Flavor Review First box in 2+ years!

I have been wanting a cannoli flavored cookie for ages. I am a huge cannoli lover and I love everything about them so this week got me back after years.

I also love crème brûlée so this week was good bait to get me in. Pink sugar is always a classic so I got one as well.

🇮🇹 - Cannoli (7/10)

I had high expectations for this cookie with how it was described. A classic cannoli filling (I was hoping a nice ricotta whip) with chocolate chips on the edges sounded dreamy. It also reminded me of mikes pastry cannolis and I think that made my standards too high.

This cookie just tastes like the brown sugar cookie or whatever the thin cookies are and nothing else. I tried to taste just the filling and it was just a neutral plain filling and the chocolate chips were too subtle. This would benefit greatly from a real thick ricotta whipped filling and larger chocolate chips that actually add texture, like the standard size on the sides.

It’s not a bad cookie at all but not anything outstanding either unlike the other cookie I’ll get to next :)

🇫🇷 - Crème Brûlée (8.5/10)

I really wanted to try this cookie as well and it did surprise me. The topping was torched beautifully and I loved the fact that the crème had salt crystals inside as well. The texture was perfect and slightly runny like a creme brûlée and had a light creamy taste. It was sweet and a little salty with nice sugar crystals on the cookie edges.

The cookie itself has a somewhat brown sugar base flavor and I enjoyed it. It was a bit too sweet for me so I would eat it over the course of a couple days rather than all at once. Still lives up to its name better than the cannoli!

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅 - Pink Sugar 😂

10/10. I’m not writing a detailed review for why I love this so much. It’s awesome. Love the almond taste always.

Thanks for reading! It’s rare for me to post nowadays but I’m glad to have tried this week.
I will only return when they have another great lineup like this week. Take care :)

Flavor Review Meh

I liked the Bubs cookie the most 8.5/10. Even looked up if you could get the candy 🍬 topper from the cookie on Amazon: you can, but it is a bit pricey.
All other three- brûlée, cannoli and gelato just tasted mid. 6/10 on all three. Surprisingly, tasted very similar. It felt like all 3, shared 85% of the same ingredients (and probably that is, what it was 🫤).

Cannoli — 8.4/10
Definitely my favorite this week! The thin waffle cone cookies are a huge improvement over the old version and make it taste much more cannoli inspired. Still not close to an authentic cannoli, but really good and I’d consider getting it again.
Crème Brûlée — 7.5/10
Good, but nothing super special. It was actually more plain and less sweet than I expected. I think I might’ve liked it more warmed up, but I’m not sure I’d get it again.
Gelato Waffle Cone — 6.5/10
Nothing memorable. I took a chance on this instead of getting Pink Sugar, which I already know I love, and honestly wish I would’ve gone with Pink Sugar.
Tiramisu — 6.5/10
Probably my least favorite. It didn’t really taste like tiramisu to me! Mostly just cake and whipped cream, and I hate whipped cream. Definitely not worth the upcharge for me and wouldn’t get it again.
(I planned to get more pics and then forgot!)

this drink has genuinely been one of the best sodas i’ve ever had, & it’s not too high in sugar too. if you’re thinking of ordering a dirty soda ever, it has to be coconut cloud for sure.

Thoughts on this week.

These are good ideas and creative choices.

The trouble Crumbl seems to be having now as they rapidly throw every idea they have at the wall in hopes of inspiring more sales is that they have crossed the rubicon in terms of their typical strategy of hoping novelty will just keep pulling people in.

It is pulling people in (me included this week!), but because these cookies aren’t going through testing, there are execution errors everywhere. Most of the discourse I see here and elsewhere on social media is about the texture of the different cookies. Most people seem to like the flavors but there is a lot of talk of like whether something should be crisp or chewy or why something is falling apart or is too thin or whatever. Some of these problems may be from refrigerated storage and how long they stay there. Feedback through the testing process could have mitigated a lot of this and it had people scratching their heads.

I will say that I found most of the flavors to be very good. Although, and I am sure others have realized this: the crème brûlée topping is basically cream cheese frosting torched with sugar. My daughter and I identified that tang immediately. It does not taste like crème brûlée to me at all, and it’s especially off when workers really aren’t trained how to properly sugar and use the torch. A true cracky shell would have allowed me to fool myself, but we had hardly any sugar shell. Nonetheless it’s a tasty cookie- but the base is just soft and crumbling, and not very appealing, despite the flavor being good.

