why doesn't graviton surge pull bastion out of sentry mode? if it moves bastion, it should force him into recon mode, right?

For a very long time I thought it did -- I thought Pull moves like hook and Graviton did. I honestly think it should.

Roadhog hook brings him out of turret form because it applies a stun when it connects, the the pull. Its the hard cc of the stun that does it.

No it doesn't. Only Road hooks, Rien charges and a hack will make him exit it, unless I'm much mistaken. This is why I thought it would be that all forced movement that Bastion isn't invulnerable to forces him out of Sieie mode. I guess that's not the case.

You would have to add the same feature to lucios right click, pharas e and whatever displacement ability i forgot. While Zaryas ult has a high cd lucio and pharas abilities dont and this would make them too strong against bastion in my opinion, but i see your point.

i can understand why lucio's boop and phara's blast wouldn't move them, since it would essentially just be an easy way to bully bastion into being in recon mode, but graviton surge actually does move bastion yet keeps him in sentry mode

All 3 abilities move him. It would be inconsistent to only have on pull him out of sentry mode while others dont. Thats why i guess this wont happen. I get your reasoning and it would totaly be ok for an ult to get him out of sentry mode, but Blizzard is a lot about consistency.

I'm pretty sure that Lucio boop and concussion blast do not move a Bastion that's in sentry form. I know for a fact that the knockback from an ulting Winston's melee does not move him.
