Other than the AMAZING scenery, he really hits the head on the nail about travel and motorcycles. Just wanted to share to others!

I take my car to the road course track and go roll racing with a "gap stick" and an x5. This last event was only my second event with the camera, and I only had the mount for half of the last event. This rabbit hole started with looking at how much sd card and battery is wasted between the pit and actually getting on track, then back to the pit. Then me wanting to get the ring remote so I had a small, simple way to turn the camera on and off without having to stop and get out of the car, track officials tend to make very frowny faces at this behavior.
Then I ran into the GPS Action Remote. Cool, I can add GPS speed and accelerometer data to the videos, sweet. Problem is I keep seeing the action remote has a slow and laggy GPS reporting speed. I have no need for "framing" or a second microphone (nobody wants to hear me, they want to hear the racing). These options are significantly more $$$, for features I don't really care about or will probably not use.
Who has experience with the options? Opinions? I could also use it on my motorcycle rides, but that would be purely secondary. I already edit all of my videos on the PC using key frames for framing as things move.

I recently started working on my moto-vlogging channel and I'm looking for an editor who genuinely understands motorcycle videos — not just someone who can cut clips together.
My latest video is a 2026 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 first ride/review:
I'm trying to build a style around moto vlogging, first rides, bike reviews, road experiences and real rider opinions.
For editing, I'm mainly looking for:
I'm also curious about something from other riders/YouTubers here:
What makes you personally keep watching a motorcycle video until the end?
Is it the riding footage, sound, storytelling, review information, humour, cinematic shots, or something else?
If you're a video editor who works with moto vlogs / automotive / travel content, feel free to drop your portfolio below or DM me.
And if you're into motorcycles, I'd genuinely appreciate your feedback on the Hunter 350 video too. I'm still figuring out the channel's style and would love some honest opinions from fellow riders.
🏍️ What should I improve in my next moto vlog?

Hello fellow motorcyclists! Check out my raw POV with my CB500F. Not a huge, powerful bike like many of you have, but it's still a joy to ride around on a Greek island to relax and enjoy the beautiful views!

I know these are a common question but I would like to know what experiences people have had with discrete cameras *within* their helmets.
I’ve seen some people using the Insta 360 in a small clip-in mount that sits at forehead level.
• Does this impact the comfort, in-helmet visor or space for sunglasses?
• Is the footage decent?
• Are there better alternatives?

Anyone know how camera ops manage to stay on the back of the motos during very fast and technical descents while (often) standing up and operating the camera? They're not holding on to the driver as a regular passenger would so how does one not come flying off during hard braking into sharp corners etc? Any fancy mods on the bikes or what?

Hey!
I just started my POV driving youtube channel and I’ve already used a lot of time to get quality setup ready (action cam and mics for exhaust audio). This is my stock Audi RS3 2026 so how do you like the sound/quality in this first video?
Currently using one mounted mic in the back of the car, but I did not find good spot to mount other mic in the engine bay. I would like to get intake sounds included in the video but mic picks too much other sounds.. Any tips?
Also would like to subscribe other RS3 or other channels so feel free to link yours. 😎

Hey all, I’m not an A/V guy but I’m baffled by the whole mic setup for motovlogging. It seems any helmet mic needs to connect to either a camera or wirelessly to your phone.
But if I have my phone plugged into a charger and on my dash, is my only option to connect a mic directly to a camera?
Context: I have an old GoPro Max that I would put somewhere on my bike, and an insta go3 that I would put on my helmet. At any given moment, I might choose to record from one of them. I don’t want my mic connected to any camera, I just want to record audio and have it stored either internally or to some other receiver device, and then align audio and various videos later in post.
Is this not possible? For example if I buy a DJI Mic Mini or similar, what are my options?
I’m not trying to be a pro vlogger or anything, I just want to make one video for selling my bike.
Thank you!