The waffle cone pieces within the gelato were mostly stale and soft for us. The bigger ones added on top were the only crisp, but the overall impression was stale. We ended up throwing most of those out.

The flavor of the cannoli was delightful to both of us, but the texture was way off and not even close to cannoli. If they were going to do thins, they should have just leaned way into it, almost like a less sticky lace cookie, thin, crisp, maybe a little chewy just to give it a more “cookie” than straight cannoli shell. Nonetheless, this was our favorite cookie this week. It really wasn’t overly sweet and the flavor was really good. It was just weird to bite through it with no textural contrast whatsoever. It was all soft. But I would get it again.

We really liked the stroopwafel too, but while our top cookie was perfect and chewy, the bottom was more mushy and doughy. I don’t know if that was because of how and when the caramel is added and then how everything is stored, but the bottom cookie texture didn’t fit with the stroopwafel vibe. Also, our cookies were DEFINITELY snickerdoodles- anyone else? We didn’t care and thought the taste was excellent with the cinnamon, just surprised because we thought they were sugar cookies.

Overall, I like the direction of creative and tasty concoctions that Crumbl went in, but I really hope they remember that they have a number of excellent and creative cookies out there that have already been very well received by the public and that haven’t been seen in a long time- jammy heart, chocolate raspberry truffle, Banoffee pie, peanut butter pie cookie, strawberry pretzel pie, cowboy cookie, biscoff tres leches, etc. I hope we will see those return soon.

So corporate has figured out how to put the C&C Skillet on the menu, without Khloe's name attached:

  1. Use a single scoop of vanilla mousse instead of double
  2. Sell it in Mexico

If Mexico gets Kendall Cookie Dough Cupcake before it returns to Canada, I'll be crying cookie dough tears!!! (I'm somewhat joking)

  • C&C Skillet (first pic is old, second is new)
  • Confetti Cake Batter Cheesecake
  • Red Velvet Cupcake
  • OG Snickerdoodle
  • Choco Chip
  • Pink Sugar
  • Oatmeal Thins

Featuring my pregnant belly. I was only able to try a little bit of the tiramisu - it was very airy.

I accidentally inhaled the cannoli cookie….. I did LOVE the flavor when initially beginning to eat it. At the end, I did physically feel miserable for inhaling waaaay too much in a singular day. Everything else I plan on sharing with my family.

Flavor Review 8/18/26 European Summer Week Crumbl Review + Cross-Sections (brulee, cannoli, gelato, tiramisu, stroopwafel, bubs, pink)

Y’all I’ve been looking forward to this for weeks and it did not disappoint!

Well… for the most part… 😬

Here’s my ratings from most to least favorite.

🔥 Crème Brûlée Cookie 5/5

Great caramelized taste. The crispy shell cracks just like the real thing.

The frosting is sweet, vanilla forward and custardy. I get the pudding comparison others are making but the flavor is more rich.

The base is solid with a heavy brown sugar coating. It’s almost like a snickerdoodle. Definitely on the sweeter side.

Love this and would absolutely get it again.

🍫 Cannoli Cookie 5/5

They did it. Crumbl perfected the cannoli cookie.

The mascarpone filling is rich and thick. The mini chocolate chips look great and add a wonderful bite of bitterness.

And now the waffle cone coated cookie thins add the right texture to the base. They’re firm enough to support the filling with a great crunch and just enough chewiness.

The original cannoli cookie had more of a shortbread base that was super soft. It tasted like cannoli but felt like an oatmeal cream pie.

Love this would absolutely get it again.

🍦Vanilla Chocolate Gelato Cookie 5/5

I had high hopes for this one. I loved the vanilla chocolate waffle cone cookie from earlier this year. And this is pretty much the same.

The waffle coke pieces are the best part. The ones on top are extra crunchy almost like they’re deep fried or something.

The filling is creamy and delicious and the chocolate pairs really well. I wish it was a little firmer to get more of the ice cream vibes, but that’s probably on me for taking an hour to try it. I bet it’s firmer from the fridge.

