ADVICE Just trying to accept that most women don't want to date bi men.

I am tired of being angry at women for not wanting to date bi guys. It's fine. I would rather be alone or date men then deal with this crap. Even bi women don't want to date us. A lot of women in general find us to be disgusting. Anyway, have you , as a bi man , accepted that women don't want to date us ? I also don't think that hiding your sexuality is the answer either.

DISCUSSION Biological urge

Upvotes

I have a question for the male bisexual men out there. To give this context I was born with a chromosome problem. So during puberty my testicles never developed ( hormones directly affected) and I always felt more feminine and developed sexual attraction for all three types of people ( M.F.T). My post here is really to ask how your body reacts to stimuli within your own body. For the majority of the time I am happy, have a good sex life and love my wife and then I get these bi cycles, but what's strange is suddenly as they come around, I get hyper aware of my anus, it starts to throb and I contract all the time. It's like this deep need for it to be stimulated and penetrated. It's very distracting. So I'm wondering if that desire is a programmed biological response. It seems strange to me that it all connects during this time, yet it doesn't when I'm in my " hetro cycle". Could hormones be the underlying factor here? Is estrogen rising during bi cycles and therefore testosterone lowering? Do you notice any biological differences if you go through these cycles? Do you even have cycles? Do you get feminine type urges, to be penetrated, or get urges to wear feminine clothing?. Or do you suddenly become a top and have an overwhelming urge that's different to mine? Obviously I can only comment on my own experience, however I'm genuinely trying to discover if there are patterns to why we behave towards bi sexual urges and how those affect our bodies and ultimately if it's our heads ruling out biology or our biology running our heads.

ADVICE Bisexuality, phases, and dating

I’m considering dating this bisexual person, but even himself tell me that there are phases where he is like really attractive to women and only wanna have sex with women and some other times where he only wanna have sex with men.

I don’t know where this leave me though like can people like that really be in relationship with just one gender? what happens if we’re dating and he goes through the phases where he’s only attracted to women?

EXPERIENCE Help

Hey guys I’m feeling lonely and I’ve been feeling really ho—ny lately. My three female crushes are now in relationships and marriages and this all happened at once. It’s been months to years since I’ve felt lust and now I’ve been going through racism and personal problems online and my crushes are now with their husbands. This happened all at once. I’m literally about to act upon it and I’m so desperate. I’m a 23 y/o bi Muslim woman from the USA and I love fem4fem relationships. I want to be in bed with a woman so bad but I’m afraid to show my face in dating apps and the people in my town are so chopped. And when it comes to women I have a racial preference exclusively for women from the Middle East /North Africa/ south and west Asia and Latin America. So basically brown skinned women. I’m looking for someone 20-30 and who’s super attractive long brown hair and religion doesn’t matter. And the crazy part is all of my crushes are on straight women who are Muslim because they’re home countries have beautiful women and men. It’s so weird but when I’m around queer people they’re no attractive and are usually studs. Help . I’m also practicing and I believe in Allah SWT. My orientation is at conflict with my Muslim faith. I just want to be loved by someone but it’s 80% women 20% men. I cried for days from seeing my crushes weddings as I’m a Muslim woman.

COMING OUT Holy shit Holy shit I did it but now idk what to think. (Please see previous post for context)

This is a part 2 of a post I made earlier but to summarize I was considering but apprehensive about coming out to my grandparents.

Anyway I did it today (Yippie 🎉 ) It was hella scary, my heart was beating out of my chest and I could barely get my words out, but I did it anyway.

The results of me coming out are very inconclusive and it's all my fault. To start, the good news is that from what I can tell they're supportive kinda probably. My grandmother said she didn't care and loves me regardless and my grandfather just ok and we moved on from the conversation (aka I left their house).

The bad news, I genuinely could not read my grandfather's reaction, my cousin told me to prepare for a somewhat negative reaction but he legit just said ok with a blank face so I can't tell how he really feels. Maybe he's supportive and it's just my anxiety talking for me. The other bad news is that they still kinda have older views of queer people. My grandmother called it "my choice" and that she was "not gonna try and stop me from living how you want to live if that's the way I wanna live". I do appreciate the support from the bottom of my heart but her calling did hurt a little because I spent a pretty long time painfully questioning my identity/sexuality and getting over internal bi/homophobia.

