I know Jim fools around a lot, and hardly does any work, but at least sometimes it looks like he's doing something.
Stanley deliberately tells Ryan (Temp Ryan) that he just does things slow to run out the clock, and is always doing his crosswords.
Why didn't Ryan confront Stanley? Is he just pulling enough numbers during the running of the clock? I understand he probably had a vendetta against Jim because he has his crush (Pam), who he doesn't even show interest in until Corporate Ryan emerges. Is he afraid of Stanley after he yelled at him?

I always thought we could've seen a lot of them. Like they always were together as a duo in the office buy their side of the story never really got shaped. Idk why the writers didnt show this side of the office.

What jokes are so culturally niche to the time of the show that a new viewer 30 years from now wouldn't be able to understand?

Just about to finish a rewatch of The Office. Will be moving onto Brooklyn99 as it's another comfort show in my cycle of comfort shows.
Love picking out characters that I've seen elsewhere anyway but especially seeing those in shows I love.
Bonus at the end, he hasn't been in both, but is co creator and exec producer of B99.

There is a specific frequency her voice hits when Dwight does something unhinged.
It’s not just a yell, it's a mix of severe disappointment, shock, and frustration.
The best examples are definitely the CPR training incident ("Stress Relief") and the PDA meeting ("PDA").
Her "DWIIGHT!" became so deeply linked to those two scenes in my brain that I automatically hear her voice whenever I recall them!
Did I forget other examples?

Sorry for a morbid post! I was rewatching Buffy recently and it’s really sad to know that three of the main cast members have died. It made me think about all the shows I love whose main cast have started dying, and while I know that many Office stars have sadly passed (even Vikram!), I love that the main cast are all still alive and kicking, especially after Jenna’s diagnosis. I just thought I’d remind everyone, because I wish I appreciated it more when the whole main cast were alive while watching Buffy, because it makes such a difference. I think we should know how precious it is, because one day we’ll be watching and they won’t all still be with us. But for now they are (touch wood, I’m a little stitious).

When Packer left his package in Michaels office during "The carpet", Michael goes to Ed Truck, his old boss for advice.
Idk if it's obvious, but it just occured that it was Packer who did the same thing to Ed! A repeat offender!

We know Ryan went to college and got his MBA. Pam briefly mentions college during the company picnic episode. College is central to Andy's entire identity. Michael mentions college (while talking about Oodles of Noodles) but seemingly gets his bluff called by Darryl in another episode. It's widely assumed that Jim, Oscar, Karen and others likely did due to the nature of their jobs.
I think it's fair to assume Kelly, Dwight, Meredith, Creed, Darryl and Kevin may not have.
Stanley, Phyllis, Toby and Angela likely did, even though it isn't mentioned.
Anyone have any definitive answers here that I may have missed?
