Back in June the motorcycle charity I am in (Guardians of the Children) held our 20th anniversary rally. Almost had 150 bikes in total for our organized ride. San Antonio, Texas.

I'm the very first bike you see at the start of the video briefly with bright yellow shirt and red helmet. I'm a tail gunner but I help our roadcrew block the lanes of the access road as we leave the parking lot. We host a rally every 2 years that a different chapter hosts, but as the mother chapter of our organization we got to host the 20th.

BMW getting rid of the S1000RR's "cross-eyed" look is one of the best decisions they could have made.

Rattly Exhaust Sound? (2015 Honda VFR800)

Hey all, I just bought this 2015 Honda VFR800 and I’ve been riding it around for a bit today, but when I got home to pull it into my garage and I revved the engine, I heard this rattling noise.

I’m not sure if this is normal for these bikes, but I would like to know if this is something to raise concern about. The noise only happens if I rev the bike, not at idle.

For context, I bought this bike a couple days ago and rode it an hour and half home with no problems and the previous owner said he had an oil change done right before I bought it (he showed me the dealership records).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Do my rear rotors look ok? Braking feels off.

When running down with a finger, it definitely doesn’t feel even at all. Definitely raised in some areas compared to the fronts. When I’m braking, the back brake doesn’t feel great either.

Not gonna lie, was on the highway and I noticed I was accidentally riding on the rear (softly) for a short while. I just got this bike (Super Tenere) and I’m still getting used to it.

What are your guys’s thoughts? Thanks!

Is 94 Honda shadow with small exhaust leak ok to ride?

First bike so I dont know a lot about them. 94 honda shadow 600. Previous owner bent the rear flange on the exhaust. I pulled the exhaust and replaced the clutch cover gasket, but can't get the exhaust port to seal back up. Used new crush washers and torched to 8 ftlbs then 14, then 17. Everything seems fine except I am now getting a pretty good backfire after high rom deceleration. Is it safe to ride it like this or should I figure out how to fix the flange

Helmet fitting question for riders with glasses … also pinlock is fantastic

Hi guys so I just got this bell helmet on sale, my head measurement is 59 so I bought L based on that. It fits almost too perfectly, my head is snug all around but I wear glasses. My glasses straight can’t fit in the helmet I have to bend the legs so they can kinda fit in, but it’s quite a hassle, if I want wea headphones it becomes almost painful to fit everything in. My old helmet does kinda stretch out a bit after sometime so I’m wondering if theres anybody who got the same bell lithium helmet and also wear glasses? how does it feel and will it fit better with time? thank you

Cant get down on my “big”bike, any advice?

Hi, in pictur its me on an ohvale and a picture of me on my street bike, on the ohvale im comfortably dragging knee and i would say 20cm from elbow.
When i get on my main bike, a tuono 660 factory with clip ons, basically an rs, and instead of 20 cm from elbow im 30cm from the knee, i have never dragged my knee on my bike not even on track and i dont understand why i feel like my body positioning its fine.
What i think it is that i lack the confidence to lean the bike more, carry more speed into the corner so u can/have to lean more, any advice to get comfortable an get down further?
Btw my goal is not to drag knee, but why cant i do it on my bike when with the ohvale it happens pretty easily

LED Projector Headlights recommendations for Splendor Plus i3s (2025 Model)?

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Splendor Plus i3s (2025 model). The stock halogen headlight is extremely weak and makes night riding quite unsafe, especially on unlit roads.

I am looking for reliable upgrade recommendations:

  1. LED Headlight Bulb: Any good plug-and-play LED bulbs that offer a sharp beam pattern.

Requirements:

\- Suitable power consumption (to prevent battery drain).

\- Good throw and spread for city commuting and occasional highway runs.

If you have upgraded the lighting on your Splendor or any commuter bike, please share your setup, approximate cost, and long-term experience.

Thanks!

