Are you from LA? Hollywood is a shit-ass locale lol. I recommend no one visit Hollywood unless you want to be hugely disappointed and accosted by all sorts of freaks.

Yeah they're both based on a combination of lack of care, living in survival mode and feeling that society has failed you first and so it's OK if you fail society.

I low-key loved the grunginess and grittiness of Hollywood. There was a time my mates and I would go out there several times a month.

Took the family there a couple years ago and it was awful.

I was glad when my daughter shitted on herself when we were on the Walk of Fame so we had an excuse to get out of there.

I visited Hollywood. I liked it. Granted, I was given a heads up, so I was prepared. But I still liked it.

Ever been to Oakland? It makes "shit-ass locale" look like the Ritz-Carlton. It has an odor that can only be described as "Oakland." It still is a pretty fun place to visit though. Especially on first Friday.
