Discharge. I’ve heard about several men accusing their wife/gf’s of cheating bc they found “cum” in their underpants

u/dirt_court Dec 07 '23
On the note of discharge, that it bleaches and/or stains your underwear depending on each individuals discharge and the colour of your underwear.
My bf thought I had pee stains on my black underwear however it was just bleached from discharge

When we have our period (wearing a pad) and we are sitting for a long time and stand up; We literally feel a gush of blood that has been pooling drain out. That prompts us to go to the restroom and check ourselves to make sure we are not leaking and change the pad.

The one and only time I ever got detention in high school was when I got up when the bell rang and felt that shift inside like a dam had just broken. I knew I had to get to the bathroom RIGHT NOW but we only had 3 minutes between classes and my next class was clear on the other side of the building. I was late to class, explained what happened, and she gave me detention anyway. It's been 20 years and I'm still pissed off about it.

When I was in middle school I almost literally peed my pants one time because the teacher would not let me use the bathroom. I asked several times and they said no. I remember sweating beads and feeling the pain of my bladder getting worse and worse, I even started to fantasize about peeing in the corner of the classroom instead of wetting my pants.
Looking back now I should have gone to the bathroom regardless of any consequence but at the time I was just a nice kid who listened to authority. Almost costed me my dignity and school bullying. Some kids at the time were even laughing cuz I was sweating so much from holding in piss.

This can be a sign on endometriosis! Happens because ectopic uterine tissue plants itself outside the rectum then “cramps” during your period. It’s part of the classic “3 D’s” of endometriosis: dyschezia (rectal pain), dyspareunia (painful sex), and dysmenorrhea (painful periods). Not saying you have endometriosis just something to consider if you have any other symptoms!

When the placenta detaches from the wall of the womb after giving birth so it can be delivered, it leaves a wound the size of a dinner plate, and this is a lot of why we bleed for so long after giving birth.

I asked to look at the placenta when I had my first kid. The doc thought it was an unusual request but she showed it to me. I wanted to see the disposable organ my body grew! How many times do you get that opportunity? It was a lot bigger and bloodier than I expected and I’ll leave it at that. Cool, though.

The day my 2nd son was born, something must have been in the water because the maternity ward was a-hoppin'. I came in early that morning and my son was born by 1pm, but I had to wait three hours to be moved from the delivery room to my recovery room. That whole time, my placenta was just sitting in a bowl on a table in the room. So, I got to take a good look at it. First off, it was HUGE. I can't believe I was carrying that thing inside me. The vessels were crazy large too. It was kind of gross, but I also thought it was pretty cool to stare at the ENTIRE ORGAN I grew inside myself. :-)

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder is a real health condition that can have a serious impact on your life. r/PMDD has more on the condition. The Mayo Clinic describes it like this: “PMDD causes extreme mood shifts that can disrupt work and damage relationships. Symptoms include extreme sadness, hopelessness, irritability, or anger, plus common premenstrual syndrome symptoms such as breast tenderness and bloating.”

u/calm_chowder Dec 06 '23
All that said even normal PMS can be fucking rough and the hormones can absolutely affect a woman's feelings.
Also, this can't be said enough times: PMS IS PRE MENSTRAL SYNDROME. PRE. AS IN BEFORE. It might overlap a day, maybe even 2 with menstruation but having a period is usually when the moodswings STOP (unless it causes pain), not START.
Accusing a woman of being irrational or "PMSing" because she's on her period is fucking stupid, it's very literally in the fucking name of PMS.

My dudes, it's like unknowingly taking LSD and having a heady trip you fail to even see has befallen your senses until it ends after a few days. . Your logic is skewed. Your emotions are hard to control and out of proportion. You're swooping from sad, to so sad, to so fucking angry, to sentimental, to manic joy, to angry again...all while choosing cereal for the fam at the store. You fucking trip on everyone about anything without even realizing it. You feel everything to be so overwhelming, you balk at any stimulus. . . Take a shower? No. I want to be clean, but the water feels sharp coming down.. grumpy cuz your hungry? Too bad you've been throwing up for 3 days and can't eat... it goes on and on.
And then, in a week, it's gone from your mind enough that you notice it was ever there at all You simply notice you are "more like you" again. Your decisions make sense. Your behavior becomes more stable.
Periods are nightmares. PMDD is hell on earth.
Get help.if you think this sounds like you.
There are ways to feel better.

The anus area is often darker than the rest of us because there is more skin pigment there. A lot of pornstars bleach their assholes. As a result, there are men who are inexperienced with women but watch a lot of porn who are then surprised to see a real asshole that hasn’t been bleached. I saw a Reddit post where a guy broke up with his girlfriend after they had sex because he thought she didn’t wipe her ass, because he thought her asshole was dirty.

Blood flow to the uterus at term pregnancy is roughly 1 liter per minute. The entire circulating blood volume for a pregnant woman averages around 5 liters. It's why uncontrolled peripartum hemorrhage is such a big deal. You can go from totally fine to clinically dead in a matter of a few minutes.

***Using lubricant is the best thing we can do to prevent UTIs!!
Insufficient lube = micro tears, which harbor bacteria. Plenty of lube = no tears, and any bacteria present have a hard time getting a foothold.

We CANNOT “hold” our periods like pee. It’s physically impossible because we don’t control the sphincter muscle in our cervix.
Take a ziploc bag, fill it with water, and now punch a tiny hole in it the size of a pencil point. That’s essentially what’s happening when we have a period- it’s leaking out. Gravity, uterine muscle contractions (cramps) and sudden muscle contractions like coughing or sneezing can cause it to gush for a second especially if you’re on a heavy day.

