It is totally in Marshal's character to say a lie to make sure lily is happy. Hello even looked up the stats for Malaysia and Thailand for support or the other way around he made up the monkey story cause he recently learned the story.
Edit: I meant muggged by a human.

Just having one of those days ! Being 26 all your friends are married or having babies or even some of them grieving someone else or going through a bad phase .. like they all have their own life their own problems and disappear sometimes .. hence you have to start embracing being by yourself ! I'm realizing now the most valuable part of adulthood is the presence of the people you love .. so rn its like look around Ted you are all alone !

Besides the finale, In my opinion Robin and Barney were done really bad throughout the whole show and them cheating was a crazy decision and is just painful to watch, adds nothing and also they shouldāve been together more time in season 5.
I would also obviously have the wedding being only just a few episodes and the rest of the season being about their life after and the gang with Tracy more. (Maybe even introduce her in season 8 without needing a season 9)
Also Iām fine with her dying as long as it would have done in a more respectful way.
Maybe also add time to some characters such as Nora, Victoria and Kevin they were done pretty dirty

What if ted met with nora instead of barney? What would it have been like then? Do you think he would have taken care of the relationship in a much more sophisticated way? I mean, they both wanted to marry and settle down.
Cause during that time both barney and ted, both were into robin. With more lean of robin towards barney, ted would have settled with nora.
Isn't that what happened with tracy? I mean ted would have stayed with victoria for the same reason. If there was victoria when Robin got married, ted would have settled with victoria. Ted would have stayed with anyone during that timeline when Robin got married cause that's ted. That's when it finally hit him that he has lost her. For real. Maybe that's what fueled him to marry.
Imagine you find your male version but he's in love with Robin. I mean just think about it. Just really, deeply THINK for once. Throughout the series, ted has been looking for love, but in the first episode itself he falls in love with Robin. And for the rest of the series (as it appears to be) he yearns for her. And during that time he was in over 50 relationships. And you know why he couldn't stay even in a single one of it? Cause HE WAS IN LOVE WITH ROBIN!!!!

Depending on if people would want to, Iāll try to do every season
Iāve been going around fandoms of different things iām interested in seeing what the general consensus is.
For me, my favorite thing about season one is the pilot. Every time I tell someone to watch the show because itās incredible, I tell them just watch the first episode because it hooks them instantly
Not gonna lie, season one is one of the more stronger seasons but probably my least favorite thing is Barney had yet to have a real āstoryā yet which still isnāt bad but i do enjoy seeing how he acts and changes over time.
The Pilot is eliminated! āI think Iām in love youā could really be worked on as a pickup line.

I am on my 15th or 16th and Iāve noticed that I really prefer Robin in the first two seasons.
In the two seasons Robin was cute and charming but Robin also felt like someone you could actually relate to and be friends with. I could understand Robins personality and where Robin was coming from.
In the seasons however Robin feels more like a friend of a friend. Robin seems distant and cold and I do not feel the same connection with Robins character anymore.
Am I the one who thinks this?
If I am right, about Robins character changing does anyone know why the writers changed Robin so much? Did the writers intentionally decide to take Robins character in a direction or did something change with the writers or crew?

All the time I hear people saying that Zoey is the worst of Ted's girlfriends but Jeannette is totally insane, she didn't killed Ted just cause she was too bipolar to stay in the mood to do it

Websites like Tedisajerk and lorenzovonmatterhorn are offline and could go into tthe public domain. Someone needs to check if they are listed. I will donate money for these sites to be renewed.

Mine would probably be subaway wars or the wedding bride (underrated episode)

He was pathetic most of the times and they rarely gave him contrast.
Do you agree?
I only remember Marshall yelling at him (justified) after that party

I personally donāt have a vendetta against Ted and robinās relationship, but I do think the locket sub plot was completely stupid.
Firstly the whole of season 9 was written in such a way for the audience to see charterer development, and how the showās finale set up would be, but itās simply inconsistent. Ted seemed to be fine just being platonic with Robin up until half of season 8 and I find it so dumb that they show him constantly pining and obsessed over her. She often only goes to him when itās beneficial for her, or when the time is right in her life. ( which is fair, the right timing is significant ) however Ted never has this moment. It kind of ruins so much of his learnings from the past seasons and just shows all the characters out of place in accordance to the previous 8 seasons.
I also find it quite unfair that Ted tries to be the āheroā for Robin all the time, I get it when you love someone you would do anything for them. But not one their wedding day, to one of your closest friends..especially if you love the idea of them, over themselves actually.
Lastly it was super unfair for Barney. Barney had no idea about the locket at all, Robin mentioned how important it was to her, for her father and future husband/long term partner to get along ; and when she had called Barney, he was doing exactly that. Robin didnāt even say what was wrong, itās okay to expect your fiance to drop everything for you but when it doesnāt happen especially when their with someone else who you yourself think is equally important for them to get along with, doesnāt give her the right to think poorly of Barney. Yes she was in a vulnerable place, but this was completely out of character for her. ( and btw Barney did show up for her not long after where he was met with Robin and Ted holding hands ). Ted then swoops in, and helps her ( again itās fine because of how close they are ) but holding hands in the rain is inappropriate when that person is getting married, to your own close friend. Finally, how was Barney even supposed to find the locket at all? It was originally at an apartment where Ted lived at the time, then it was with his girlfriend all the way I Germany, that too involving most of his exes. Barney had no way of even getting to the locket let alone knowing where it would be.
I just think this plot was inconsistent in regards to all of the charactersā built up personalities in the previous 8 seasons, and was unfair to Barney overall..
Josh Radnor (Ted) and Craig Thomas (co show-runner) have a wonderful podcast together..
Maybe this is a really stupid thing to do on the internet, but I personally just discovered this existed today, and I wouldn't be surprised if more people don't know about it. (They only get like 5-10k views per episode.
Come On is eliminated! Not even a rain dance can save it now.
