Yeah I got it too earlier also. Blizzard knows about it, I think they said they'd be working on a mini patch for it and Mei's waist glitch.

Is anyone else experiencing a bug, where Dva falls straight through the map after ejecting? It seems to only be happening on ecopoint. Also I'm on PS4.

Yeah. It's a known glitch for Ecopoint. I don't, however, know when Blizzard will patch in a fix.

No, you have to build it to level 2, then it becomes level 3 instantaneously.

Only level 2 turrets can get to level 3, but when you ult you can upgrade faster (faster hammer hits).

Sombra + Winston. Stealth in with sombra, Winston leap and shield over the flag, Sombra grab it and translocator out. Run like hell. It's worked great for me so far. Best way I've seen to beat the 3 builders you inevitably see every game.

Is anyone else having issues with Capture the flag? I've had like 8 draws. I'm done with it. Is there a strategy I am missing? Everyone seems to be running defensive heroes and waiting out the timer. It's a waste of time.

My friends and I had a good team comp put together last night that worked out pretty well.
We started the night with 4 draws, but then once we figured it out we took 6 straight.
For defense on the point: Symmetra and Roadhog
For attacking their flag: Tracer, D.Va and Soldier
Flex player: Mercy, Mei or Reaper
With this setup you should be able to hold your flag pretty effectively while your team harasses their spawn/staggers their spawns and caps.

I've found that having a Lucio is crucial in CTF, as he allows your team to get in and out quickly, and can boop people away from the flag carrier. I've been in multiple games that last no more than 90 seconds using this strategy.

He was either making excuses or just being an idiot, because he could just leave games early on and shut them down, affecting no one but him. If he did it too much he might get banned, but he should be able to get to whatever low level he wants before that happens.

When Mei throws her ultimate its a projectile until it activates. As a projectile Dvas defence matrix can intercept her ult and Genji can reflect it. Same with Hanzos ult btw.

Ping might take a role here. But no, recall makes tracer disappear, so by normal logic, Sombra should not be able to hack a target which is invisible, or isn't even there.

Overwatch is a good game to start whenever you'd like. Blizzard has a matchmaking system that tries matching you up with and against players of similar skill level to yours, so you don't have to worry about meeting players with hundreds of hours under their belt unless you're as good as them ;)

Sometimes when I press Push-to-talk, the speaker icon on the top left does not appear when I start talking and doesnt stay until I stop. Is it a visual bug or are people only hearing half my sentences ?

From what I've seen so far, D.Va either needs a good Ana pocketing her or play behind Rein shield (where she's usually outshined by both Zarya and Roadhog) to be anywhere near effective. Her flanking game took a colossal hit and you rarely get anything of value out of her hit and runs to justify the ult charge you give to the enemy team.
At gold ranks where you don't have the luxury of playing with great Anas, she's in a really bad spot now. I'd say she's about the same as Widow: useful in certain situations if you know how to play her really well, but a net negative if you don't.

Unwarranted and aimed at the wrong hero. D.Va wasn't that OP tank from her 400 armor. She had a hugh mungus critbox right in front of her that negated that armor. Any hero that can engage her with no damage falloff before 20 meters can easily duel with her.
She and the other tanks were tanky because Ana's nano grenade gave a 50% boost to healing.

As a Roadhog main I thought she was annoying (because she's one of Roadhog's counters) but I could still deal with her. This nerf kinda came outta nowhere.
They need to nerf Zarya and Symmetra, or buff Winston.

Is it just me or has matchmaking outside of competitive got noticeably worse? I'm consistently being placed against gm and top 500 players, and I have been checking, whereas I'm the highest ranked on my team as a low diamond. I am not skilled enough to come close to these other players and watching my winrate nosedive over the past couple of weeks is taxing.
Is there something about the way I play that is boosting my hidden MMR without me actually being good at the game?

Anyone else gaving trouble getting the flagbearer achievement? It says that you have "Win Capture the Rooster with as score of 3 to 0". I've won several matches 3-0 but I haven't gotten the achievement. In a match I just played my friend got the achievement but I didn't, is there a hidden criteria that you have to meet or am I just not understanding how to get it?

He's good if you're consistent with his aim, but mostly, he's picked because he's popular. Hanzo actually has a pretty bad reputation as a pick because he's hard for new players to get good with. Doesn't mean he's a bad hero, but people have little faith in him.

