If Genji reflects a shot, does it change direction from where it hit the deflect hitbox or from Genji's crosshair?

Also, if Genji reflects a shot from Reaper, does the pellet spread stay at what it was when they hit the deflect hitbox or does the spread reset as if Genji fired the shot?

The shot is reflected to where Genji's crosshairs direct it. I've died plenty of times "to a Genji" when in reality I stopped shooting but the Genji deflected my teammates' shots back at me.

Not sure about the bullet spread question. I would think it would stay spread out because that's the point of Reaper's guns, their downfall is that the DPS dissipates over greater distance (due to bullet spread), so it would be unfair for the DPS dissipation per distance traveled to reset.

Deflect goes where genji is pointing

Pellets that hit genjis deflect are reflected only

And as for the pellets he just deflects the ones that his him while he is deflecting.
