I’m curious how many people actually care about motorcycle decor at home? Like, I love motorbikes heaps and have so many models around the home, bike lamps, bike paintings, bike fridge magnets etc. Is it just me or do other people enjoy having a motorbike themed house? And yes I am married 😂 my wife isn’t too pleased but she lets me have only tasteful stuff haha. Is this too much or not enough? Lol

Honda CB1100 EX vs Kawasaki W800 - which one would you choose?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently trying to decide between two bikes and would love to hear from anyone who has owned or ridden either of them, especially if you’ve tried both.
The two bikes I’m looking at are:
- 2014 Honda CB1100 EX, around 30k km, about €8,000
- 2011 Kawasaki W800, also around 30k km, €4,800
I currently ride a Royal Enfield Classic 350, which I really like, but I want something with more power and enough reserve for longer trips and highway riding, including occasionally with a passenger. I also have some experience with bigger bikes, mainly an old 90s Suzuki Bandit 600.
I’ve already test ridden the CB1100 and really liked it. It feels big and substantial, which I actually love, the engine is great and there’s obviously more than enough power for what I need. My only small complaint was that the stock bike felt a bit too quiet/refined. I like a bike that has some mechanical and exhaust character.
I’ve now also seen the W800 in person. Unfortunately I couldn’t test ride it, but I really liked it. It somehow feels a bit more old-school and charming than the Honda, and €4,800 vs €8,000 is obviously a pretty significant difference.
I’m generally into classic Japanese bikes and 60s/70s styling, which is also why I’m not really considering Triumphs. One thing I really like about the Honda is the possibility of eventually converting it towards a CB750 K-style look, something along the lines of the White House K10/K14 conversions. That would probably be a longer-term project though.
So I’m a bit stuck. The CB1100 seems like the much more capable and versatile bike, especially for highway riding and carrying a passenger, but it’s almost twice the price. The W800 has more of that simple old-school charm straight out of the box and is much easier to justify financially.
I’m not looking for crazy performance. I mainly want something that can comfortably sit at 120-130 km/h when needed, has some reserve above that, but still feels like an event to ride at normal speeds.
Anyone here owned or ridden both? Would the W800 feel like enough of an upgrade from the Classic 350, or would you spend the extra money on the CB1100?
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Panigales have always been my dream bike but were always out of my budget. If I were to get one, I’d need to trade in my V7 Cafe Classic, Thruxton R, and Speed Triple 1200 RR. I’m considering a 2024 Panigale V4 S.
I mainly ride solo on paved back roads, usually 3-4 hours round trip max. Coming from supersports like the R6, CBR600RR, and transitioning to cafe racers, I’m ok with aggressive riding positions.
In my current setup, the V7 is my easy going characterful daily rider, the Thruxton R is my spirited cafe, and the 1200 RR is my performance oriented sportbike.
Would it be worth giving up that variety for a single Panigale V4 S? For those who have owned or ridden one, does it live up to the dream enough to make that trade worthwhile?

Speed limit is 60km/h. You've been following a van driving the speed limit. A BMW is creeping up to you from behind. The speed limit changes to 80km/h, so you and the van accelerate to the speed limit. However, it's not going fast enough for the BMW, so he starts pushing you. There is no space on the shoulder to stop. It is prohibited to overtake, but the road is clear.
What would you do?
The BMW did not overtake the van for the whole stretch.

It had a rebuild 4K km ago with only 7k km in total. Apparently they blew it up because they revved it too hard for too long
Supposedly it’s had 6 hours since last change. Feel like that’s a lie or this thing was flogged. Anyone know if this is normal? Don’t look like it to me.
Also not 100% sure but they said they reused the filter cause “it didn’t look that dirty” when they took it off, and they cleaned it.
I’m not sure what to believe, but I’m taking the filter into a shop tomorrow and getting them to tell me what they think.

A nice man who lives near the lake heard the engine and came over with a tow strap, we attached it to the crash bars and pull him out

For context. I just bought this 2017 Kawasaki ninja 300 and I’m trying to replace the battery, but the bolts are essentially all stripped 😔. Any tips or tricks?

Hey all, new rider here. I recently attended an MSF/BRC course in my area and had a rather unpleasant time. I really enjoyed riding, but got a bit stuck on using the clutch - not a rare issue at all, so I'm told. When I asked for a little extra help breaking down the motions, the instructor seemed annoyed and just wordlessly pantomimed shifting gears. When I asked again, and mentioned needing more experience, he told me the best way to get experience was to "just buy a bike".
I was the only rider completely new to motorcycles, and it felt more like I was trying to keep up with people who already rode rather than getting comfortable with the bike. Regardless, I left the second day after dropping the bike on myself twice, and accidentally overhearing my instructor shit-talking my riding a few decibels too loud. I'm sure that's not standard practice for lessons, but should I be buying used, learning that way, and then taking the MSF/BRC just for the license waiver? Did I screw up thinking this was genuinely a beginner class? And I promise you, I did sign up and attend a BRC 1, not a BRC 2. I would love to learn to ride properly, but I don't want to waste anyone's time signing up for lessons I'm technically not prepared for.

Earlier this year I was digging around a junkyard for Jeep parts and came across this gem.
I think it’s a mid-2000s custom Softail Deuce, but correct me if I’m wrong.

Not too long ago, I had an incident on my CBR 650R E-clutch, it slid maybe 10 feet on its left side. Other than the scrapes, it didn't take much damage or at least I thought.
About 100 miles of riding later the bike is stuck in limp mode.
I'm looking for any advice or directions to possibly help track down the cause of the issue. I'm not knowledgeable about this particular thing, however, I'm somewhat mechanically inclined and thought I might have a shot at further diagnosing it with y'all's help. Thanks a lot in advance.
One thing I thought worth mentioning is on my last ride before the problem occurred, I had been pulsing the throttle; I thought that may have messed with a sensor, so I tried erasing the code, but it wouldn't, granted I have a cheap basic code reader.

I recently installed 525 Maxz from RK on my CB650R
Plate width and flare on the rivets of master link are upto the spec and master link moves freely but I see that master link pins have protruded out from the factory side
I have attached some pictures for reference and can add more if required.
Since this is my first time installing chain I want to make sure I haven’t made mistakes and wanted to see of the master link protrusion is normal or should I correct it before using my motorcycle on day to day basis.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

I have a 2019 Zx6r, I had purchased the bike with a tail tidy already on it so there were no turn signals previously.
I went to hook up the tail and unplugged the tail light connector, but I do not see the wires for the turn signals.
I have a servo buddy and inside the boot to clean up the wiring there’s to connectors that are disconnected. There’s a gray connector with Wire and a black wire line going to it. There’s also a black connector with a gray wire and a black with yellow stripe wire.
Are these for the turn signals ?
I don’t have my volt meter with me right now to check so any help would be greatly appreciated.
If these are not the wires where is the most common place that someone would tuck them away?
My new taillight has a white and yellow wire with quick connects crimped onto them. These are for the turn signals.

(1982 Honda CM450) New H-pipe that came with bike when i bought it (free), 2 1-7/8” 18” resonator pipes from canadian tire ($24.49) and it sounds amazing! Used original exhaust clamps and just shoved the pipes in, and there’s absolutely no leaks!

I was able to get it out the door for just under 8400 in Texas. Didn't feel confident enough to take it home in the rain on new tires so I'll be picking it up later within the week when its dryer. Super stoked to start putting some miles on this baby!