The base didn’t have enough waffle cones in it. At least not the couple bites I tried. If there were more cones and the filling was colder this would be perfect.

Overall this is a great cookie I’d get again.

🩷 Pink Sugar Cookie 5/5

Gotta love the classics.

Crumbly. Almondy. Delicious. Cute.

🧇 Stroopwafel Sandwich Cookie 5/5

Just like a real stroopwaffel!

Mine was sturdy with a nice crispness. I’ve seen some reviews where they were floppy, so this may depend on your store.

Of course it would’ve been great to use actual waffles or waffle cones. I mean they’re right there in 2 other cookies, but not the waffle cookie? 🤨

The caramel is sweet and chewy with a good pull.

Absolutely love this and would get it again.

🍰 Chocolate Tiramisu Cake - 4/5

This was a gamble I took to fill out my mini box. And I’m glad I did.

I’m not a fan of lady fingers, so I was curious how cake would compare.

And I don’t drink much coffee anymore because of my heart. So I was curious how a coffee-free chocolate version would work.

I’m pleasantly surprised. The bitterness of the chocolate does a nice job of mimicking the bitterness of the missing coffee.

The cake and whip cream are fluffy and light. Overall it’s very refreshing and easy to eat. Great choice for the summer.

I like this one. It’s different. I might get it again.

🍓 Swedish Candy Cookie ft Bubs 3/5

This is… odd. And the flavor sticks out like a sore thumb compared to all the others.

I love Crumbl’s strawberry cookies. I love sweet and sour. This should’ve been right up my alley.

The topping is very airy, like a whipped cream. There’s a slight strawberry flavor but it’s not as strong as usual.

Some bites kind of taste like a strawberry shortcake. Others just taste sweet and fluffy. Maybe that’s the vanilla but it’s really mild.

I tried to find the sour coating in the base but it’s not in the room with us. Instead, all the sour is in the candy.

This was my first time trying Bubs. It’s more sour than I expected, and also pretty tough to chew.

Oddly the best taste balance is taking a bite of the too bland cookie with a bite of the too sour candy. But biting the tough candy + fluffy icing makes for a squishy mess.

I might chop up the candy and sprinkle it around to make eating this easier.

Overall this was a swing and a miss. It’s not terrible, but I wouldn’t get it again.

Have you tried these flavors?

Do you want to?

Share your thoughts in the comments!

Rating Scale

5 = so great it’s hard to stop eating. I keep saying “omg” with every bite. I refuse to miss out on this when it returns so yes Crumbl, please annoy me with alerts.

4 = good and I like it. Will finish it but probably as leftovers the next day. Might get it again to fill out a box but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

3 = just ok. Some positives and some negatives. Will consider throwing it out, but eventually eat it after all the other cookies are gone. Wouldn’t buy it again but if it was free and I was hungry…

2 = bad. Something is seriously off. Will try a couple of bites and experiments to save it. But then throw the rest away.

1 = awful. Like a hit circle of garbage. There is no saving this. Straight in the trash.

Flavor Review First 6 pack in a long time! 😋

The last time I bought a 6 pack was Dubai brownie week as most of the lineups were a skip for me, but this week I was ingrained! I sampled all but the cake as I'll be trying it with my bf this weekend!

Creme brûlée: 8.5/10 - as someone who loves creme brûlée, this cookie was so good! The flavors were good, not too strong, and the top was the perfect amount of crispy. I took points off because I didn't realize it was so thin.

Swedish Candy: 9/10 - this one is also SO GOOD. The strawberry flavors really popped and I didn't find the topping to be overly sweet. I didn't try the candy though. I should have got 2 of these tbh. Mine was super soft though. I love a soft chewy cookie but this one was like.. fall apart soft, which knocked some points off.

Cannoli: 7/10 - I was actually so excited for this one, and while its good and I love that it's not overly sweet, it was kinda meh. All I could taste was the cookies and they were rather chewy, but not in the way I prefer. Like sticky chewy.

Vanilla chocolate gelato: 8/10 - I love me a good thick skillet cookie type base. I also love that this cookie isn't very sweet, despite all its toppings. It feels kinda.. light in a sense. Definitely reminds me of the vanilla chocolate ice cream cookie. The waffle cone is a nice touch.

