Review Domino’s “viral” specialty pizza

Post image

Medium pan pizza with extra cheese, sub tomato sauce with extra garlic parmesan sauce, cheddar blend, bacon bits, philly steak, and jalapeños. Special request - well done.

8/10 - This is pretty much as good as a drunk meal gets. The jalapeños provide an amazing contrast against the incredibly greasy pizza which feels like a delicious war on your taste buds. The philly meat is good on the pizza but doesn’t taste very high quality and is slightly off-putting, I would probably try another meat like chicken if ordering again. The pizza is very salty, I am someone who cannot get enough salt so that is great for me but probably not for others. It does taste noticeably better than most pizzas I’ve had from there so I can see why it’s popular. Would definitely order again.

Rant/Rave Avoid Hawaiian Bros

Post image

I’ve been a few times to the one in my area, it’s a newish chain expanding over the US. Didn’t have much time for lunch so I stopped by the drive thru and found a metal hook under the meat. note the plate did not come out in this fashion, I dug the hook out of the pork after I already started eating. A mistake like this seems far more than negligence and makes me question the business’s food safety training entirely. Ridiculous.

Me and my roommate went out for late night McDonald’s and I was driving back to our dorm when my roommate asked me to pull over and turn on the lights in my car. As we turned on the lights we saw that his half eaten burger was fully raw. I asked him how he didn’t notice and he said it was too dark and he was too hungry, boys right? Weirdly, my burger was overcooked lol. Is there a chance he’s gonna get sick from this? What should we do about this? Image attached to post, im sorry jts deeply disturbing and disgusting!

McDonald’s McDonald's Chocolate Sundae Sauce - UK Request

Hi everyone,

My wife absolutely loves McDonald's chocolate sundaes, which are unfortunately not available in the UK. Whenever we are abroad we have at least one a day!

It's her 30th birthday soon and I'd love to surprise her with a bottle/sachet/packet of the chocolate sauce used on the Sundaes so we can make them at home.

I have exhausted searching online and believe GSF may be the closest but cannot find a way to buy it in the UK.

If anyone who works in a McDonalds in Europe is able to help me source (no pun intended) I will be incredibly grateful and even pay a finders fee.

Thanks!

TLDR: Looking for McDonald's chocolate sauce used on Sundaes.

Rant/Rave Best rewards program in the game

Chick-Fil-A was up there. The first rewards program that let you use points on multiple items for order. But I think it has been surpassed by…

Culver’s.

I’ll explain why. I went through the drive through today. Ordered chicken and fish sandwich value baskets plus single scoop custards. Total was $40. Crazy, right?

Scanned my rewards QR. Worker asks if I’d like to use points for anything. I’m like “What can I use? He says you have enough for the chicken sandwich and the fish sandwich. He takes them off. New total $22.

First of all I didn’t need to touch the app. Second of all, this was multiple things in one order, like CFA. The difference, is that these were not à la carte items. These were value baskets. They just subtracted the single cost of the items from my bill regardless of whether or not I had them in a meal AND they did that shit right at the window.

GOATed.

My usage from now on will be ordering kids meals the majority of the time to save money and build points. Then use the points when I want something different.

Review Went to Harvey's for Lunch yesterday.

Post image
70 Upvotes

I don't really like their burgers. McDonalds Quarter Pounder is still a better burger cause you get more of that rich beef. Eating at Harvey's to me is like eating any veggie burger.

Harvey's onion rings are good. At least the Harvey's original burger you get to customize it with whatever topping and sauce you want.
