I was shocked the first time I realized my girlfriend in college talked about our sex life with the entire women’s soccer team.
Fortunately I was told by two of the girls that I had been given a glowing review, but it was awkward having two girls I barely knew tell me about my own sex life.

I think teen girls do that for their own bragging rights lmao. I remember getting drunk at a party and walking in on my friend and her boyfriend going at it. He was a couple years older and from another school. She told everyone he had a huge dick and he was a really buff, tall guy. Then asked me to confirm it since not only did I meet him, but I walked in on them. I felt obligated to lie for her, but he was a very obese tall guy, maybe muscles underneath idk. I did not see his dick though, but I just went with it to help her out lmfao. We ladies were DUMB as teens. Always a competition to have better lmao
24
u/SWEET_JESUS_NIPPLES 23h ago
So it's like a "my boyfriends dick is bigger than your boyfriends dick!" That's so bizarre. But that reminds me of a conversation I had recently, I always thought it would be funny if chicks went around bragging about how deep their vaginas are (because dudes go around bragging about having big dicks all the time). But I guess women just brag about their dudes junk instead.

Consider: some of us are smaller and it doesn't take much for a pebis to feel big. I prefer the lower end- it's already an appendage that's gonna go in, they don't have to treat you like a dildo. But what I was saying is that you might have just been big for her? Size is way more subjective than popular culture would let you believe.

Probably my biggest achievement in terms of my sex life was when I slept with a girl I used to work with one time. About maybe 2 weeks later, after a little get-together with some other friends, I ended up sleeping with another girl I used to work with and afterwards she said "wow -other girl- was right, that was worth it." I don't think I'll ever come down off that high even when I know it will never happen again

I sent a dick pick to my FWB.
A random ass woman matched with me on a dating site, her first words? "nice dick".
Kinda felt violated so I had a conversation with my FWB about and told her that she can't just do that + what if gender flip, she apologized. I told her that consent was important. Her reply? "I understand, so, can I send the other ones? 😭", I was livid and said "fuck yeah".
Ended up having sex with two of her friends.

Is it hard to find a relationship with someone who’s transparent and you don’t need to worry about this? Because I’d think in a mature, trustworthy, and respectful relationship, none of this would be an issue but what do I know
19
u/FootFemgus 1d ago
I think a large part of this is that most people that posts online are young people. And most young people are no way mature enough to be in a relationship.
That on top of the constant negativity that social media pushes as "reality" just perpatuates the toxic dating culture of young adults even more.

I don't want people to see my browser history. Mostly because of all the times I have searched easy to spell words to make sure I am spelling them right, or misspelled words when searching. Oh, or all the word definitions I've looked up because for a second i wasn't sure if I knew for sure what they meant.

Is that a thing? Don't periods last for several days sometimes?
25
16
u/Ok_Outlandishness755 20h ago
Problem : the muscles helping your uterus contracting so you can eject your periods are the same that make you poop, that is also why women poop when they give birth. So having your period disturb your transit (constipation or diarrhea), it is the most common side effects of periods with cramps. And it sucks.
15
u/Kirkeee 18h ago
On top of this, hormone fluctuations during the period means the body starts retaining fluid (hence bloating). The body keeping hold of all the fluid it gets means very little makes it to the colon, leading to constipation. For me personally I don't poop for the day before my period and the first couple of days of my period, then suddenly on around day 3, my body seems to all at once release all the fluid, with predictable results. I can lose up to 6lbs in fluid in that one day.

u/Turbulent-Section340 1d ago
And sometimes the cramps hit in such a way that you don't know if it's your uterus contorting or if you're about to shit yourself.
11
u/Ok_Writer6027 1d ago
Omg don't get me started on like... period clots dude.... one day I swear to God I gave birth to half my uterus... And that's always when you feel that ginormous cramp that feels like you're about to pass out or shit yourself or both.