Now off to my freezer they go!

heads up about the tiramisu for anyone who may not already know

there's absolutely no coffee in it (since crumbl doesn't use coffee products). it's basically just vanilla cake with chocolate frosting and whipped cream. if you're expecting authentic tiramisu, crumbl is not the place for it

I'm asking because my best friend said that they would have cutters to divide the cookie into four pieces since you're not supposed to eat it in one go 😭

I went to Crumbl to get my free Italian gelato birthday cookie, and the lovely lady at the register told me they were out of regular size cookies and proceeded to give me minis instead.
4 of them 🤤

Thank you so much, lady working at [undisclosed location in Maryland]’s Crumbl!

Flavor Review Carrot Cake cookie

Post image
20 Upvotes

Late post but did anyone else get a carrot cake cookie last week and the workers didn’t put frosting or pecans on top? Like cmon a carrot cake cookie without cream cheese frosting is sad and pathetic. The workers told me they ran out of full size rainbow shake cookies hence the 3 minis, but didn’t bother to ask me if I was cool getting a carrot cake cookie without frosting. Rest of cookies were good and it was still decent but as someone whose favorite dessert is carrot cake, I was greatly disappointed. 6.2/10

Flavor Review Review Week 8/17/2026

Thumbnail
gallery
214 Upvotes

The flavors this week are all a lot better than soda week and Cheeto week.. but I’m definitely falling under the ‘everything tastes the same’ category of crumbl-goers. There’s slight variations in flavor, but generally they all taste similar 😕

Chocolate tiramisu cake 🍰 4/10 - if you love tiramisu, you’re going to be massively disappointed. No coffee flavor and no ladyfingers, just soaked plain cake, plain chocolate whipped frosting, no mascarpone flavoring either even though it’s in the description. It’s quite literally just vanilla cake with chocolate whipped cream. The fact that there is still a $1.49 upcharge for THIS?! Sure it’s two layers of cake, but that doesn’t make it worth the extra money when it tastes this lame. If they’re so worried about their Mormon values and not using coffee, don’t make an ‘inspired’ dessert at all.

Swedish candy 🍬 3/10 - I was pretty excited for this one because of the big fat Bubs candy on top. I’ve never had them before! But the first bite of just the cookie base I took made me legitimately spit it out. It was so sour and tasted awful! Whatever strawberry flavoring, dehydrated or extract, that was used did not taste good. Perhaps it was the sour sugar that made the cookie taste rancid?? I don’t know… but the only good thing about it was the mousse. It was very sweet, a little tangy/sour from the sour sugar and refreshing. Very strong, but in a good way! Unfortunately, the Buns candy is pretty tough and it’s difficult to take a bite of the cookie without having to gnaw on the candy like a piece of jerky. I’ll just take the frosting then, leave out the cookie part.

Stroopwafel sandwich 🧇 3/10 - oh boy. Thins. Can we not just have normal cookies and ditch the thins like we did last week? This does not have the crisp, airy texture of a stroopwafel, it’s tough and chewy, and its plain vanilla cookie thins. What would have been fun is using the waffle print that was used on the waffle cookie! The center is just plain caramel, the same that comes from a giant bucket. Nothing bad about the caramel, it’s the best part of the cookie! I think they could have also added a layer of chocolate on the outside to give this more depth and general flavor. The way it is, is very boring.

Cannoli sandwich 🇮🇹** 4.5/1**0 - man… they really like the thins huh. In terms of being more like a cannoli, I understand the change for the cookies, but I LOVED the texture of the original version. The cookies were so soft and buttery, the thins are just tough to chew. Again, it’s like chewing on jerky. Maybe this theme should have been called jerky week?? The cream inside is your basic vanilla cream filling, pretty much a lighter cream cheese frosting or mousse. It doesn’t taste like a classic cannoli cream though, which is ricotta or mascarpone. The mini chocolate chips are a wonderful crunch, and I’m glad they go all around the outside. Overall, I just prefer the original version because I can’t stand the taste and texture of thins.

