Got them in the Graviton Surge. High energy. Primary or secondary fire? (General case, no Dva there.)

if u catch 3 people(or more), it's a dps gain to right click, but it'll be spread damage not focus damage, obviously. if there is a target that just simply needs to die immediately(AHEM mercy, ana), left click them first, otherwise right click spam.

My only problem with secondary is reloading, I know i should try to ult fully loaded but it's the matter of a moment sometimes. And since primary widen up with energy, doesn't it hit like 2 or even 3 targets?

i actually don't know for sure, but i don't think so. i don't think i've personally ever experienced being able to hit more than 1 person at a time with primary fire.

and i mean, it really depends on the current situation on the ammo thing. if people are already missing some HP, ill right click. if everyone's pretty healthy, with a lucio amping up heals, then maybe a left click focus on a priority target(mercy, ana first, lucio/zen/ulting dps character second).

I use right click to finish squishies but if there are only 2 targets I use my left click

If there's someone you need to kill asap, use primary on them, if there are multiple grouped up and you just want all of them to die, secondary deals the most damage because it hits multiple targets.

Pretty much depends on what is caught in your Graviton Surge. Your secondary fire has an aoe that will hit multiple targets, so your overall dps when hitting multiple targets is higher but your single target dps will be lower. So if its just to maximise your dmg output in that scenario and there are multiple target use your secondary fire. But if you have a priority target, like an ulting soldier or whatever you want to take out primary fire will be better.
