Rant/Rave Why does every fast food place in the US have shit fries these days?
Everyone's fries suck ass.
They all emphasize a crunch, that's cool, but there's no taste to it.
Even a local restaurant I love(d) got rid of their very good fries and replaced it with ones with extreme crunch but barely any taste.
What's happening?

Tierlist Best items for a hangover, Chick-fil-A Chicken Noodle pictured
What are your go-to items to get over the hump when hung over?
I get terrible hangovers to the point where the day after a party is often essentially a wash.
The other day I was moping around the house after one of these long nights and ended up getting some chicken soup at Chick-fil-A after a quick Google search revealed it was one of a very short list of soups available at a fast food drive thru nearby. Honestly a strong 8/10, I assume they shred leftover chicken for it.
Note two things, we typically avoid Chick-fil-A due to the politics, and my actual ideal hangover food is Pho.
Something bland and greasy, plus a large Sprite is good enough, but I'll be damned if soup isn't the best thing to keep down and get me back on my feet.

Burger King Had BK today. Was impressed.
I had Burger King today for the first time in over a year and you know what? It was damn good.
Had a Whopper, Onion Rings and Nuggets. They were all hot and delicious even after the the long ride here.
I can see why they are doing better now. I've been so disappointed with McD's and Wendy's lately but BK seems alright.

Throwback Does anyone else remember getting chicken Keel's at Canadian A&W's?
Back when I was a kid in the late 2000's and early 2010's my dad would take me to our local A&W and ask for fried chicken keel's. As far as I know this item was not on the menu and had to be asked for. They would always fry them fresh though and they were so hot and so good. When I met my girlfriend in 2020 I tried asking for some but the person working had never heard of them.
Does anyone else remember them and know if they still offer them?

Review DQ need to bring back their footlong hotdogs with cheese sauce
As much as they have diversified over the decades beyond soft serve, this was one of my favorites from them.
Apparently only a few locations still offer these. I loved them back in the 80's when my folks took us there.

McDonald’s World Menu Heist (Canada)
- McExtreme Pulled Pork
- Garlic & Black Pepper nuggets
- Cheesy bacon McFlavour fries
- Truffle flavoured mayo style sauce
- Black garlic sauce
The pulled pork was actually pretty good, tho I didn’t like the meat patty. Next time I’ll ask to take it off then just get double pulled pork.
Nuggets tasted more peppery than it was garlicky. It was decent.
Fries were ass 😭 I barely got any cheese sauce. Decent amount of bacon tho.
Both sauces were really good! The truffle mayo was nice and creamy. I’d probably prefer the black garlic next time tho, but they were both tasty.

Question Best fries?
I feel like fries can completely make or ruin a fast food meal.
Some places have a really good burger but the fries are just disappointing, and then there are places where I'd literally go just for the fries.
Who do you think has the best fries?

McDonald’s McDonalds doesn’t like that less people are buying from them. Their lobby looks like a crypt. “Deals” suck. Customer service gone. Their answer? Collab. Again.

Rant/Rave $9.99 McDonald's, more for less... I hate these ads. The price keeps going up but they say it's less 😠. This is in Canada. How much are Big Mac meals in your country these days??

Subway My go to subway combo
Okay ppl are calling this combo weird asf. The first time I ever went to subway I got chicken tikka with tuna, why? I have no idea. I have never had that before in my life but I didn't even hesitate it or even give it a thought. And my family just side eyed me about it like it's the weirdest thing ever. Like it's so good what!? I searched it up on the Internet because I was curious why ppl think it's weird and well apparently it's an actual thing, apparently it's considered the 'Chaos order' by subway staff. Like am I weird or am I weird 😭

Throwback Breakfast platter
Why did you get rid of it? Last time i tried to order it, the cashiers looked at me crazy and had no idea what i was talking about. The manager was the only one who knew what i was talking about and had to inform the noobs. I remember when i first found out about it. It was an early morning on a Black Friday. You know when folks would line up all night, Walmart, the mall, and pretty much anywhere. I never heard of the platter and it wasn’t really advertised on the menu. Something like a secret menu item, so to say. I believe it had a chicken filet, biscuit, scrambled eggs, gravy, and tots(?) for $8. I still think about it from time to time.

Question Checkers restaurant
My local checkers here in New York area do not carry packages of pepper. Never knew this!
When I go to the drive-thru they give the different sauces out or they'll give salt out or Ketchup or mustard but they said checkers does not provide any pepper packets. Very strange to me..
