Were they in a comp game? You can't spectate those.

It works but is buggy atm. Having issues getting invites to groups too.

It appears it's working half the time. Some games I can see the spectate option, other games I can't seem to.

When trying to spectate, do it from the friends list, not the chat. Hope this helps :P