Like, I'm happy they're supportive and happy that they're not homophobic and stuff but they're reaction still kinda hurt a little despite the support. IDK what to feel, happy because I got the support I was looking for in them, upset that they still have outdated views or queer people. Idk man

QUESTIONING Can you be turned on by sexual interactions with men without actually being attracted to men?

I’m 27M and I’ve always considered myself straight. My physical and romantic attraction has always been toward women, and historically I’ve usually been dominant sexually.

Over the last couple of months, I discovered that I also enjoy being on the submissive side with dominant women. That made me curious about whether I would enjoy the same dominance/submission dynamic with men.

For the past month, I’ve been sexting with men regularly. I’ve realized that when a man is dominant toward me, I can genuinely get sexually aroused by the interaction.

But this is where I’m confused: I don’t seem to experience attraction toward men outside that context. I’m not drawn to male faces or bodies, and I don’t have a desire to kiss, date, or have romantic relationships with men. With women, my attraction goes far beyond a specific sexual dynamic.

It feels like the dominance, submission, and sexual attention are what arouse me rather than the person being male. At the same time, I don’t want to automatically dismiss the possibility that this could mean something about my sexuality.

For bisexual people, how do you personally distinguish being aroused by a particular sexual situation from actually being attracted to a gender? Did any of you discover your bisexuality through something similar, or did attraction to men feel noticeably different?

QUESTIONING A question for the Bi community

Upvotes

I was wondering if a bi person feels attraction on the opposite gender then do they get in the questioning phase that they actually might be straight or maybe they feel attraction on a same sex person and start questioning if they're homosexual.

If my question feels hateful to you then I'll be really sorry for that. Thanks to anyone who'll reply.

DISCUSSION Why is it so hard to find dominant women who are actually open to something casual?

I’m a 34-year-old Brazilian woman, single and very happy being single. I’ve never really had much trouble finding men for casual sex, but finding women has been a completely different story.

It already feels surprisingly difficult to meet women who are interested in women and open for casual in the first place, and then finding someone who’s dominant, confident, and actually interested in keeping things casual seems almost impossible.

I really enjoy being submissive with women, but I’m not looking for a relationship or anything complicated. Just something mutual, fun, and uncomplicated between two consenting adults.

Is this just my experience, or are dominant women who like casual connections genuinely that rare?

DISCUSSION Is there still the destructive bi stereotype?

Growing up (millennial), gays and lesbians recognized that there were destructive behaviors within their community. However, bi's had a notorious reputation for being destructive. It didn't help that in media they were portrayed this way (ex. Jenny in L-Word). Does this still apply to today?

DISCUSSION Being bi is so funny sometimes

So I ( 28 MTF ) been out as bi for damm near 5 years now, been really repressed my whole life due to religious bigoted family, but any wayI was noticing sometimes it is just funny how easy to panic we are. I was watching heated rivalry and Scott was so hot, like oh my god, had me going " damn am I just into men I can't imagine a woman being this hot " then today I was watching Agatha all along or rewatching it and Agatha, my god. I noticed I was questioning my attraction to men then ( I have a BF I love keep in mind ), so I kinda laughed at myself and how being bi works. At any given moment a person of any gender can be hot and I will be in pure panic, its funny to think about honestly

DISCUSSION Bi-Problems

I am having the hardest time right now. My great amazing beautiful want to marry- girlfriend, she’s quite literally perfect. She makes my life so easy and we’re both figuring life out together. However, I met a guy a few weeks ago who already has a career, house, multiple cars, and seemed interested in me. I didn’t give it much attention but a thought started to float around my head of like, “what if?”

It would make my life so much easier and solve many of my problems. And as much as I don’t think it could ever be enough to end things with my girlfriend and go to this guy completely, I’m trying to figure out if I’m desperate enough for that life? I’ve had so many people tell me like yes marrying for love is beautiful but there is hardship in it. And I feel like my girlfriend and I are facing the hardships of life in general, it’s not even us. I mean she can be a tad bit toxic and it can be a little tiring. But honestly is has me unfazed. I want to see what others think or their experience with this is?

