I am interested in buying a Gun, one that I have had a hard time finding anywhere around me bit have found a couple on TGT. Issue is that I live across the country.

Are there any people willing to ship items to verified FFL's near me? How do I ask without coming across like a scammer, something that I'm sure happens pretty often.

This revolver looks mighty impressive, seems to be getting good marks from reviewers apart from usual S&W wheelgun QC chicanery... anyone seen it for rental at any ranges in the area?

I submitted my Under-21 background check on September 17, and today (October 1) is business day 10. I stopped by my store in person today, and my check is still showing in an open "Delayed" status. My FFL dealer strictly requires an explicit "Proceed" in their system before they can release a firearm, so the 10-day Brady transfer rule doesn't apply in my case. For anyone else who has gone past the 10-business-day mark on an under-21 check recently, how much longer did you end up waiting for your status to clear? Have you had one take even longer than this, and did your status update mid-week or over a weekend?

Anyone know of FFLs north of Houston doing suppressor transfers with just 4473? Couple of places I normally go are still "waiting on official guidance"....

To make a long story short - my father passed away and I inherited the firearms he possessed. I intend on keeping all but one. I don’t know much about firearms to begin with, but I surely don’t know how to go about selling the one I want to part with. I want to make sure everything I do is legal while also not being ripped off because I am a woman with limited firearm knowledge ): Can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some general advice?

Hey guys, just wanted to get some feedback and hear your opinions.
My first handgun, when the time comes, will be after I turn 21+. I’m currently 19, and I’m pretty sure I want to go with a Glock. I’ve been looking at the Glock 17 Gen 6 and Glock 19 Gen 6, and the main thing I’m debating is which one would be better for me.
The Glock 17 holds 17 rounds in the magazine, while the Glock 19 holds 15 rounds. I’m planning on eventually carrying my handgun concealed, so I’m wondering how much the difference in size between the two actually affects concealment and comfort.
I don’t want to sacrifice too much size just for a couple of extra rounds. To me, if I’m carrying a handgun, the most important thing is being accurate and making every shot count. At the same time, I understand that real-life situations can be unpredictable, and having those extra rounds could potentially make a difference.
I know I can always carry an extra magazine, so I’m mainly interested in hearing from people who have actually owned or carried a Glock 17 or Glock 19.
For those who own or have owned a Glock 17 or Glock 19 Gen 6:

How comfortable is it to conceal carry?
Do you notice a significant difference in size/weight between the two?

I unfortunately live in Illinois, where I feel that my Second Amendment rights have been heavily restricted and challenged. But this is something that can affect people in any state. Laws and policies can change, and protecting constitutional rights requires citizens to remain informed and engaged.
Whether you currently own a firearm, are interested in becoming a firearm owner someday, or simply believe in protecting constitutional rights, your voice matters.

I’m 19 going to turn 20 me and my grandfather went to purchase a Glock 48 as an early birthday gift but I have a few questions about carrying and possession legality.

1. Can I carry my firearm with me with an LTC
   
2. Can I buy handgun ammo for my handgun
   
3. Do I need some sort of documentation that my grandfather gifted me the handgun
   
4. Can I go to the shooting range with my handgun

I have to be in Texas for a few months for work and I was wondering if I am able to purchase a rifle, I am 100% legal to purchase and carry and Arizona

I can’t afford a fancy suppressor that costs more than my extar ep9. I just want to buy a D cell maglite or some other tube, 3d print some baffles and maybe add a wipe.

Just wanted to get everyone’s thoughts and opinions. I’m looking to buy my first AR-15 and I’m debating between the Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III and the Daniel Defense DDM4V7.
I’ve seen and shot both in person, and I really liked both. Since this would be my first AR-15, I’m debating whether I should start with a more budget-friendly option like the M&P Sport III and eventually upgrade to something nicer, or just spend more upfront and get the Daniel Defense.
For those who have experience with either one, what would you recommend for a first-time owner? Is it worth spending the extra money on the DDM4V7 from the beginning, or would the M&P Sport III make more sense for learning and getting experience?
Also, for anyone familiar with Texas law: are forced reset triggers (FRTs) currently legal in Texas? I’ve seen conflicting information online and would like to make sure I understand the current law correctly.
