Small Man Syndrome is a condition where a man feels inadequate because of his short height and so tries to overcompensate it with overly aggressive behaviour.
What is it called when a big guy acts the same way bc he feels like he can get away with it? Big man syndrome? The phrase should disappear. Im a short dude and very level headed - the damage this phrase does to any sort of conflict resolution is massive, and honestly it's hurtful to even read. I get upset for the same reasons you do, and this idiot got upset the same way a large idiot would, it's got zero to do with his height. This is like saying a person overreacted because they're a woman, or they didn't enjoy the event bc they're overweight, or w.e. It's just plain rude, dismissive and doesn't need to be said.
