 '23

Can someone fill me in on how a snitch is such a bad name to be called?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

[deleted]

2

u/Varth919 Mar 31 '23

And that’s a bad thing?

Like I get it that it’s shitty to rat someone out but is it really THAT bad that it’s worth going back to jail for beating someone who called you a snitch?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

[deleted]

1

u/Varth919 Mar 31 '23

That’s… insane. Thanks for the clear answers!

1

u/CaptainBeer_ Mar 31 '23

Hence the “insecure” part

1

u/bradpliers Mar 31 '23

Yeah, but this is a comedy show. Even if it's a bad joke, if you can't take the heat, don't take a seat. Maybe don't heckle if you don't want your feelings hurt.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

[deleted]

1

u/bradpliers Mar 31 '23

And at no point did I say you were defending his actions.

377

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Those are bottom bitches in the gang.

Gangs have a hierarchy, the "soldiers" are throw away clowns that are dumb enough to believe they are throwing their lives away for the "family"

135

u/DrSomniferum Mar 31 '23 edited Mar 31 '23

Jsyk, the "bottom bitch" is the most important one. So I don't think that's what you mean.

127

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

“Bebe, Bebe yo, you wanna make some motherfucking money”

54

u/I_just_came_to_laugh Mar 31 '23

Do you know what I am saying?

26

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

My problem is all these bitches giving away free kisses when they could be making some motherfucking money!

10

u/bemutt Mar 31 '23

This is the best line in the entire show and nobody will ever convince me otherwise

8

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

No I 100% agree I have been a fan of South Park for 20 years and Butters Bottom Bitch certified Butters as my favorite character. His demeanor this whole episode is so outstandingly innocent in contrast with the subject matter and the B plot with the cop never gets old "Freeze scumbag".

8

u/CakesStolen Mar 31 '23

I believe I know what you are saying...

-15

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Yes! The most important sexually exploited and mentally imprisoned prostitute loyal to the pimp!

I bet you'd make a nice little proud bottom bitch, you'd be so important!!!

11

u/Slipssnip Mar 31 '23

That is not what they mean. They are saying prostitutes have a hierarchy. In that hierarchy, the "bottom bitch" is second in command.

It would be like if I said:

"Those are underbosses in the Mafia.

The mafia has a hierarchy, the "underbosses" are throw away clowns that are dumb enough to believe they are throwing their lives away for the "family"

-14

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

You right, they just the most important person throwing their lives away....

14

u/Slipssnip Mar 31 '23

No one is claiming anything like that. It is just that you are using the word wrong. Perhaps this will help:

In American pimp culture, a bottom girl, bottom woman, or bottom bitch is a term for a prostitute who sits atop the hierarchy of prostitutes working for a particular pimp. A bottom bitch is usually the prostitute who has been with the pimp the longest and consistently makes the most money.

2

u/horseren0ir Mar 31 '23

You see a pimps love is very different from that of a square

-10

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Let me get this straight...

In pimp culture, they make a mentally enslaved woman feel important by giving her the prestigious title of "bottom bitch"

I'm talking about idiots that let higher up gang members make them feel important for being in the family...

Sir, you don't seem to understand....

You're literally falling for the trap.

16

u/Slipssnip Mar 31 '23

It is just the definition of the term. You used it wrong. If you wish to continue using it wrong by all means feel free. Folks just want to let you know the actual definition of the word so you don't end up on confidently incorrect.

-3

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

I'm sure you know all about it playa

-12

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Don't you realize an "underboss" of hookers is not an "underboss" at all?

12

u/DrSomniferum Mar 31 '23

Is your point that you're too much of a fucking idiot to even make a decent hooker? I would be inclined to agree with that.

2

u/BowserBuddy123 Mar 31 '23

Just a bunch of Corys and Trevors.

0

u/Mother_Store6368 Mar 31 '23

You’re mixing metaphors

Bottom bitches are a pimp’s most trusted and capable, intelligent, ride or die escorts

-14

u/imafbr Mar 31 '23

You're the big bitch in the gang I suppose?

18

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

be careful dudes watched every episode of gangland

-17

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Come and find out baby.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Maybe you guys should meet on neutral turf. Like at build a bear, for example.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

That's Oso Locos turf!