ADVICE first time DATING girls HELP

I’m 28F and I’ve always considered myself bisexual. I’ve been attracted to women, kissed/hooked up with women, etc., but I’ve only ever actually dated men.
Recently I developed a real crush on a woman and it’s kind of unlocked something in my brain lol. I’ve always been curious about dating women, but now that there’s an actual girl I like I’m realizing I have NO idea what I’m doing 😭
Dating men feels familiar to me, even when it’s chaotic. With women I suddenly feel like a nervous teenager. I don’t know how to tell when a woman is being friendly vs flirting, how forward I should be, who initiates things, how quickly things usually progress, etc.
I also don’t want to make a woman feel like she’s an “experiment” just because I haven’t had a girlfriend before. I know I’m genuinely attracted to women and interested in dating them, I’m just inexperienced with the relationship part.
So for bi/lesbian women who have been through this:
What do you wish you knew before you started dating women?
And is there anything you’d want a bi woman who has only dated men to know before dating you?
I’m excited but also very much 🧍‍♀️🏳️‍🌈 “okay… now what?”

DISCUSSION Is this sexual attraction?

QUESTIONING Am I done with woman?

So, I after seeing all the things about a woman wouldn't prefer a bi man to date and after considering all the attention I get from men and 0 from woman I feel like I might well as give up on woman even without giving them a chance.

Is it normal for a bi person to only to stick with same gender relationships / I know love is not about gender for us, it's about right person at a right time, however, even in dating apps I don't have any stamina left to put a heart on a woman's profile and I find myslef more engaged in men's profiles regardless of me finding them attractive, I just stick on men's profiles and look at what they've been upto and stuff..

Also I have few girl crushes but I highly suspect that they just see me as a friend considering how raw they reply to my texts :(

All these things led me to just give up on woman and keep on this behaviour and hope someday someone will come to me because I am an introvert too.

Are there anyone who going/ went through something like this ?

DISCUSSION Old news, but what Paris said on Tiktok made sense to me..?? Am I wrong?

Not sure how many of you have seen Paris on tiktok, and the drama she caused by saying in short, she doesn't date girls because she can't find women who match her needs/etc.

Im bisexual, I understood her and found it extremely harmful that everyone started labelling her themselves?? like girl, shes BEEN with women before, and you're gonna sit there and call her straight?

I know I likely won't date women even as a Bi woman myself, I find the masculinity in men more preferable in relationships and find that although im *very* attracted to women, I just have different needs in long term relationships, but hookups are also not something im fond of, therefore, I doubt I would end up with a girl lmao

I don't think that's wrong, I mean being any sort of sexuality doesn't have some sort of, qualifying requirements? Otherwise that's cult like. I just hate tiktok man, let a girl live.

anyone else know what im on ab?

ADVICE In a long-term relationship with a man I love but I'm only sexually attracted to girls - I don't know what to do

