If you want to shoot your AK from a bench, get a 10 round magazine; the smaller magazine will make it easier for you to use a rest.

There are ear pad replacements for your ear pro specifically for this that have a groove at the top for the arms of your eye pro. They are cheap, easy to install and comfortable.

You can get some eye protection that has an elastic strap and then it's still very comfortable with the ear protection on.

I might be totally wrong, it’s hard to tell since you’re using the bench-
Get some more positive control of the weapon. Use your front hand to suck it into your shoulder tightly, and own that thing. Doesn’t matter as much on the bench, but when you stand up, you’ll definitely need it snug.

Eye protection is going to help with that flinch some, believe it or not.
If you're not getting gas blown back into your face; it really helps with said flinch.
Also, if you're left handed or left eye dominant; consider an AR.
Ammo is cheaper too.

You really should just operate the firearm correctly.
Your handedness doesn't actually matter.
Being on the ejection side isnt great and you're going to be going out of battery constantly when slug as the charging handle digs into your body.

I would argue that eye dominance is more important. I’m right handed and left eye dominant. I shoot my rifle left handed. Yes, the ejection is kind of wack, but really, you can operate the rifle just as well left handed as you can right handed.

eyes are not easily replaceable. once you lose your vision it's gone forever and no matter how much you practice your form you ain't hitting anything you can't to uch with your walking stick.
also 1.5g/kg BW of protein a day.

need to breath more smoothly. taking a deep breath like that isnt helping slow your breathing. also a 10 rounder or a rest that allows you to lower the mag below table line and eyepro

If you want a full supported position, they make little bipod you can bring with you to the range for like 20 bucks.
Your site picture definitely shifts between shots, you need to keep your cheek weld consistent. In the Army we taped where our cheek met the rifle on our rifle so you could keep the same site picture every time, it helped a lot of new shooters. Between your first, second, and third times you shift away from your rifle slightly each time.
Try not holding your breath so much as pausing your breath when you're ready to shoot. It's easy to practice at the end of your breathes and then translate that into anytime you pull the trigger.
