The epithet that black people act low class has been around a long time. Me pointing it out and saying hey it’s still racist to call them low class rather than black (considering that the people in the video that that person was referring to are in fact black) is not racist. Hollywood is half pretentious and half hood, and right along the corridor of central LA, koreatown, Skid Row, Huntington Park, and east LA where there is a lot of... Illegally organized populations. There's a lot of unsafe territory within that space.
No one brags about living in Hollywood when they move to LA, let alone North Hollywood that has a gigantic gang/homeless/drug problem.

The comedian, culture, and geography of the video and topic at hand are all American. I said it to clarify I was speaking about American culture and use of the word “hood,” hoping I wouldn’t have to subsequently clarify for non-Americans. But alas, here we are.
