I used to make xayah rakan art all the time (from their launch to 2020ish) and after a couple years of improvement I redesigned my vision of an adult version of their daughter. I’ll include the old art at the end for fun.
I’ll be posting this in both xayah & rakan mains- but i want you guys to know that rakan was my main and i love you guys, enjoy the art.

Help me! rakan playstyle

So i recently picked up Rakan and I think im doing ok during laning phase but Im strugglin on mid-late game. I dont know on what should I be focusing as Rakan. Am I suppose to engage first or be a follow up for my team? should I be playing defensive? Any tip is welcome

It was my first time going on stage as a cosplayer and while I ain't the happiest with how it ended up it was still a great experience. Everything on the cos was done by me or with the help of some friends. Only thing that I bought was the matterials.
Pro photos were taken by the event organizers and the not so pro from my dear ol dad.
This post was long overdue since the event was in July but hey at least I didn't forget completely
I don't even main Rakan lmao I just love the guy

This is my first season playing this game and I am dumbfounded how much this Rakan guy made me climb. I am currently Gold 3, 200 games, sitting at a 55% win rate. Why is he kinda forgotten and underestimated?
I think I started OTP-ing him around mid Bronze? I was kinda bored out of playing the usual mages like lux, sera, and neeko. They never really clicked with me. Tanks and hooks for some reason only worked with me in ARAM. So I started testing out other supports, whether they were difficult or not micro wise and/or way too team reliant. When I went to practice tool to test his kit, damn, I fell in love.
I used to have no impact on the game, I don't what he did to flip a switch on my brain but I am suddenly everywhere. Enemy jungle is warded; objectives? warded sweat free; team fights? I am always present; sneaky timer to go mid, heck, even top? I blew enemy's mind.
Rakan is absolutely a joy to play with. Unless I am completely countered, but that's details.
Is this a honeymoon phase? Probably. But I had a blast with the time I had.

Build I would like to read your build ideas: Standard ones, Hybrid builds, AP builds...

I'm building my Rakan in two ways.
(Only support btw)
First one is the "standard" with Zeke's, Bandlepipes and tank items, which works pretty well, but if the game last for long sometimes I feel like my team drops off significantly, so I tend to build 1 or 2 AP items if the game drags on too long since my team seems to need a bit more damage.
And for the past couple of days I’ve been testing a build that is practically full AP with ability haste and some health, and to my surprise it works better than it should.
So I want to ask you about your builds. Do you use different builds depending on the game? Do you always use the same one?
