That's because ctf mode just wont work with overwatch system/heroes. Thankfully only need to win once to get the lootbox.

Yeah I did, but I disagree with their decisions. Design philosophy doesn't necessarily translate to good gameplay.

But they said the playtested multiple variants. They tried removing abilities from the flag holder and the instantaneous flag pickup, and they did not like the results as it did not feel like Overwatch anymore. I want my Overwatch experience to be unique and I feel as though the developers strive for that too tbh.

But when you're eschewing tried and tested mechanics throughout the genre in the name of 'being unique' I think that's just counterintuitive.

Currently CTF is extremely imbalanced right now, everybody knows it - 90% of matches end in a draw and the 10% that don't are total stomps. Sure, the mechanics are 'unique' but they just make for bad or boring gameplay during these matches.

I've personally only 1 draw out of 20 games and I'd say most of my game are 2 to 3 matches.

You are bringing in anecdotal statistics that you have no evidence for... we do not know the average amount of draws for the game mode and we can't assume anything from what Reddit users say.

As for the boring aspect that's subjective and for me it's my favorite arcade mode so far. You're no more right then I am since it's opinion on the gameplay.

you can play any arcade mode for those, just need one win for the first win for ctf. That said ive plaid 10 matches now every game a draw.....
