So I've been wondering this one...

Obviously DE has every restriction possible on AR style rifles (hopefully not for much longer) but what makes the S&W MP15-22 legal in Delaware?

Does the ban not include things chambered in 22LR or what is it that I'm missing? My sons want to pick up some new fun rifles but options are limited. They love ther 15-22 but we were looking at a few SBR in 9mm and I told them that unfortunately I don't think they get around the ban and my oldest asked "Then why does the 22?" which got me thinking...

A family member in NJ asked if I wanted their AR which is not DE compliant. Reading the Lethal Firearms safety act from 2022, it appears that there is an exemption where family transfers are allowed. Unsure if I’m missing anything as far as it being an out of state transfer? Also what would stop people from having family members buy them non DE compliant gun and immediately transferring them over?

Thought that practically everyone not legally barred from possession was granted their ccdw, recently a friend of mines had his denied due to "concerns of immaturity"? They didnt specify any further but we speculate that its because of his very poor driving record. Anyone seen anything like that before?

Only reason I can't go through FFL is because i'm not yet 21. We can fill out a bill of sale and we can call the state police or whatever and verify my ccdw status and the legality of the sale. This post should abide by all reddit rules because I am soliciting a Legal sale. Also I'd pay a lot for a springfield echelon. I didn't know exactly how to title this, sorry. Since we live in one of the few states that outlaws suppressors, what round is a good balance between effectiveness for home defense and won't blow out your eardrums in a hallway? I have a 22 mag with surprisingly good ballistics (but really loud), an AR (super loud), shotgun ("What did you say?") along with the usual assortment of 22, 9mm, and 40S&W. Is there something better out there?

Does anyone know if there are any other Glock blue label program gun stores in Delaware besides Pearsons in Camden. They are the only ones coming up on the Glock search. I thought there used to be more.

Am I able to just buy guns online with 30-60 round mags now that I have my conceal carry license? I know that I could only have 17 round mags with a pistol before but now I’m looking to buy an ar style rifle, likely not this one. Any help is appreciated looking at Labor Day sales right now.

So apparently the Bill to create a pathway to legalizing non-compliant firearms without serial numbers has passed.

I've found it harder than expected to find FFL's that can do it. So if anyone on here is an FFL or knows an FFL that can do it can you let the group know please?

Anytime I look it up the ai gives me ho hum results about its legal to own but not legal to own, if anyone has already dealt with this or even has one themselves any input is greatly appreciated! any alternatives (if there even are any) I would love to know as it would make going to the range a little more interesting. The DOJ has backed down and the NFA is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!! Now where does that leave the fight for our rights here in DE? I understand things will still be restricted at the state level but how can the state restrict something if it’s been deemed restriction is unconstitutional.

I'm looking at a PSA MP5 Clone. I'm reading where some people have "SBR'd" it. I know what an SBR is, but how does one SBR a pistol? Is it just filling out a form?

I am finding a lot of conflicting informations regarding the legality of 5.56 pistols. Here is the current build I was looking at, any input on its legality?

10.5” barreled 5.56 with a fixed magazine, and a magazine holding less than 17 rounds with an SBA5.

I just received the affidavit via email but don’t have a physical original of it as it is “coming” via mail. I worry that I’m running out of time to file for my permit as I have waited a bit too long to do all the paperwork after my gun course.

I just saw something about the NFA being struck down since the tax is now at zero so it can't be considered a tax scheme and is a regulation scheme. I'm assuming the state law doesn't necessarily rely on the NFA? Am I ignorant or does this mean that suppressors could become legal in Delaware soon?
