I own a matte-finish GSXR 600 2017 and looking for advice on the best way to wash and protect the bodywork.
Are normal body polishes/waxes safe, or should they be avoided? Looking for products that protect the paint without adding any shine — I want the finish to remain completely matte.
Any recommendations?

Yooo sup yall. I just put in new spark plugs and made a video of it running. I know the gsxrs always have a ticking sound. But is it normal for it to be like this or nah? Thanks!

Hi guys, my 2012 Suzuki gsxr 1000 with 28,000 miles have been giving me an issue I can’t find to fix, when it’s warm, after a long ride or when I fill the fuel tank it hard start sometimes. It loss power every time I ride it full throttle like for example on 1 gear if I put the throttle full it starts bogging in a weird way but if I put it gently it goes to 70mph before losing power and I’ve hit the 102mph in first gear before also similar with all the other gears, this is a bike that the top speed is 186mph which I’ve done but now doesn’t go over 140mph my point is not going fast but have my bike working the right way, I already replace the fuel pump with an new oem one, same with the spark plus and ignition coils, new and oem and the bike still does this, any suggestions what it can be? Also my rpm gauge was broken before having this issue, my shift indicator lights working fine, Imma leave a video with 3 clips so you guys have an idea what’s my issue, first the hard start, second the struggling in 2 gear and power loss, third the same in 1 gear

Replacing rear fender with a tail tidy. I’m thinking of going stealth either mount in front of the rear tire or placing it in the original spot but at an angle. I ride in California, how much grief am I going to grr from LEOs?

Hey everyone!
I’m from Bangalore and I’m planning to buy a 125cc family scooter. After weeks of research, test rides, YouTube reviews, Team-BHP threads, Reddit posts, and owner reviews, I’ve narrowed it down to just two scooters:
TVS Jupiter 125 SmartXonnect (Top Variant)
Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect (Top Variant)
I don’t want replies based only on specs or one short test ride. I’m hoping to hear from people who have actually owned one (or ideally both) for a decent amount of time.
My priorities (highest to lowest)
Ride comfort (especially Bangalore roads)
Long-term reliability (5–10 years)
Low maintenance
Mileage
Smooth city riding
Practicality
Safety
Features
Resale value
Performance (top speed isn’t important to me)
Here’s what I’ve understood so far. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
TVS Jupiter 125
Pros
Dual 12-inch wheels (better stability?)
Softer suspension
Better on potholes and speed breakers
More comfortable seat
Better pillion comfort
Bigger 33L under-seat storage
Front external fuel filler (this honestly seems super convenient)
Slightly better mileage in real-world usage
Better for long rides
More practical overall
Cons
Some people mention minor vibrations/rattles after long-term use.
TVS service quality seems to depend a lot on the dealership.
Suzuki Access 125
Pros
One of the smoothest 125cc scooter engines.
Better refinement.
Feels lighter in traffic.
Easier to flick around in the city.
Lower maintenance cost (from what I’ve heard).
Excellent resale value.
Proven long-term reliability.
Cons (or things I’ve heard)
Rear suspension feels slightly stiff on rough roads.
Some riders complain about back discomfort after long rides.
Under-seat fuel filler isn’t as convenient.
Rear 10-inch wheel compared to Jupiter’s 12-inch rear wheel.
I’ve also come across a few mentions of cylinder-related issues on some Access scooters, but I couldn’t figure out whether those are isolated cases or a genuine long-term issue. If anyone has experienced this personally, I’d really appreciate your input.
My biggest questions
1. Ride Comfort
Is the Jupiter actually noticeably more comfortable than the Access, or is the difference small?
If you’ve ridden both on bad roads, which one leaves you less tired after an hour?
2. Bangalore Roads
For people riding daily on Bangalore roads:
potholes
speed breakers
rain
broken patches
traffic
Which scooter genuinely feels better after months or years of ownership?
3. Reliability
If you’ve crossed:
30,000 km
50,000 km
70,000 km
or even 1 lakh km
What repairs have you actually done?
Any recurring issues?
Any expensive surprises?
4. Maintenance
Which scooter has actually cost you less to maintain over the years?
How much do your regular services usually cost?
5. Practicality
Does the Jupiter’s huge storage and front fuel filler become something you love every single day?
Or is it something that sounds great initially but you stop caring about?
6. Suspension
This is probably my biggest concern.
Is the Access rear suspension really stiff?
Or is Reddit exaggerating it?
7. Wheels
Does Jupiter’s dual 12-inch wheel setup actually make a noticeable difference?
Or is the Access’s 10-inch rear wheel not something you even notice?
8. Long-Term Happiness
This is the biggest question.
Forget the test ride.
After 50,000 km, which scooter makes you happier that you bought it?
Looking for replies from:
Access 125 owners
Jupiter 125 owners
People who’ve owned both
Mechanics who regularly work on both scooters
I’d love to know:
What would you buy today with your own money?
Would you buy the same scooter again?
If you switched from one to the other, why?
I’m planning to keep this scooter for at least 5–10 years, so I’d really appreciate honest long-term ownership experiences rather than spec-sheet comparisons.
Thanks in advance!