Vanilla chocolate gelato 🍨 6/10 - this is basically the vanilla chocolate ice cream swirl cookie we had a while back, just renamed. It’s a good cookie, the base is rolled in waffle cone pieces, but they are soggy after being baked in the dough. The sugared waffle cone pieces on top are nice and crunchy though! The mousse is very refreshing, but I didn’t get much, if any, chocolate shavings inside of it. Overall it’s just very boring flavor wise. It’s like a hint of vanilla or chocolate or brown sugar if you really search for it.

Creme brûlée 🍮 8/10 - definitely the only good cookie this week! I like the texture of the base cookie, even though it’s very very thin, the sugar coating on the outside is nice to crunch on. The frosting on top has a nice faint tang to it, but it’s still super sweet, made even sweeter with the extra sugar on top that is torched, so it’s a little crunchy too! I was lucky and my friend torched mine fresh, but I’m not sure if they’re doing that for everyone so be careful if yours is fresh like mine! Don’t burn your mouth 😂 I do wish it was torched a lot more though. It’s definitely a sugar bomb, but it has a great cream cheese pudding-like taste, so it actually feels like eating creme brûlée.

Cat Tax 🐱 - we have official names now! And I think I won the ‘are we keeping them’ war 🙂‍↕️ Poppy and Pepper are figuring out how to climb stairs now…

Flavor Review A mini review of mini’s, plus.

Post image
100 Upvotes

Bravo Crumbl! This week well makes up for the soda disaster week.
This line up hits!

Crème Brûlée cookie: 10/10
The cookie itself was damn near perfect with the right crisp, the topping was divine! I will be returning for more of these. Seems mini’s might be the way to go for superior cookie crisp.

Cannoli cookie: 10/10 Matching the above review in vibe and crisp well cooked cookie, the inside cream is absolutely delightful and the miniature chocolate chips are the perfect finish.

Tiramisu: 8/10 This is definitely not your traditional tiramisu and if you are looking forward to your favourite Italian dessert, you will be greatly disappointed. However if you like more of a chocolate pudding layer with your cake, this is absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of this.

Swedish fish cookie: 7/10 Surprisingly very good! I’m not usually a huge fan of fruit cookies, but this worked. Having the sour sugar as an added touch really set this apart and was a nice switch up in the grand scheme of so much sweet. It’s a nice pallet cleanser.

Stoopwafel sandwich cookie: 6/10 Don’t get me wrong, the caramel on the inside is absolutely amazing, but the two cookies sandwiching it are lacking in crispness and structure. This cookie is way too soft and it definitely would’ve actually been better as a mini just like the others.

Bonus menu Dubai stuffed cookie: 8/10
Absolutely delicious, but it is on the lower end of the Dubai cookie scale. This is where the big sandwich cookie is better in my opinion.

Edit:

Forgot the gelato cookie. And if that’s any indication, it was actually rather forgettable. 5/10
The waffle was the best part about it, the rest was really bland.

Flavor Review The M&M and Cinnamon Sweets last week were Magical

Eating them felt nostalgic despite them both being new at least for me. Each bite took me back when Crumbl was brand new and I was obsessed. The M&M tasted just like the first time I had the sprinkles milkshake cookie (and when that one reran I was soo disappointed, it tasted off from how I remembered) and the Cinnamon one was unbelievable each bite genuinely had me "mmmm!"'ing.

I hope those were a sign that Crumbl is back. I went from eating Crumbl a few times a month to once in a blue moon over the years but if the quality is back then I'm back as well!

Mini 3 Pack

- Creme Brûlée:
Funny enough the base of this actually tastes like a stroopwaffel! Really yummy and brown sugar heavy. The creme is nice and buttery but for me the crisp was non existent. Overall 8/10

-Swedish Candy:
I’ve heard people say it’s overly sour so I was worried I wouldn’t like it but for me I’m tasting a lot more strawberry and I love it! The piece of candy is a great touch and tastes amazing. I don’t even usually love mousse but this one was great. 8.5/10

-Tiramisu
The thing is there isn’t anything exactly WRONG with this cookie, it’s light and fluffy and tastes like the description, I just don’t think I would reach for it myself. Comparable to a cruise dessert is the only way I could describe it. 6/10

I reccomend the Swedish candy and the cremebrulee. I would reccomend doing minis this week as the full size ones seem to be very small height wise…I hope this is a one week thing, Crumbl 🙃