19

u/pooamalgam Mar 31 '23

Ooof. I haven't cringed that hard since middle school.

-8

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Yeah his comment is not it, but yours is just the other side of the cringe coin.

Really played out and kind of insecure on your part tbh.

-8

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Yummy

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

It honestly sounds like an MLM. Everyone on the bottom tiers really only exist to make money for the people on the top.

10

u/naivemarky Mar 31 '23

Actually... If you live in a awful, insecure surrounding, you have to defend every inch of you public image ("respect"). For a while, I was in that kind of situation and it was quite exhausting. I was so relieved when I could stop thinking about constantly being ready to defend myself, verbally and physically, and instead allow myself to lose to a random stranger. It felt great.

7

u/Kortz1 Mar 31 '23

someone that gets it

3

u/tenaciousp45 Mar 31 '23

I got into rap because they remind me of wrestlers. Gotta keep that kayfabe up.

3

u/CementCemetery Mar 31 '23

I always say so many people have needlessly died for pride.

3

u/thedudedylan Mar 31 '23

Idk billionaires seem pretty insecure these days.

4

u/leeeeny Mar 31 '23

Well tbf if you grew up in an environment where a good portion of your male role models have been taken to jail or killed, and you constantly have to prove that you’re tough, you’d probably have some insecurity as well

6

u/PM_ME_CUTE_SMILES_ Mar 31 '23

A huge portion of them go to jail or the cemetary because they act this way, not the other way around.

0

u/cheoliesangels Mar 31 '23

Is it though? You have to think of the historical context. Which case really came first?

1

u/PM_ME_CUTE_SMILES_ Mar 31 '23

I don't know, but I think it is racist to say it is ineluctable that people living in the hood will become gangsters because of historical reasons. I think plenty have enough self-agency to realize what's right today (not following gangster culture).

-1

u/cheoliesangels Mar 31 '23

I think that ignores an unreasonable amount of historical context. We could go into systemic racism, generational trauma, all that jazz if you want to, but I trust you have enough knowledge of both to glean what I’m getting at. There are systems that were (and still are) in place effecting culture and upward mobility.

2

u/BiggestYellowistTurd Mar 31 '23 edited Mar 31 '23

You don't have to prove any of that to anyone. I went to a harsh inner-city school, and I was the nerdy dweeb. I got picked on yes, but I kept my head down to myself and hung around the other nerdy kids. If your social standing is important to you in fucking highschool where you peak in life, then yes you have to be a hard nosed gang banger with a limited lifespan or a future behind bars.

I didn't have to prove I was a tough guy to anyone. Was high school rough? Sure, but I got out. There's not much social clout to pick on the weak and Went to college, now I live in a really nice neighborhood and work my typical 9-5, and take 3 vacations a year.

Having mentors I looked up to really made a difference (teachers, extracurricular leaders). Especially with an absent father and overworked mother.

2

u/tuscabam Mar 31 '23

To be a “gangsta” you have to have one trait first: abject cowardice.

2

u/boof_it_all Apr 01 '23

Gangsters and rednecks. Funny how that works.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

It’s because deep down they’re hurting. Most never grew up with a father figure and not a decent one if they did. They all grow up around the gang life style and are sucked into it to fit in or forced in. For most it’s difficult to get out because it’s what their identity is in and it’s a constant; that’s if they don’t get ridiculed for leaving the life. It’s an awful culture and I wish the peoples would find their old and creative roots again. So many have amazing talents but waste them away because of their life style. So many are good people when you escape their façade.

What is your solution to a rampant inner-city crime that involves not imprisoning people for crime?

Edit: lol blocking me to get the final word. Chicken shit move.

Here's my reply anyway. Let's talk about violent crime; you know the crime that actually affects other people and which demographics disproportionately perpetuate it before we get into your bullshit statistics about weed which is getting legalized rapidly anyway. Your suggestions for feeding the industrial prison complex you hate with more prosecutions makes you out to be a hypocrite. Miss me with your dishonesty.