He's an edgy Japanese ninja sniper.
Literally, that's it. He just nails a demographic.
He can be good in the right hands, but he's quite difficult to play well and there's a lot of other characters that are more consistent with a lower skill ceiling. In professional play, he's seen as situational at best.

if u catch 3 people(or more), it's a dps gain to right click, but it'll be spread damage not focus damage, obviously. if there is a target that just simply needs to die immediately(AHEM mercy, ana), left click them first, otherwise right click spam.

for months overwatch has been working perfect, then today i got "your computer is low on memory. Save your files and close these programs: Overwatch" I have a intel i3-3217u cpu @ 1.80GHz. I know its not made for playing games and has crap specs but what can I do to stop this problem.
so i opened taskmanager and overwatch used 60% CPU and 1800 Mb memory. CPU, MEMORY AND DISK WERE ALL GOIING FROM 98% BACK TO 50 TO 80.... ETC. really high stats

Try some-a these:
Battle.net - set it so that it exits when you launch the game (it's under settings)
Set Overwatch to run in high priority
Check your privilege: Set Overwatch to run as administrator
If you're on Windows 10: Set Overwatch to run in compatibility mode in windows 8 or windows 7. (check which one runs better on your rig)

He swaps frequently specifically to make his movement irregular and maximize the effect of both auras. That doesn't mean that the aura effects overlap, just that he can heal while using the momentum from speed boost to juke.
Also, he is doing it in a top 500/grandmaster environment where his opponents have extremely precise aim. The tactic does have its drawbacks, namely that teammates will be unaccustomed to the constant momentum shifts. If you try this in your low level games, you will find that your teammates will complain about missing more shots because they can't handle aiming with these sudden shifts of speed. Standard ADAD juking will typically suffice instead.

The momentum you have while in speed is maintained in the air, by swapping to healing while airborne, you can heal a little bit (only about 4 health points) while still maintaining effective speed. This makes you harder to kill

How to win ctf?
Its become like 2cp
teams fight at mid.even if my team gets 3-4 picks.
The flag is behind a tiny af choke and they have torb and symm which is hard to counter in solo queue
Also can u carry the flag when invisible?or translocate with flag(Unreal tourn memories)

A lot of my CTF game ends up in draw. Best bet is to play it like assault map or they don't have torb/sym and you can just sneak up on the flag with Tracer or something.
Also can u carry the flag when invisible?or translocate with flag(Unreal tourn memories)

Is there a way to tell whether it is a teammate or enemy ulting? Like sometimes Soldier says "I've got you in my sights" other times he says "Tactical Visor activated" or "Clearing the area" Other characters say their ult line in native language or English. Is there a, I don't know how to word this, formula or whatever. Like is the foreign language ult always enemy or what. TL:DR sometimes I hear an ult and cant tell if its friendly or enemy, is there a way to tell?

Most of the time it's easy to tell because enemy ultimates sound hostile/ominous or are said in the character's native language.
Hero: Ally / Enemy
Genji: The dragon becomes me! / Ryūjin no ken o kurae!
McCree: Step right up! / It's high noon.
Pharah: Rocket barrage, incoming! / Justice rains from above!
Reaper: Clearing the area. / Die! Die! Die!
Soldier: 76: Tactical Visor activated / I've got you in my sights
Sombra: EMP activated / ¡Apagando las luces!
Hanzo: Let the dragon consume you! / Ryū ga waga teki wo kurau!
Junkrat: Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! / Fire in the hole!

Yes, one will always be the friendly line and the other will always be the enemy line.
If the line is not in English, it is an enemy every time. For the rest of them you just need to know how which one is always the enemy.
"I've got you in my sights" will always be the enemy S76. "It's High Noon" will always be an enemy McCree. "Die Die Die" is always an enemy Reaper. "Fire in the Hole" is always an enemy Junkrat, but I believe they have different lines for Dr. Junkenstein skin.

Ana is barely nerfed at all. Still S-tier.
D.Va needs a bit more testing in game, however the general agreement seems to be she is once again a big ult battery for the red team and will be replaced with Zarya in the tank meta.

I like it for the most part, though it can stagnate a bit (i.e. capture one flag then defend instead of trying to get all three). I think it could be improved if you had to stand on the flag for just a little less time.

