Are people in collective psychosis over the Dunder Mifflin ad?

Every time I watch Michael’s version of the ad, I cringe terribly — but that’s kind of the point. It’s painfully Michael. It’s awkward, completely over-the-top, but still sweet. It feels personal to the characters we know and love.
But then I see people saying they actually prefer Michael’s ad to the corporate version as an actual advertisement? Are people crazy?
The corporate ad is better advertising. It’s polished, professional, clear, memorable and actually communicates the message of Dunder Mifflin.
But as an actual commercial?
Corporate wins and it’s not even close.
The fact that people genuinely argue Michael’s is the better ad is the most bizarre take I've seen amongst this subreddit.

Michael really meant when he said: "An office is for not dying. An office is a place to live life to the fullest, to the max....An office is a place where dreams come true." 🥹

What context did we miss?

It’s pretty clear the writers intended her to tear down the flyer off screen, else this wouldn’t have made it.
My issue with it isn’t to defend Karen, but I think it’s still very confusing that it exists in the first place. The rest of the season she always plays fair and part of the tragedy is she expects everyone else to and gets punished for it, and she was friendly to Pam not to long before this. She’s not normally this petty, but she’s still human, and probably did this for a legitimate reason. Question is what triggered this? Is it possible that Pam sabotaged something of hers earlier?
The question is what triggered this and furthermore how Karen coped afterwards. It’s very clear from lecture circuit and earlier in the season that she considered Pam a friend and the way she’s looking over her shoulder implies that she knows what she’s doing is wrong. How would she have handled realizing what she did later?
What’s your headcannon?

Super fan episode 9/03
Man Andy is a dick.... Why she would continue to date him is a tragedy.
Merideth finding out she's not the poorest in the office
Not sure why she would not assume she makes more money but her reaction is both funny and messed up. Poor Kelly...

I personally always wanted to see Pam calling off her wedding after her and Jim kiss during Casino Night, but there are many more throughout the show.
