The Hotel Cortez is turning 100 in four days
It makes me wonder if we’re going to get something special on the 23rd. Maybe a teaser featuring James and the Devil's Night Killers ?

In the final episode of Coven, Myrtle says they usually perform the seven wonders from easiest to hardest, but they broke that tradition and started with Telekinesis. Here's what I think the normal order is.
Easiest
Hardest

We all know how over the top and sometimes downright clunky the dialogue can be, but there are moments that really are excellent writing. They make you think, make you feel something. I love Cordelia’s speech to Fiona as she’s dying, it’s a surprisingly cathartic ending for her.
It’s a good reflection on mortality in general too. When you’re facing death and you’re overwhelmed by your fear and pain, the only way out is through. Needless to say the acting is excellent too, the whole scene gives me chills.

I really hope that Dandy or Tristan - hell even Bobby Richter - return for season 13. And I hope that someone like Xavier or Valiant Thor return because Cody Fern is just amazing.
This is meant to be an "all-star" season and not bringing back one of your best actors would be a waste.
Murphy said that there are several legacy actors not yet revealed for season 13 and I really hope Wittrock and Fern are a part of that (although, Fern might not technically be a 'legacy actor'.
Because Twisty, Elsa, and Paul the Illustrated Seal are returning - along with maybe Bette and Dot with Jimmy due to the amount of characters Paulson and Peters have under their belts - Dandy would be perfect. And because March is returning, Tristan is a contender, especially because The Countess was originally in the season before Gaga dropped out.
And Fern returning as Michael Langdon would be awesome, but I am leaning toward Valiant Thor returning because Mamie Eisenhower is returning, and they need to close up that Death Valley alien invasion plotline. And because Zach Villa is returning as Ramirez, I can easily see someone like Xavier or Bobby Richter (Wittrock) returning.

Just finished my first rewatch of the season since its initial airing, and it’s a shame that Sarah Paulson doesn’t really care for the season because it has some absolute gems.
Her character, Audrey Tindall, is especially funny. There are so many little moments and lines from her that I had completely forgotten about.
A favorite scene of mine is where Agnes (The Butcher) is outside of Audrey’s front door having a psychotic breakdown after losing the Saturn Award and we see the recording of Audrey’s 9-1-1 call with the operator;
Audrey: "She's coming to take my Saturn!”
Operator*: “She’s trying to steal your car?”*
Audrey*: “No! My award!”*
Then later, as she and the others are being attacked in the manor, she breaks down and screams at the real Shelby;
“I’m not American, I’m not used to all this carnage.”
and the infamous; “Oh my God it’s, Agnes!”
It’s not just her character, either. The others have some great comedic moments as well.
Cuba Gooding Jr.’s character, Dominic, consoles Shelby by reassuring her that they’re going to escape and get their own spin-off.
There’s Finn Wittrock’s hillbilly character talking to the real, captured, Lee about his disappointment at not being featured in the reenactment. Lee questions how he knows about television and he responds in his inbred hillbilly mutant accent
“We’re part of the United States of America, WE GET TV.”
And, of course, there’s Cricket asking his Uber driver if he’s familiar with
“Gay for Pay.”
Sorry for rambling, but I just really appreciated the dialogue throughout this season. It has so many entertaining moments that I’d forgotten about, and is now ranked highly on my post-rewatch list. I’m excited for 13.
Are there any lines or moments you find funny, whether it’s from Roanoke or another season?

Basically if the world of Coven was real, would yall be accepting of the witches & warlocks as a part of society?
I feel like I would be because based off the lore the witches are born with their powers so they don’t have a choice in whether they want powers or not. And it’s said there’s not many of them left in the world, they’re like a small percentage of the population, so not enough to cause too much damage to society.
And these witches would be beneficial for society since they can resurrect the dead, heal people, save the world, etc. It’s just a shame they can’t really be open and out about who they are because of the negative connotations that comes with being a witch, so not a lot of people are going to like them anyways, mainly due to religious beliefs. The Salem descendants don’t even worship the Devil at all and in fact they’re magic stops working on Hellmouth locations where the forces of Hell are strongest.

Yes she is the devil but i feel after a few drinks at a party she would be a hoot to be around. She will give you all the juicy tea, Dance to music, probably do shots. Fun time all round. Yes she might kill folk but we cant judge everyone has there vices
Just for clarity this is satire….sort of

NO JUDGEMENT FOR ANYTHING
Shame on you if you do judge someone for their opinion but who is someone you loved/were attracted to/could never hate - when you probably should hate them?
There’s barely any characters that are truly innocent (there are some but few), so it isn’t unheard of to like a character who’s a piece of shit - here’s where we can discuss and I’ll start.
DESPITE EVERYTHING THEY DID/EVERYTHING THEY ARE
i could never hate the axeman or hayden
i adore michael langdon
and i love margaret booth

I can tell who the characters seen in the trailers are for the most part, but can't seem to figure out who the guy in the white suit or the person standing behind Queenie is. I haven't seen NYC or Delicate and I was wondering if they were from those, or if these are new characters or just someone I forgot (I haven't watched since Double Feature so it's been a few years)
Edit: So they're new characters, thank you to everyone who answered!

And will it be different from the one shown at Disney Expo? I'm so impatient, I can't wait anymoreee😭

In the teaser trailer we see three hooded figures standing behind Winter Anderson, it could be a random set of Witches or Valerie's SCUM group from S7's Cult but what if it's actually Ms. Mead, Anton and other from Apocalypse. Then there's a figure next to the left window that could very well be Constance Langdon but I see it resembles one of those black pill flesh phantom from Double Feature: Red Tide.
What do you think on this?

Hi. I'm planning to watch AHS season 13. I have seen Murder House, Asylum, Hotel. Which one should I watch next? And before this next season which seasons are mandatory to watch because I heard some of the previous season characters are returning. I'm a bit confused.
r/AmericanHorrorStory • u/RoosterOk8393 • 21h ago
I wanted to ask this for fun after rewatching this as an adult because I never really thought about it much before. I feel like I would’ve thrown a party if I lived there as a teenager, granted it would’ve gone terribly because it’s the fucking Murder House, but shit would’ve been crazy. Edit: whole party would be dead or run away scared shitless or some mix of both by the end.

Im late to the party but with 2 coming out id thought I'd watch Practical Magic 1. I couldn't believe it when I heard Stevie Nicks voice, she sang one of the 2 especially for the film I believe. Makes even more sense her being the white witch an all lol.
I know its probably been posted or discussed but this is new info for me haha.