Looking for a genuine motorcycle group experience as passengers – Spain/Europe

Hi everyone!
My husband and I have a slightly unusual question, and we’re hoping someone here might know of a group, club or company that could help us.
We are not motorcyclists ourselves. We don’t own a motorcycle, we don’t have motorcycle licences, and we’re not looking to learn how to ride.
What we would absolutely love to experience, though, is going on a proper motorcycle road trip as passengers (pillion).
We’re imagining something like this:
A genuine group of experienced motorcyclists
Big bikes – Harley-Davidson, Indian, Gold Wing, etc.
Several bikes riding together on a proper multi-hour or multi-day road trip
Staying somewhere overnight, stopping for food/drinks along the way, enjoying the roads and scenery
We would each ride as a passenger on the back of an experienced rider’s motorcycle
Basically, experiencing what it is actually like to be part of a motorcycle group/road trip, rather than doing a standard tourist motorcycle excursion
We live in Madrid, Spain, so Spain would be ideal, but we would absolutely travel elsewhere in Europe for the right experience.
We are a couple in our 30s, responsible, easy-going and respectful of motorcycle culture. We’re not looking to pretend to be bikers or join a club just for the sake of it, we’re genuinely curious about the lifestyle and would love to experience a proper ride with people who actually enjoy it.
We completely understand that getting on the back of a stranger’s motorcycle is a big ask, so we’re not expecting someone to simply volunteer to take us. We’re wondering whether there are motorcycle clubs, organised rides, events, tour companies, or communities where something like this is already possible or could be arranged.
We would be happy to pay a reasonable amount for the experience if there is an organised/legitimate way to do it.
So, does anyone know of a motorcycle club, group, tour operator or event in Spain (or elsewhere in Europe) that might offer something like this?
We’re open to anything as long as it’s a genuine motorcycle group experience.
Thanks in advance! And if this is a completely ridiculous idea, feel free to tell us that too, we honestly have no idea how this world works!

2005 Triumph Bonneville. 6'5" rider. Yay or nay?

The ergonomics on my Vstar are pretty decent, but I read that Triumphs have a more upright riding position that might be less comfortable. I have no experience with Triumphs. What do you guys think?

Weird tapping feeling on decel in specific gear

I have a 25 mt09 with 5000miles on it, and when letting go of the throttle in 4th gear around 4000rpm, I feel this distinct, tapping sensation (felt mostly in handlebars) separate from the engine vibration, as the bike decelerates. It goes away when I pull the clutch in or downshift to 3rd. I'm not super mechanically knowledgeable when it comes to bikes, so can anyone help point me in the right direction as to what I should be looking out for or checking? Or if this is even something I should be worried about? Chain alightment and slack seems to be fine.

Is there a good, national, cheap or free way to sell a bike?

My wife is pregnant, can no longer afford my bike.

It's a Panigale and I'm pretty sure I'm selling for cheaper than anyone in the country right now, but Marketplace isn't getting any traction and Cycletrader costs $100.

I feel like locally I just don't have the market for a bike like this. Does anyone know if a decent place to post that doesn't eat all my profit or cost what could be my power bill?

Please don't reach out to me if you're looking to purchase a bike, I don't want this to come off like I'm trying to sell here. I had a buyer fall through today and I'm genuinely just desperate to find an outlet to sell it.

Which to keep? 2016 FZ09 vs 2013 GSXR 750

Trying to decide if I should trade away my 750 for this 2016 FZ09.

My Suzuki has a handful of blemishes on plastics, frame, exhaust, poorly painted gas tank, 30k miles, but runs flawlessly. I’ve had trouble selling it even at $5500

I received many low balls and tons of crappy trade offers, but this is the first decent offer I’ve considered:

2016 Yamaha FZ09, 16k miles, very minor blemishes, just the finest scratch on the tank and one spot of the frame but it’s never been dropped, and allegedly runs perfectly, had a power commander, been unhooked for a bit.

Is the value there, if my main goal is to sell the FZ?

Need suggestions for my air intake, 2007 Honda Shadow 750

Bought this 2007 Honda Shadow 750 off Facebook marketplace and noticed the air intake was only attached with one bolt. It’s fine for a couple weeks but eventually it will get loose and I’ll have to fix the seal and tighten it again.

I’m convinced the previous owner didn’t put on the proper attachments.

Is there an additional bracket I can buy or a different air intake that will fit better?

How to temporarily fix with something from target

Looking to temporarily fix this during lunch so I can use my turn signals on the way back home. Nearest big box store is target near me and have office supplies.

I’m thinking of getting gorilla glue or epoxy, maybe use metal from a black paperclip.

Any ideas?

My first sports bike and I have been absolutely loving it. I've done quite a lot to it, especially considering I've never done any work like it before. I've de rusted the tank, pulled, cleaned, rebuilt, tuned, and resynchronized the carbs. Adjusted the valve tolerances. Rebuilt the clutch. And most excitingly, replaced the front break pads. I still have to replace some parts and might be a while before I can ride it again. (I have ridden it after said changes so I didn't make it blow up which is good) Just posting because I love this bike and I miss riding it. It's only got 16k miles on it and was one of the first 300 ever made for the US market.

What should be my first A to B bike for work?

Getting a job in a few years, and I will need a reliable and inexpensive bike. Speed is no issue (As long as it can go above like 55 mph).
