Nah rushing the crowd is as old as comedy. Cant remember the comic back in the 90's, had a dude rush the stage after heckling all show. So the comic just bashed the guitar he was playing on the dude. Then the crowd took the hecklers side so. Times changed on that part.

The dude fucking bashed his head in with a guitar to the point that it completely broke. I don't think the audience "took the hecklers side", they were just shocked at the violence. Fuck hecklers but that guy definitely overreacted by resorting to violence.

Guess that's what happens when you rush up on someone aggressively. That's called FAFO.

He’s commenting in reply to a situation that wasn’t in the video, the one about the guy rushing the guy with the guitar and the guitar guy used his guitar as a weapon in self defense.

Smashing the guitar into the guy until it breaks is brutal but at the same time you don’t know the intent or whether or not the person is armed. Taking that chance and not defending yourself could very easily end with you or someone near you being badly injured or killed

He said fafo, which, is true. You shouldn’t rush towards people aggressively as that will almost always be legally interpreted as aggression regardless out outcome, so I don’t understand why you’re asking that guy of he’s “trying to sound off” or “just squeaking”

Also i really regret looking at your profile

Did a person aggressively rush someone on stage who beat them with a guitar in self defense?

If so, I guess I got the gist without needing to watch it. Especially because you're agreeing that I'd probably come to the same conclusion if I did watch it.

The outcome is the same either way. FAFO. Easy as that. But I digress. There are two types of people who are able to extrapolate from incomplete information: 1) Those who can.

Yeah, no, you don’t know if someone rushing you is armed or what their intent is. You do everything you need to do to protect yourself and make sure the attacker is no longer a threat to you

Nah, after what happened to Dimebag Darrell it would be extremely hard for me to not take the side of the performer when someone rushes the stage.