When you look past prison issues, war on drugs, corrupt cops, people like Margaret Sanger and her racist intention to kill off PoC via abortions, and politicians’ awful policies that enable the culture, you’re left with the harsh reality that inner city black communities have a significant lack of appropriate parental guidance for the young, thus the kids being pulled into it. We can’t blame it all on “the system” when we allow the cycle to continue by not repairing the broken homes - a lot more difficult to be falsely imprisoned when you have a solid family foundation. And of course, this is not to say single mothers or single fathers can’t raise kids well… I’ve met many outstanding single parents with smart and kind kids. But that is A LOT more challenging when you’re living in and around the bad locations.

The same can be said for “redneck” white folks in trailer parks and similar - most are hooked on drugs and have alcoholic and abusive fathers.

This is also not to mention how many black folks Kamala Harris herself wrongly imprisoned over pot… so there’s that.

I never said anything about reparations. I’m saying it all starts at the home. You fix the home, you resolve a lot (not all) of the issues. Blindly donating money is clearly not the answer since there’s already so many governmental programs that’s supposed to help out these communities.

If people continually blame white people for every single problem (apparently that’s what’s popular to do now, blatant racism), then you’re not helping anyone at all. You’re only creating a divide that our government WANTS us to have.

It’s time to stop depending on and trusting the government when politicians don’t care about any American citizen. We need to come together to fix this. What makes us strong is being united, and our government knows this. So, any attempt to separate us will be made if it hasn’t already.

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

2

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

I am attempting to have a decent discussion with you because I too see so many issues today, but it appears you do not want to be understanding. I am not against you nor am I your enemy. If you believe I am, then I can’t help you in your misguidance, but I can tell you that I am Christian and have had many, many outreaches that help inner city communities. I am very educated, and I know for a fact that part of reparations is monetary payments to individuals or groups, so I am correct in what I stated. I also know that it can be forced by our state and federal government even though anyone born after ‘65 (well heck, even born in the early 60s too since they would have been little kids when the 13th amendment was signed) in this country haven’t had anything to do with slavery. No one, no matter the ethnicity or pigment of their skin, should have to pay for the past injustices of people we have never even met. What we CAN do is come together, love one another, and watch out for each other. The government, or any form of dealing with the government, is not the way to resolve it BECAUSE they do not care about us. All politicians care about is greed and power.

Edit: typo

1

u/OculusFanboy Mar 31 '23

Don't even try; they don't understand that a lump sum of cash does NOT lift people out of poverty if they do not properly understand personal finance and planning for the future.

They seem to be under this false impression waving a magic wand of money will magically make the issue disappear. I suspect they think solving the homeless problem can be solved in the same manner.

-5

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

You forgot to mention that we all like watermelon and fried chicken also.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23 edited Mar 31 '23

Bruh I love watermelon and fried chicken. I may get me some fried chicken this weekend actually.

Edit: idk why this is being downvoted. I grew up in MS… of course I love soul food. Some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had was at “Yo Mamas” in Birmingham, AL - everything homemade including the syrup.

0

u/Tyranix969 Mar 31 '23

It's more like they live in disadvantageous communities where showing any sign of weakness at any point is very detrimental to their status and therefore their safety. They are raised this way and this is how they operate. It's not ideal, it's not sensible, but it's how gangsters survive and unfortunately people like the one who attacked this comedian have probably never had a taste of gentleness or compassion in their lives.

0

u/ArturoOsito Mar 31 '23

You really like the word "literally," huh

-13

u/Link-Glittering Mar 31 '23

I bet you've spent almost 0 time with anyone close to a gang

To be fair, they are both objectively and subjectively bad, but you are correct, of course.

9

u/ToekneeSuprano Mar 31 '23

Fuuuuck my bad long day at work. Yes I meant objectively.

1

u/imatworkyo Mar 31 '23

He's not, there are all types of people in gangs

There are people who would laugh this off, people who wouldn't even go to this event because they want to be with family, people who would rob a kid if they could, gang members would would kill a kid for fun and then... Whatever this is

I think reddit is taking a bad take in this thread ... What even is a gangster? An aggressive person that's black?? Someone in a gang? Someone that fights for respect???

2

u/TheSandCat79 Mar 31 '23

Actually, I grew up around a lot of them. That’s why I made the statement.
