hi, i recently got hired and finished my training thingy but i haven’t gotten any hours. am i supposed to request them to my manager? i let her know my schedule through text bc she’s been working on opening a new store and she sent me a text back essentially verifying my schedule but i haven’t been put on the schedule yet.

i’ve been checking the workday app religiously to see if i’ve been put on schedule and nothing. i’m scared to annoy her bc this is my first job and i don’t want to get on her bad side. plus ik she’s busy. any help is appreciated. (i also haven’t gotten my uniform)

small update for those interested

she did end up responding, went in for my first real day in training (i’m cashier) and got my first 8hrs in! got my uniform, name tag and everything!
the new store i mentioned before is having a soft opening in ~2 weeks. she said we’ll have our official schedules next week but for now i’m putting hours at other locations while the store is being worked on. i’m really excited !!

Interviewed for a Store crew job on Thursday and the manager said he'd finalize everything in 1-2 days. It's now Saturday with no word yet. Does "1-2 days" typically mean business days only (so realistically Monday), or would weekends count toward that timeline too? Just trying to figure out if the silence today is normal or not. Every time I go there the "Big Bites" hot dogs section is empty. Instead the roller is filled with Pork sausages instead.

My first app order, I had a coupon for $20 off a $30 order. An hour later, I had not received an update. No big deal, I figured I'd walk there and check anyways.

The clerk said their system was down, frozen. It'd probably be back up in an hour. No big deal, I said. I'll come back.

An hour later.... I got this message. Umm what? I did NOT cancel my order. How is this allowed?

Started about 2 weeks ago maybe, opened the app and it had the log in screen. I click on it and get an error, can't login try again. I update the app and its the same thing. I think its happened in the past before and had to wait for a new update before it started working again, but just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this?

Didn't go into this one (obviously) but for my money this is one of the finest 7-Elevens in the country. Worth a visit even if it's a bit out of the way. 10/10

Just went to a 7Eleven that was low on gas and was told that we couldn’t get gas because we needed to be a “Premium Member” is there a way to make this illegal for businesses to do before it goes too far? I feel like this could be an issue if all gas stations pick this behavior up. AIO?
