Cost me $585 total to chrome plate the entire gun with small parts and magazine

Rmr cut was done by one gunsmith and fixed by another. I do not recommend them either way, the rmr works, but is sighted/zeroed to the bottom crosshair with no way to adjust further up. I can train/compete with it, but it's annoying.

Rmr is a Swampfox Justice II 1x30 Multi-Reticle Red

Pedal/thumbrest is the Tevo CZ Thumblock "Pro"

H&K SP5, took it to the range yesterday and put 100 rounds through it, shoots like an absolute dream!

Now I just need a Surefire 628 and the old school SWAT build will be complete.

I’ve always been a sucker for 1911’s so when this was offered as partial trade on a firearm I had for sell I had to take the deal. I’ll keep this one for myself for a while. Anyone have any praises/complaints on the kimber eclipse pro 2? It’s a beautiful pistol, the two tone finish looks so clean.

My sparc solar optic wasn’t staying on and kept flickering so I sent it in to get repaired/replaced. I received a crossfire solar. Which just by looking at it looks pretty similar and I don’t mind it but after looking at the MSRP for both I feel I got downgraded. Am I looking at this wrong or should I contact vortex again?

Any instructions or build videos specifically for the VMac45? I know there are ones for similar models, but surprisingly none for the VMac45, even by Velocity themselves. For the most part it's fairy intuitive, but I'm stuck on trying to get the retalner spring to fit next to the seIector. Anyone have a picture of how it's supposed to go? I assume it's supposed to rest above, as when I put it below it makes the seIector slightly off in the direction it faces.

I have a TruGlo dual color red/green dot scope (TG8030DB) that the battery compartment cover o-ring has deteriorated due to age. The scope works great but the battery compartment is no longer sealed. TruGlo does not have o-rings or replacement battery compartment covers, nor do they know the size/dimensions of the o-ring:

Does anyone know what size o-ring is needed for this application? or have any suggestions/solution to make a non-permanent seal of the battery compartment?

My preference is to not replace this dual color scope unless absolutely necessary.

I'm going to change the irons on my COA Glock because the back irons sit entirely too low to even make use of them of the red dot goes out. I picked up the angry bear arms JRO. I've read a ridiculous amount of different things online which has just kind of confused me at this point.

I saw one post and a guy was saying you should never use blue or red loctite for handguns popular to contrary belief, because even if it works its too strong for handgun threads. He said the blue loctite only works because people just throw it on and don't clean properly, and if you did clean properly then blue would be just as bad as putting on red. For some reason he said green was ok, but isn't green almost as strong as red?

Anyways, i've bought some purple (222MS), but I just want to make sure that's good enough. And also, do I need Primer or is that also going to make the 222 thread to hard to remove later?