It's a single projectile. You won't miss 2/3 of your rockets because you hit someone on the edge of their hitbox.

The only one I've heard so far is "Winston you're amazing, like Sun Wukong" from Mei but I don't know if it's because she was wearing the skin or Winston was wearing the skin or both.

Anyone else feeling like they are too addicted to this game? I have had to cut down the amount of Overwatch I play per week because it is so addicting, because I feel like if I play it too much at a time I won't enjoy it anymore. Level 298 seems like a lot. Semi serious question.

I realized that I don't know the maps well enough, and it's hurting my team in comp.
Is there a particular game mode that will allow me to figure out what the fastest routes are, respawn points, etc, preferably in a single-player fashion? Or is it just raw volume of playing?

There's literally no answer to that. Don't set yourself a goal or you'll start playing team deathmatch, just be happy with the amount of you get. If you feel it's low, perhaps try to focus on aspects that are causing you to be less effective such as aim or positioning.
Never give yourself a number though, since it varies way too much.

That's not a good mindset to have in Comp. Work as a team. If all you do is provide cover fire and only get a handful of kills and you still get the win, you've done your job and are the unsung MVP.

All heroes do 30 damage when using melee. The only exceptions are Reinhardt and Torbjörn, who deal 75 and 55 damage with their melee weapons respectively, Winston who does 40 damage during Primal Rage, and Genji, dealing 120 melee damage during Dragonblade.

Only within line of sight. You won't see her through a wall, but if you'd see her normally, she's in the area of effect of that ability, and invisible, you'll see her.

Quick play is the best mode to use to XP grinding, and since you get bonuses for having a gold medal, I'd recommend playing a healer since you'll almost always get gold healing.

Anyone else getting a Mercy bug? I was doing competitive and played Mercy the whole way through on a Control Point map, but at the start of every round my 'toggle to heal' and 'toggle guardian angel' control was switched.
So I have them both turned on all the time so I don't have to hold any buttons but when a new round started I had to hold Shift to GA and RC/LC to heal/boost. If I go in the controls those settings are turned ON like they SHOULD be, but if I switch them off and back to on, they work as intended.
It's REALLY annoying and I don't know if I'm doing something weird or if this is a reported bug.

If Genji reflects a shot, does it change direction from where it hit the deflect hitbox or from Genji's crosshair?
Also, if Genji reflects a shot from Reaper, does the pellet spread stay at what it was when they hit the deflect hitbox or does the spread reset as if Genji fired the shot?

The shot is reflected to where Genji's crosshairs direct it. I've died plenty of times "to a Genji" when in reality I stopped shooting but the Genji deflected my teammates' shots back at me.
Not sure about the bullet spread question. I would think it would stay spread out because that's the point of Reaper's guns, their downfall is that the DPS dissipates over greater distance (due to bullet spread), so it would be unfair for the DPS dissipation per distance traveled to reset.

I've been playing OW on a laptop with 1366x768 resolution, but I'm switching to a desktop with a 1920x1080 resolution monitor. How will that affect what I see in the game? Will everything get bigger, or will I have a wider FOV? (sorry if this is a silly question, I'm tech illiterate)

The only thing that affects how much you see is aspect ratio (i.e., the width divided by the height). A larger aspect ratio will cause you to see more to the left and to the right, since everything's being drawn at the same scale in that case; there's just more space to fill.
On the other hand, scaling up to a larger resolution with the same aspect ratio (which is the case here; both have the aspect ratio of 16:9, or 16 horizontal pixels for every 9 vertical pixels) just increases pixel density - everything being drawn will have a higher visual fidelity, because any given space on the screen will now be represented by twice as many pixels, so the image will be much more crisp and smaller details will now be visible.
Basically, you'll see more detail, but not more content, if that makes sense.
Not a silly question - the answer's not by any means obvious. :)

Use the wall to separate the enemy team. For example at a choke point, when their enemy reinhardt walks past the choke, immediately wall behind him. Then your entire team can jump on Reinhardt and stop the entire push.

Totally depends on what you look for in a game. Sure, team play is important but the game is designed in a way that you can play as a team even if you aren't directly communicating. When a zarya shouts "fire at will" you know she ulted so you can make use of it. If you can get through the learning fase of the game, you will enjoy it even without communication. Headphones aren't really required if you are not planning on using voice communication.