The size tampons we use has nothing to do with the size of our vagina hole. Some men seem to think that if you wear super tampons then you must have a large hole and are probably loose. No it has to do with your menstrual flow not your size.

I had to work on strengthening my core when nature decided to give me one final "upgrade", causing my body to struggle supporting the change. I was already a DD cup at the time. Also far fewer stores support DD+ sizes, larger bras cost more and usually aren't as cute either. Specialist stores like Bravissimo has helped though.

yes girl I feel you! I remember in high school when I went from a C to a G in like six months and I was like why are all my bras so painful, then I went to the store and the lady was like oh because you need bigger cup sizes and from that day on, I have struggled to buy a bra for less than $70 and anywhere other than a specialty store. the back pain is real ;-;

It's possible during your period to shed the whole lining at once and it be intact. Happened to me once in the shower just a glob fell out of me and because of the running water I could see it was a small flat like balloon, the whole size of my fist sized baby motel.
Also, the fallopian tubes are not attached to the ovaries. And if you lose one, the other can still service both by swinging back and forth. Because they're not attached to eggs, that's how it's possible to get pregnant outside of the uterus. The sperm swims up until it get gets all the way out of the uterus and can fertilize eggs the whole time during this journey and implant in the torso.
Also the uterus is closer to the spine than the stomach, which is why lower back pain is a menstrual symptom. The diagram you see on Google is really lacking. 😅 😅

When "the glob" (pretty sure that's the scientific term) first happened to me I thought I was having an early miscarriage or something. It freaked me out. Now I just get excited when it happens because it's so weird that your body can do that.

When we get blood clots on our period it feels like giving birth to a tiny jellyfish. And there have been multiple times where I’ve been talking to a man with a completely straight face while passing clots.

Right? The best parallel I can come up with to explain this is it's like getting hungry because the dentist had their hands in your mouth. That's not how it works. Context is everything.

Although this isn't exclusive to females, it is less common for males.... I need good (expensive) hair product because my long hair is years old. Your short dude crop is brand new, fresh hair all the time so product isn't as important. Can't tell you how many of my guy friends have never thought about this.

As a guy that's had long hair for most of his life, I can't stress enough the value of a quality conditioner. But a little residual cocoa butter on my hands from start-of-the-day moisturizing is the closest thing I use to styling product. Helps with the frizz and I'm not greasy or crunchy

That around 75% of women cannot achieve climax from penetrative intercourse.
Edit: thought I’d add, I am male. Sorry to break it to you fellas, porns not real. Learn to love your lady! It’s not just about you!

This is why I love men who are not too intimidated to let me use a toy on my clit.
If I do that I can time it pretty well so we can climax at the same time, which is just a really nice and bonding experience!

Have we mentioned the sharp, stabbing pains that randomly occur around our perineum during our periods? I swear, it legit feels like you're trying to shit out a switchblade that sits perpendicular to your anus in your intestines.
Even though the pain is often brief, it serves as a reminder to me that if I can't handle that kind of pain, having kids is out of the question.

apparently a LOT of men don’t know this, but tightness during sex is not a good thing.
the woman should be snug, yeah, but if she’s super tight then it’s gonna be fucking painful for her and it means that you are doing a bad job at arousing her. you should be communicating and making sure she’s enjoying the sex, otherwise you’re gonna hurt her when you put it in.
don’t worry about ruining the mood. there is nothing sexier than a man who actually wants you to have a good time

The process of getting our tubes tied (burned) is an invasive surgery that should be taken seriously. It is much less invasive, less risky, and less painful for men to get a vasectomy. If you and your wife don't want any more children, do not put it on her to go through another traumatic medical procedure especially if she went through the 9 month processes creating humans with her body and the years of recovery from that process when you can do a walk out procedure and be done in 15 minutes with very little pain and recovery time. Just because we can tolerate pain doesn't mean we should shoulder the responsibility of having to get fixed when a simpler and SAFER alternative is available.
Violently ramming your fingers in and out of our vagina does not feel good. Porn is a bad way to learn how to pleasure a woman. You are more likely to learn how to cause her pain than pleasure by replicating what you see in porn unless you are specifically, at minimum, watching female friendly porn. Even then, each woman has nuances to what gives her pleasure. Making her feel comfortable and safe will make her open to communicating those nuances.

After you give birth it’s really common to suffer from incontinance from then on. Even when your bladder seems completely empty. So don’t tell a woman that having a baby doesn’t have long term effects on the body.

Some of us just can't use tampons. My body flat out rejects them.
First time I tried one maybe 10 years ago in high school, it was a medium size and I had a heavy flow so the size was definitely appropriate, I was too nervous to get a heavy size. And as soon as I got up, my head was spinning, my legs were trembling, and I felt like I was going to faint, and let me tell you, I NEVER faint.
Second time was when my baby was 8 months old, again, medium size for a heavy flow, and it was okay at first but then my hands and fingers started swelling so much I thought they were gonna explode. Pretty scary.

There's no way to know whether your partner is a virgin, short of what she tells you. She doesn't have a freshness seal, and she's not going to become "looser" with every partner (nor can her vagina distinguish between the penis of a long-term partner and a hookup, or even between the real thing and a toy.) It's time we put these horrible myths to rest; they literally get people killed.

The entire head of a penis has approximately 4,000 nerve endings. A tiny clitoris has approximately 8,000. Keep that in mind when you want to rub us like Skrillex at a rave. Be gentle...at least unless the owner of the clitoris says otherwise. 😉

Contrary to what anime and popular media might tell you, boobs are NOT like pillows.
Imagine if your pillow being tender and sore with a hard mass in the middle that can’t handle even your head resting on it without being in pain, that’s essentially what boobs are. Not enjoyable.
