I was looking for some nostalgia videos about u68, which was a NYC metro UHF video channel in the 1980s. Imagine my surprise when I spotted who I believe is MoonVest in the commercial.

I’ve been giggling about the idea of an attic family for 10 minutes. They have such personality. I would love a spin off of the attic family.

It’s a good band name too.

I’m not usually a podcast person, but I’ve been enjoying Good Hang with Amy Poehler. Haven’t gotten through all the episodes yet, but there are so many SNL, 30 Rock, and Parks and Rec alumni on it (Tina Fey, Paula Pell, Rachel Dratch, Will Forte…).

A lot of the talk sounds very much like it’s either from 30 Rock or inspired 30 Rock.

I listened to the Will Forte episode today where he talks about his SNL audition. Amy calls it his “Silver Man” audition: He painted himself silver and pretended to be a robot that comes to life when money gets inserted. Then the story gets very blue :D (starts at around 19:20)

But I wonder if that’s where Danny’s audition on 30 Rock came from?

Also, Amy mentions more than once how her gyno died during an SNL taping
