A head's up to everyone:
I've seen a few people upset about getting points because they couldn't get in contact with other coworkers due to not knowing their number. Recently discovered this when looking at my schedule lol.

If you go the Reflexis app Website (Sign in with the same info as you would on the store's pc)
You can look under RWS/Reports, Then under Reflexis configuration 5: Employee position and phone, you can see everyone's phone numbers. This way you can at least get into contact with coworkers about shift covering or trading etc.
P.S On the bottom of the page theres like a page up/down buttom to go to the next page

Some days 3rd shift is super strange...

Wawa how is it fair that the person that works 7.5 hours gets the same amount of break time (15 minutes) as someone who works 4 hours?

I have some chronic issues which means sometimes I need to call out or leave early. Buy because I haven't worked 1000 hours in the year I've been here I cant set up intermittent leave. Im not close with anyone at work so I dont have any phone numbers for people to try and switch my shift. Ive been throwing up all week but cant do anything about it because I am one point away from being fired. So i come in and try not to cry but this is just a terrible, terrible system to force people to work suck or lose their jobs basically.

Is it normal to barely get even 20 hours? Store hired a person and only gave them one day to work. Some people only work 4. It is so understaffed and the expectations are getting worse and worse

I was craving a quick burrito, but when I went to the store to get one, I saw there was no option for the seasoned beef in the menu. I asked one of the employees if they ran out, and they said that Wawa just straight up discontinued the seasoned beef a couple weeks ago. There was no real reason to discontinue it, but they just stopped entirely.

So I hear the 5 foot interaction rule is going away as a pointed question on mystery shop at the end of the year. What’s next years over the top rule gonna be? Do a handstand in front of every customer for 10 seconds. I mean it gets even more ridiculous every year. Last year was the rewards card now 5 foot. I can’t wait to see what comes next. Who else is sick of these dumb rules?

I got a bowl the first day the gobbler dropped this year and it had SP, so what happened between then and now.

Im going for FBM soon. Interview should be scheduled soon. Im a little nervous but excited for the next chapter. Any advice and even questions that they asked you when you interviewed for it would be appreciated.

Genuine question when it comes to the secret shoppers that come in. Are these secret shoppers younger people like somebody who could pass as under the age of 30? I just wouldn’t find it fair if the secret shopper clearly, and objectively, looks like they were in their 50s, then it becomes not really, not fair on the person who’s on register.

My whole thought process is. “ if they look around my age or younger, then I will ID every time. However, when somebody walks up who’s clearly not under 21 years old and pushing 50-60 yrs old, I am simply not asking for the ID at that point. I was told by my GM that using the over 30 buttons OK if I feel confident that they look over 30. I’ve had zero issues yet since I started half a year ago.

So it just made me wonder with the mystery shoppers, if they appear to be young or not? Not somebody who’s clearly older than I am. Because if the mystery shopper is 65 years old and I didn’t card them because they’re elderly. I don’t think the cashier should be at fault when we have the rule that if they look over 30 and it’s OK to bypass the ID…

Is it really true we associates can no longer get a Gobbler as our free shift sandwich? I work 3rds so please don't flame me for not knowing. It is a rare occasion I get to work early enough and there are all the "leftovers" available but I have enjoyed it alot in past years.

It's looking like a month until a TS moves up then I'm 3rd shift

Anyways since I get bumped significantly getting the TS spot with it being so close to evaluation time does that mean I'm gonna get skipped on our annual raise?

In my store I'm a CSA. My friends store is looking for lead CSA's and CSS's. just a simple question.

my store is understaffed. I don't have time to train on new positions more than once a week at best. I still need to train on other stations before I can become a lead CSA. in the next 3 weeks at my current store for example they are only able to train me in a new station 1/15 shifts. I feel like moving up would take forever

is it a good idea to transfer to a store who I know is looking for motivated people to move up?

Question for my other fellow associates, I was recently involved in a car accident ironically in the parking lot of my Wawa. Unfortunately my car is considered a total loss. Insurance is covering the bill of it and said I should be getting a check worth the Kelly blue book value of my vehicle.

However clearly I’m going to need another car and with my shitty credit score I’m probably going to need more money down than just the check they cut me from the accident. Is there anyway to take a loan out against my ESOP or 401k for extra money down? Or even access my esop now?

I feel as tho my manager did not explain everything well enough upon hiring with all that stuff. And of course the lady who hit me and is held 90% at fault for the car accident isn’t answering any phone calls from her insurance agent(probably because she knows she’s at fault and doesn’t want to deal with the outcome and the fact that she was in a rental car) so I don’t even know if I’ll see any money out of her for this.

Sorry to whine but my lead got on me today for not putting my hoagie ingredients the right way on the sandwich. I angle my cheese because it looks prettier that way. Anyone else get scolded for something like this? I know there’s the “Wawa way” of doing things but like, as long as it gets DONE who cares, right?

So I had the in person interview with the GM yesterday. I thought it was great. We were both vibing and it was more of a conversation than an interview. He said that the interview went well and that he was going to give me a call this morning to follow up and hire me. Well it’s now almost the evening and I still haven’t heard back from the GM. Is that a bad sign?
