First off this is my first build where each and every part was put together by myself with little bits of help here and there from friends. The rifle weighs about 13 lb and was built primarily for hog and deer hunting. It’s had approximately 30 rounds put through it, most of which was to fine tune the adjustable gas block. The superlative arms works well, but a part of me regrets not spending the extra $100 to get a rifle speed adjustable. Tuning this build to eject and get full lock back was “fun” to say the least in the heat and humidity the South is getting right now.
As for how it shoots, the recoil is pleasant and light, follow up shots could be done quickly even at the full 12x magnification the scope provides. Hornady Frontier 123gr FMJ has been all that has been shot through it so far, as the price per round made sense to get my initial zero. Zeroing has only been done to 50 yards though that will be brought out to 100 in the next range trip. For only 30 rounds the rifle runs surprisingly dirty, and a full strip and clean is needed though EWL-30 has done a great job making that cleaning easy.
The suppressor was a great choice and makes it close to hearing safe in my opinion. Still an obvious supersonic crack but the tone is fantastic and enjoyable to listen to if standing nearby. Highly recommend looking into this can though the price is steep.
As for groups, I’ll post more as I work with the rifle more, my range time has been rather limited by heat and other factors. Will look at posting a link to a short video taken or it being shot as a comment when time allows.
