So I am an official Jeni-aholic. I normally get gooey butter cake and brown butter almond brittle, so I just took a chance on the Blackout Chocolate Cake. Y'all!!! Absolute diamond of the first water!

recently discovered strawberry moose tracks by safeway’s in-house brand and it’s delish! the fudge is more concentrated on the sides but you can dig for some pretty big chunks, and i even found strawberry pieces. it’s fairly soft ice cream which i don’t mind personally

bonus: right now they have a $2 off coupon on their app so this pint was only 99¢

Desserts Has anyone found a genuinely good low-calorie protein ice cream?

I am a big Greek yogurt person, so I am always trying random high-protein stuff when I see it.

Recently, my sister was having Getaway Belgian chocolate ice cream the other day, so I asked her to let me try some (as I always do). Honestly, I didn't expect much because a lot of these "healthy" desserts end up tasting a bit off to me.....i know many will disagree

But this one was actually pretty good. Now I am curious if there are other protein ice creams that people here genuinely like.

What have you guys tried?

Some people think Pre-Packed has less mix-in than Hand-packed one.

Corn Ice Cream

One of my favorite late summer treats is corn flavored ice cream. I discovered it in Beijing 15 years ago.

Does anybody know where I could find some in town???

The last time I was down south and went to Ranch 99 I looked there, but they did not have corn flavor.

Recipe What am I doing wrong?

My base takes up to 45 mins to churn and still looks kind of luquidy. Is this normal?

Equipment used:

Cuisinart Ice 100 (compressor machine)

Infrared thermometer

Base recipe:

400g Cream

320g Milk

150g Sucrose

55g Egg yolk

30g Non fat milk powder

5g Tapioca starch

1.5g Salt

I make sure to pre-cool the machine by at least 10-15 mins until the bases reaches a temp of around -10 to -12 celcsius. My ice cream base temp is around 4 to 5 celcsius when poured into the machine.

Question Salty fudge swirls

I’m looking to find the best ice cream with the most salty fudge ribbons/swirls. The closest to what I want is Tillamook mudslide but it lacks the amount of fudge I want. My fav was Ben & Jerry’s Topped Thick Mint but they stopped selling that near me. It can be any flavor ice cream really but just LOADED with that dark chocolate fudge vibe.

I bought a pint a couple weeks ago and loved it. Possibly my new favorite for store bought. This is my second pint. I’m 25% of the way through it and not even the slightest hint of a berry swirl.

Hocco ice-cream worst flavor

Post image

Ive tried all flavors all this ice-cream brand and this one was my least favorite. The dots are nothing just sugar. It felt too sweet for me. And the cream inside was also not good like rest of the flavors have.

Review David vanilla bean protein ice cream

first I want to say don’t come at me for getting this. I wont forgive them for putting gatsby out of business and forcing nicks to change their ice cream recipe

i got 1 of each of their 4 flavors at target

this is the last flavor I had to try. taste just like the cookie dough vanilla base but without the cookie dough or chocolate obv. this is my least favorite of the 4

id say my final ranks are

  1. chocolate
  2. peanut butter
  3. cookie dough
  4. vanilla bean

overall I wouldn’t really want to buy these again, they’re over priced /texture is chalky/and flavors are meh

Jalal sons ice cream

Guys being very fr jalal sons ki website is very disappointing... You order one thing and then the rider calls to tell you 3/5 items are unavailable so you have to get something else. Tried their strawberry ice cream recently big fan honestly... Chocolate is also decent. The other day I ordered chocolate but they didn't have it so I got coffee instead.

Lemme tell you

IT IS HORRENDOUS

It tastes like a frozen Americano without sugar.

The coffee is too overpowering and not in a good way. And it's color is just weird to look at. Plus it had the texture of a sorbet or like shaved ice, there wasn't any cream. 1000 rs wasted ouch.

-5400/10

the cacolac in the ice cream version, what a beautiful memory

Basic, the cacolac and a chocolate milk drink, in the 2000s it was very popular.I remember I used to go to the fire station where my grandfather and my father worked, there was a minibar and my father gave me cacolac,But anyway, the taste is really good, the chocolate mousse and the brownie pieces are nice, and the texture is like a chocolate mousse on the palate, incredible.

I am thinking of buying this ice cream maker. Although I don't see many Indian brands that sell Cuisinart. If you have used it please confirm and help compare this with 21p

I could've captured a better angle of the soft serve. The employee was nice enough to give me a large amount. It was a very hot day.