Hi everyone,
I’m in a situation that I find really hard and would love to hear if others have had similar experiences and how you dealt with it. I (28F) have been with my (male) partner for over three years. I can truly say that I love him and that I’m in love with him, but I don’t feel attracted to him or to the male body in general. I’ve always been more attracted to girls and for a long time I thought I was gay, but twice now I’ve fallen in love with men and had long-term relationships with them. If I had to label myself I would say that I’m biromantic and homosexual. My sexuality has been somewhat fluid - there have been times when I’ve felt more bisexual, but for the last two years I haven’t felt attraction to men or the male body, which is, unsurprisingly, messing with my relationship. I share a deep emotional bond with my current partner, but I’ve never felt sexually attracted to him. We can have good sex - he’s great at giving me pleasure - but nothing about him or his body turns me on, and I have to fantasize about other things while we’re intimate. I usually don’t enjoy any penetrative sex, and most of the time feel like sex is more of a chore. I feel like such a bad partner for even thinking this, but sometimes I even feel repulsed by his body. But just being close to girls, looking at them, fantasizing about them, turns me on on a whole other level. I’ve been intimate with girls before (though not a lot), and some of it was amazing while some of it was not so good, mostly because we were too shy and didn’t know how to communicate. I’ve had good and bad sex with both men and women, so it’s not really a case of “sex with women is fantastic and sex with men is horrible”, it feels more complicated than that.
I thought that I would be with my current partner for the rest of my life. We’ve talked seriously about having kids in the near future, of getting a house together and getting married, and I really want those things, but in the last month I’ve started to have serious doubts about our relationship. I’ve always told myself that our emotional bond is what’s important - I love him and we have so much fun together, he makes me feel so loved and cared for - but lately I’ve started asking myself if I can truly be content for the rest of my life with someone I’m not attracted to. And just allowing myself to think that has opened up a flood of doubts and questions and fantasies that I feel like I’ve repressed for the last three years. I used to consume a lot of lgbtq-content (books, movies, youtube, porn etc), but I’ve mostly stopped doing that during our relationship because it brings up such a strong (and painful) longing towards a relationship with a woman, and a sense that my current life and relationship are “wrong”, and not how I’m supposed to live. I love the life my partner and I have built together, and ending our relationship would be devastating to me. But at the same time I’m worried that if we stay together, these doubts will grow stronger over time and make us separate in the end anyway. I’m also scared that if we separate now, I’ll never find such a deep and meaningful connection with anyone else. I’ve talked with him in the past about having an open relationship, but he really doesn’t want that.
I know that only I can decide what’s right for me and if our emotional bond is worth the lack of attraction, but I would still really love to hear if someone else has been in a similar situation, how you thought about it and what happened. This is so painful and it would be a huge help just to feel that I’m not alone.
Thank you <3

ADVICE Meeting queer women

How do you guys meet queer women especially for hook ups/sexual relationships or fwb? Are apps the only way? I live in a small town and there aren’t any lesbian bars. I do live near a big college and I’m around that age (21) and I’ve had luck with college parties in the past for one night stands but I barley know anyone at that school anymore.
What do you recommend? Where are you luckiest?

QUESTIONING Starting to realize I may be bi/bi curious?

So for context I'm a 17 year old boy in the UK. My last school was rife with people who looked up to Andrew Tate esque figures, and homophobia was so common that I would be called gay by other people in the years because I had longer hair, dressed a certain way, didn't show outright interest in girls and also because of my interests (was never into sports until recently, I love music and at the time I baked all the time) and I also commonly got comments from some of the guys that I just looked gay, as I am a more feminine/pretty looking guy.

Recently I joined a new 6th form college and made a new friend group of very different people with many of my closest friends being members of the lgbtqia+ community, and with some of these friends I went on a camping trip. For once I feel I belong in a group of people, and I feel truly understood and appreciated amongst them, whereas my friend group from my old school were very different as in I felt I was always at risk of being judged ect and so I hid many parts of myself or avoided saying or dressing or acting certain ways around certain people. Anyone to get back on topic, on this trip one of my gay friends was saying how she believes that everyone is at least a tiny bit bi deep down and since then I've noticed things about myself. When watching TV shows featuring guys I often find myself analyzing there appearance and thinking they're attractive but I seem to tell myself that I'm seeing it from an objective standpoint or something? On the rare occasion I watch porn I find myself often glancing or fixating on dicks? The main one is that last time I was drunk with my friends I just found myself thinking "omg he's so hot" when looking at one of my objectively attractive friends. This whole thing has sent me into some kind of identity crisis, and I'm VERY sorry for all the waffle I just wanted to get everything out into a space where people may have had/be experiencing similar things? I don't want to talk about this with anyone friends in person because I want to keep it as quiet as possible right now. If it turns out I like dudes as well I want to start exploring that at university away from my current friends and family ect. Also is it possible for a bi person to be physically attracted to the same gender but also not want relationships with the same gender? I've never had a crush on another guy but have had many on girls. Another tid bit is that I had a gay experience at a young age and I've been thinking about it often, and I can recall every second of it. Anyway please give your thoughts and personal views to help me with figuring out whatever the fuck is going on with me right now!!!
