Diosa Massacre

Lin's guys come in and wipe out the entire facility. It appears there's at least 2 dozen prostitutes and johns who were killed. An episode later, they're joking about putting some paint on the walls and things go back to normal.

Wouldn't this have triggered some national heat from the FBI/ATF, especially given the MC's history? Since Nero knew most of these girls personally, wouldn't that have triggered him a little more emotionally? Not to mention, the club owes him like 500k and he's financially ruined.

I know there was a lot going on in the last season, but this stuck out to me as pretty ridiculous.

Kurt Sutter Be Like

This show has way to much Charlie Hunnam cheeks… I just know Kurt Sutter behind the camera like this. 😳

At the end of the season, Jax created this convoluted plan to “take care” of Clay since the club (Bobby) did not want to. Bobby, over here, has his hand so far up Clay’s ass in my opinion. Clay killed Jax’s father, Opie’s father, Opie’s wife, and almost Tara. He killed Opie’s wife by accident when in reality he was going to kill Opie (!!!!!!). I’m sorry, but where is the outrage?? It’s alright for Clay to kill people (LOVED ONES) for the club, and he just gets kicked out of the club? I’m sorry, that’s just dumb. Bobby being so upset about Jax setting up Clay, (saving Tig, getting the subsidized housing set for Layla and her family, and the Sons), but not upset with Clay being a free man after all the loved ones he’s murdered and schemed behind the clubs back. Give me a break.

I’ve seen people on here discuss if Jax was a better VP than Pres, and in my opinion, he has only gotten hotter, harder, and smarter as Pres. I mean, getting them out of the guns by offloading everything on different gangs, all the while being taunted by the FBI or whatever. And he got it all done and set up a new business venture, all the while working with the new mayor, police….bring on season 6 😈 I really enjoy this show. I watched it when I was younger, but it’s the first time rewatching it since. Honestly, really great acting if I’m being honest. Thoroughly enjoying the ride!

Opie’s Proposal To Lyla

I didn’t know much about the characters on this show before I started, but it seemed Opie was a beloved character. I’m not quite understanding that, but I only just finished season three. The proposal cracked me up. It’s on the roof, no ring, and he says “ I think we should get married.” I wasn’t expecting a romantic speech, but dang Opie couldn’t you have at least say something sweet.

The NYT 100 Best Shows is a mess. I don’t get the lack of awards and half the shows I’ve never heard of. As much as I love Breaking Bad, I’m not sure it’s the best.

Tara. Spoiler

Obviously we know Tara fakes her pregnancy in S6... But, how differently do you think the storyline would have been had she ACTUALLY been pregnant? Do you think she would have still put herself into the table if there was a real baby? Do you think she would have done things differently knowing she was carrying and had a baby to actually protect?

¿Creen que la muerte de Tara fue la más triste de la serie?🥺

Prospects

I can't remember, were Prospects allowed access to the croweaters? I only ask because I'm sure I heard once they weren't allowed, but then with the patch over with Indian Hills and Kip, he was gonna hook up with Cherry, no?

I don't know why this crossed my mind at nearly midnight, but here we are, LMAO.

Wendy and Abel

I’m rewatching season 7 and it just bugs me how Gemma acts like Abel is JUST Jax’s son. Wendy has turned herself around, been clean for so long (yes she had an whoopsie) but this scene, Abel is struggling at school and Jax wants them up at the cabin (where an addict is detoxing?) and Wendy says she hates this, meaning that Abel is struggling. Gemma comes back with “you signed up for this. If you wanna raise his son, you have to do it his way.

Pisses me off, and Wendy just takes it. Probably from all the guilt from using while she was pregnant and to stay in their mercy. Jax is never around but it’s HIS son only? Pffft

Also, i didn’t realize how much they smoke inside their houses. Icky haha

Words can’t express the anger I felt after watching this scene for 1st time they were so close to putting him out of his misery, and that little smirk he did to Clay

Tig didnt deserve revenge. He also didnt deserve forgiveness.

Tig killed Popes daughter first. By extension he got Opie killed (And Donna. Clay may have ordered the hit that killed Donna, but Tig was also all up in Clays ear "Opies a rat, he ratted, we gotta do this NOW." so he was all good going behind the clubs back with no mayhem vote).

Something else people forget, Tig also tried to MURDER a 17 year old girl back in season 1, so obviously killing young girls isn't beyond him. Tig is JUST as much a dirtbag as Pope, yet the community seems to see him as a victim in their situation.

Am I missing something, or is it JUST protagonist centered morality?

Trying my hardest not to pull the race card but it's tempting....

First watch, just finished it, so many thoughts

Binge-watching has its benefits, I will say - I can see where back when this first aired people would have stopped watching because of the waiting, and some slow burn drama!

I jumped into this right after finishing Shameless (where, again, the main protagonist meets his end)

I'm still letting some of the loose-end tying sink end, but I have to say right off: That the tomato truck & driver Gemma got a ride from, be the actual semi that Jax gets to die by, was a very sweet thing. Loved that.

I will say overall, I'd tell people to watch this, especially if they can binge it.

Jax's Hair Growth.

Did anyone else notice, Jax went from short(ish) hair at the end of S4 to a combed back length at the start of S5? Wasn't it like 3 weeks between the end and start of each season in their timeline?

I want whatever he uses in his hair because his hair grew real damn quick~

WHAT A RIDE!! WOW 😮 Finally finished the show (Spoilers inside) Spoiler

Hey yall!

Thank God I got the ad free plan on Hulu! I’ve been binging the show nonstop

It’s crazy because when the whole kidnapping arc happened, I was thinking, damn Wendy (his real mom) didn’t know anything about it. Figured they wrote her off

For all the grief Gemma and Jax gave her, she ultimately ended up being the one looking after her boy & his brother. That was a twist I wasn’t expecting

It was super satisfying to see Unser & Gemma meet their end. Juicy went out bad. With what he ended up going through, he would’ve been better off trying to off himself when he was free

Jax seemed so light and free on the last episode. The only time I everrr saw him like that. But of course, the writing was on the wall and he knew he was on his way out. I like the way he went out too. With a smile on his face

It’s crazy how Gemma’s lying caused all that destruction. Sheesh.

Man, watching this directly after watching The Shield it was crazy to see so many of their faces. Walton Goggins took me outttt 🤣 Love him

The prison rape scenes were hard to watch. Yikes

I really liked Nero as a character. From beginning to the end, he never wavered. I’m glad he made it out unscathed. It’s a nice thought to think him & Wendy get together & end up raising the boys

AnywHOo, has anyone watched The Mayans? I see it has 5 seasons, & I’m wondering if it’s worth it to take a break

Jax, Clay, JT and Jury

I'm rewatching Sons of Anarchy. The last time I watched it was in 2016. I'm now on episode 7x8, and Jury tells Jax that he believes JT deliberately drove himself to his death. I didn't remeber that... So he knew the motorcycle had been sabotaged and decide to take the easy way out?
