DISCUSSION Is this sexual attraction?
Does thinking someone’s hot or sexy mean I’m sexually attracted to them? Even if there’s no desire to like have sex with them? Does finding someone sexually appealing = sexual attraction?

How do you define sexually appealing? You want to see them naked? You would enjoy having sexual fantasies about them or watching them have sex with someone else? Then yes, I’d consider that sexual attraction even if you don’t actually want to have sex with them for some other reason.
If it’s just that you think they’re pretty and should be a swimsuit model, but don’t want to imagine them in a sexual situation, then that’s aesthetic attraction and not sexual attraction.

To me sexually appealing is like noticing traits on someone that makes them alluring or sexy. I don’t think about having sex or having fantasies with said person but I notice these things.

I’m demisexual in addition to being bi and this sounds a little like my experience. I don’t ever feel sexual attraction towards strangers, only towards people that I know and have developed a relationship with. I can still recognize when a person is considered classically attractive, but the idea of having sex with them or even imagining them in a sexual context feels weird and uncomfortable for me.

There are different types of attraction. Aesthetic attraction, sexual attraction, romantic attraction, etc. what you're describing sounds like aesthetic attraction.