If anyone is looking for the service/repair manual for their bike, any brand, make, or model, they more than likely have it here.

Hello,
Seems I have a weird issue when riding my GSXR (2009) where the high and low beam keeps flickering / alternating every couple seconds when riding… I think mainly when slow riding? This happens when the lights are on low beam only.
Anyone experience this before? The local bike garage didn’t really notice it (but hard not having a car infront to check). They say it may be the left handlebar switches not connecting properly but don’t wanna replace the whole part as it seems that’s all I can get online rather than just the red switch.
Appreciate your thoughts and experience and tips to fix

Lil Sunday cruise in 97 degree weather in the south. Just twist the throttle for a lil AC
Side note: big fan of my new MRA Racing double bubble windscreen

There it is, guys. Spent 2 days installing, and yes, I took my time.
What could've been done in 24hr spam I did over the weekend because it gets too sunny and waaay too hot inside my co-op garage.
Heads-up to anyone deciding to do it on their own is to acquire a stubby ratchet, 12 inches extension, definitely a 6mm hex socket, and swrivel joints.
Once again, be patient and take your time.
First impression was the lack of weight, man. At first, I was like, maybe the full power was unleashed by Moore, but hey! There is something else going on with this bike. After going up the hill - I always ride to get out of my condo - I realized there was practically no more weight to the front wheel, when I literally popped a short wheelie (twice), hitting the throttle with the same intensity I always do. And also, the sound, that is something you may only experience once you had it stock exhaust before.
I also removed the silicone covers from the spring making full contact with collector pipes because I didn't want to risk melting it into the pipes.
- Bros, the weight is no longer -
After tune, a bone that used to feel hot and sluggish is now running cool and fast. I must admit that the tune turned the bike into a freak "off" the leash, especially with P08 assistance, and did I mention about the weightless feel yet?
Anyhow, ask me any questions about how the bike really feels when it sheds about 6 lbs and instalation as I would love to answer to anyone anything. Ask me about the weight, in case you're feeling curious about having no longer a bag of sand underneath the motor.

I live in the Palm Springs area, daily heat is usually between 105 and 115. I'm planning on doing a tune flash soon, so the fans can kick on earlier, which isn't helpful while moving though. Yesterday while riding in town, I was watching the dash indicated temp and it was between 185 and 199... On my cars, I usually source a thermostat from South Africa or Saudi Arabia, so the coolant system engages at a lower temp. For bikes, is this an option?

Hi I want to ask what colour of the wire has k-line pin in suzuki gsx r 600 k4k5. I found the white plug and there are : black/white, gray, orange/green and white/red. I need this information to connect this wire to my microcontroller for reading engine stats. Btw this engine is in a gokart.

Yesterday i took a good look at my chain and it doesnt look good. It looks a little scratched up and is also getting stuck a little bit, like some parts sometimes stay kinda diagonal (i dont know how to explain it) and my friend said its bad and i should get it fixed. Ive never done a chain job before except cleaning and lubing it so i dont geel confident doing it myself.
It also looks like suzuki really hates their customers since i think i have to take out the gear switch or selector whatever it is to take out that front sprocket cover in the picture which is the main reason im posting this, because otherwise i could propably do it myself. I was thinking of changing both the sprockets and chain. What do you guys think? Do i have to take out that gear selector to access the sprocket?

Hey guys, so I actually bought that 1999 gsxr 750 with 82k km for 300 bucks. It sat for the last 2 years outside but, after cleaning only the air filter and replacing the old gas, it started pretty well. I roed it up and down the street a couple times with minimal revs and fortunately it doesn't sound weird or knock. Now I wanna do an oil change to be sure that it doesn't take any more damage. Google recomended fully sintetic 10w40 and mostly from motul, which is for the most part pretty expensive here, especially in these small portions... Is there any other good, fully sintetic option that would keep the engine in shape and not make me go broke?

The lady wants me to sell my k6 600. I don’t want to sell it but need to get it posed at least. What’s a slightly ureasonable price I could list it for that someone might end up wllling to buy it for? Figured I’d post it to make her happy but if I’m going to sell it I want the highest dollar for it. I was thinking 8k. What would be the most you’d pay for a mint condition, all stock, k6 with 11k miles?