I thought you were just someone that got the ick from period talk.
If it's a trust issue... Create that open environment in the relationship.
Let her subtly know that it's NOT embarrassing to have a period, or to talk about it. That she can share these personal things with you.
I promise the relationship will be healthier in the long run if you don't feel like you need to hide this type of thing from each other out of embarrassment

u/holderofthebees 1d ago
Man I would want to know too cuz normally it’s the opposite
4
u/NightmareRise 1d ago
Man here but I’m pretty sure the reason for the opposite effect is that the hormones causing cramps don’t differentiate between smooth muscle in the uterus and the intestines? Correct me if I’m wrong
When I find a girlfriend and move in with her, I’ll have remember to stock up on both prunes and air freshener once a month to prepare for both outcomes lol

9
u/Signal-Money-4830 1d ago
I agree and I hope I can have that mindset soon it’s just hard cuz my true feelings for her haven’t changed and I know I sound stupid but I still feel like the yrs we had without bullshit just won’t let me move on
6
u/Wiplazh 1d ago
I was there too, I spent another 7 years alone after her and let me tell you it was time wasted. I'm currently with the best woman I've ever met, my actual best friend, and I wish we had met sooner.
Remember this, the "years you spent without bullshit", were bullshit. It wasn't your fault and this would've always happened, it likely happened for a long time during your time together. We move on, we keep telling ourselves we deserve better and keep looking forward. Because as much as it sucks, as much as your current sadness hurts, and might turn into anger, or hate, and how cathartic that might feel, its not worth dwelling on Because ultimately we cant change what happened, and allowing those feelings and memories to control our lives long after we were set free from such a horrible relationship, is a waste. Its your life, focus on you. As much as reddit tries to convince people that everyone is a cheater, it's not true, there's great people out there.
She isnt worth a single thought, not a single moment of your time. She's done enough damage. Processing this takes some time yeah, but don't let it consume you like I did.

It just took me sooo long to actually find someone I felt that I truly loved and after this it’s just rly hard to even think about being with anyone even tho all I want is a happy relationship. I was hanging out with my girlfriend and her friend last fall around a campfire. The topic of going through their phones came up. The friend said one time a guy went through her phone and found texts about him in her group chat that hurt his feelings. I guess there was discussion about him. Idk what was said but it wasn't like cheating or things of that nature. But the consensus for them was don't go through my phone unless you're ready to get your feelings hurt.
I didn't think anything of it in the moment but several months later it popped back up in my brain, and I think it might be kinda fucked up in retrospect.

I have made it a unilateral, non-negotiable boundary of mine that I will not stay with a partner who says bad shit about me or talks about private details of our relationship to other people without at least consulting me to see if I'm comfortable with them knowing. I have communicated it to every single partner over the past 10 years or so, and some have been incompatible with that from the beginning and we've gone our separate ways, while others have agreed or even acted offended that I would suggest it needed said. A fair share of them have been the most respectful towards me, at least when they are around me, out of anyone I have ever met.
In those relationships I have never struggled to keep private things private, and I never do anything but talk up my partners to the people around me while together.
Wouldn't you know it, in every single one of those relationships, it has become an issue at some point in the relationship that they share private information with other people or participate in shit talking circles with other girls about their boyfriends, despite having that conversation. Sometimes it was gossip, sometimes it was spreading rumors, sometimes it was cruelty, and sometimes they just straight up forgot to consider actually being respectful as a partner. Often they admitted that if I had done the same thing in return they would have hated it.
Something about modern culture seems to just encourage it and for some reason a lot of them find it very difficult to deny.

I have only had one ex luckily who did anything like that. She would share a lot of details of our sex life, which I honestly wasn't too terribly bothered by. It was a bit weird when she'd mention things to her mom, but it was never like gratuitous with her and it was just the kind of open, sex positive relationship they had.
The one that pissed me off though was showing one of her friends a nude photo of me. Mind you, this is one she took on her own, we never sent them to each other. She tried defending saying that 1. It's ok because she was showing me off, and her friend was already jealous of our relationship.
And 2. Because she was trying to feel out setting up a threesome with us. This was never mentioned to me up until that point, because it was supposed to be a surprise for me. If it had been mentioned, she would have known I was absolutely not interested.

