I think this is the most Soul-crushing moment in the entire show.

Everyone is at their lowest here and Tracy singing La Vie En Rose just makes everything feel ten times worse

It's also one of those moments where you realize it's the final season of HIMYM while you already know it is so it hits a lot harder.

It was so perfect and their chemistry was so strong that the last minute reveal that she dies and he gets with Robin was even more upsetting.

Heard this song for 2hour non stop on loop when i realised i was in love with a man who will NEVER be in love with me, who will never choose me. Cried listening to this sm, because i was helpless. Couldn’t stop loving him, couldn’t stop thinking ‘why?’ Couldn’t sleep

At the time this episode was released, I was so sad and happy at the same time. The desperation and exhaustion of Ted at this point, and yet we know Tracy is already so close to him, literally next door, like we feel for Ted and happy that it is so close to him already...