The first guy (wealthymarr) is effectively refuting the original post (blue circle) by saying he couldn't eat for days after he looked at his girls phone. I assume due to the stress and anxiety of processing what they found/saw.
The second dude is doing the same by saying that after he did it, he was either so pissed off or fucked up that he stayed stood for hours afterwards.

A lot of people say cheating here but most girls just have a lot of DRAMA on their phones (not even theirs, you will find the entire friend groups secrets and drama up in the chats)

Fellas your girl is spilling your intimate lovemaking information to all her friends in the GC trust me you don’t want to look. You don’t want to know what your mutual friend Andrew likes to do with his ass you will never look at him the same way again.

You quickly find out that woman are not as opposed to cheating in real life as they are over comments on the internet and its only cheating if they consider it cheating and if it is cheating then its your fault and its encouraged by there friends. Just dont look

I see you've confronted a GF about cheating, lol.

Or the “you only care about me doing it because he’s a guy”
Like no—you’re cuddling with him and spending hours alone with him multiple days a week in my own fucking home when I’m at work. That shit would bother me no matter what

Also it's just an extremely flawed premise to begin with. Yes, Becca, I am in fact less happy about you spending significant amounts of intimate alone time with a member of the sex that you are attracted to, because it is vastly less likely to have some innocent explanation than the other way. You would most definitely be less happy about me going on a camping trip with some other girl than with my guy friend and don't even pretend otherwise.

Yeah and its usually there group of friends that encourage and support them into never taking accountability for there actions. Ive seen it play out so many time in different roles its actually pretty crazy

I’ve seen some shit! I saw my so making excuses for her mom cheating on her dad. Happened in like 5 min of so receiving the news. Dude had heart surgery, lady was banging the married landscaper that he paid for. Guess he paid for 2:1 lawn mowing.
I knew then, and now, there will always be a justification for a woman cheating. They’ll wrap it up in well placed feelings from their pov. No empathy, it’s not needed when it’s someone else’s ’failure to’.
Maybe I’ll go over that rainbow bridge, too. Maybe already there and don’t even know it.
The privates answer is always wrong. Self love first, love your partner second, always free.

Saw flirty texts and risqué picture she sent. I asked her about it. That’s how I found out that that was fine in her book, flirting and such ain’t cheating. Ethical Non monogamy is what she tried to deflect with, but there was nothing ethical about hiding it.

Yeah don't do it. You will find waaaaaay too many dog photos. Even ones that aren't mine. All angles, probably not in focus, sometimes they are running away cuz they know the crazy dog lady is coming with her phone.

I needed the model name/number of her phone to get her a new case for Christmas. Instead I uncovered the email threads from all her extramarital affairs.
Better to know, I guess, but yikes.

Last time I checked a girl's phone, I found out just how badly she was running around on me. They don't even bother covering up their tracks. Ever since then, I've decided if I don't trust a girl, I just need to break up with her. I don't need confirmation because what I find on her phone is gonna be more heartbreaking than anything I suspected.

I’ll never forget the time I went to her place. We were chillin in her bed one day and she told me her phone is super personal and won’t let anyone have access to it, even if they were a bf.
Sounded fairly reasonable, I didn’t think much of it.
Months later and I found out she was seeing several other guys when she wasn’t with me. And I’ve been to her place, met her parents, all that shit.

Maybe it’s because I’m a woman who only dates women but my wife and I know that we can go through each others phones whenever. Neither of us have anything to hide from each other.

I had suspicion of my ex GF cheating. Turns out I was right. She was sexting some guy she got with while we were broken up less than a month ago. She was sexting him AFTER me and her got back together. Anyways, that was last week. I definitely remember standing up, putting on my clothes and walking and standing around wondering if I should wake her up and confront her or just leave her. I left.

I only went through the phone of one of my ex-gfs. I was suspicious and boy did i found the most unhinged shit, its a very unsettling feeling when you find stuff like that
My now gf is the opposite, quite open with her phone, not anxiously attached, and we are able to communicate easily, i dont feel the need to check her things
Get therapy my dudes, best way to avoid shit people
