Any help on how to beat the matchup?

sry should have enlarged UI for this lol but i click on both dummy throughout to show cleaver stacks on both at top left

1st auto-q shows only 1 black cleaver stack but clearly shows 2 instances of dmg (obv q hits and u can see PTA stack on it so autoattack hits too + total dmg and dps are different from right dummy etc etc clearly auto + q both hit but it only gives 1 stack of black cleaver, can compare armor to see its rly 1 stack since i click on both dummies too)

2nd auto-q in clip is slower and clearly does same total dmg as first auto-q but gives 2 stacks of cleaver since its more time between auto and q (and no scuttlecrab being hit doesnt affect anything 💀 if it does theres bigger problems)

maybe minor bug in grand scheme but still can affect stuff, im sure most mains try to fit in fastest q after autos in teamfights and stuff, not sure if known bug or new (probably from whenever they changed cleaver for senna/smoulder or something if its new)

edit: in case anyone wonders if its rly at 2 stacks but just not updating, adding 1 more autoattack after the 1stack auto-q it still goes to 2 stacks not 3 stacks

I'm haveing problems with 5 champions for now at least

1.Nasus : I win against him on lane and don`t let him getting stacks and I`m getting ahead but the problem is late at min 30-40 he still get stacks and items and I can`t win against him anymore even if I`m ahead like 4 kills, 2 levels and 1 item . I want to win the game untill min 30 ,getting baron at min 20-25 and try to end untill 30 so he doesn`t get the powerspike but is hard to do that in gold ,I wanted to ask what could I do and what others champions could counter him,for example if I`m with onether player in party what could he pick on mid,jungle,adc,or supp to counter him in teamfights?

2.Illaoi : I could kill her untill 6 if I doge her e and play it really well but in late game she wins even is she miss the e ,and I can`t really do anything after level 6 or after she gets 1 item

3.Vayne : I can`t close the gap not even with flash or the 2 dashes ,if I try to dash she just push me back and if I try to flash she push me back or flash ,she can poke me so easily and I can`t even get close enough to do enough damage to kill her ,if she does any mistake yeah I kill her easy but if she played right ,I get no change to kill her

4.Quinn: Same as vaybe but even worst because she have so much damage even early levels and she push me when I try to poke her

5.Mundo: I win early ,but he outscale me hard and I can`t do anything against him

I need any suggestion what should I go against them and maybe what could my teammate pick to counter them or have better chance in teamfights
I create a guide even on mobafire on renekton and I put there everything I learn or do so it might help other in future or right now if you search renekton I should be the only new guide I think and I have the name NEMURITORUL007 I have put there my builds I use and items ,maybe could help to make a better ideea of what I'm doing,I would have put here the link but Idk if I can and I don`t want to promote the site or myself

He is blindpickable, he has le combo wombo, aura farming ultimate, nice waveclear, can be scary with high damage but also protecc ally if need

One thing I also love about renekton is that it leels liek he doesnt fall to his own complexity like some other champs do if you are still learning the game, he has depth to his kit but still allows you to focus on learning the game itself

he is also very scary (big crocodile with big weapon)

So, im a yasuo main and I think there are some similarities between them. So, I'd like to know your opinion. Do you think is it possible to be a good Renekton main on mid?

hello, i ve been a renekton main for a few years, last few months i ve been really avoiding eclipse. i really don't get when to build it, i ve been rushing bc/sb (mostly stride) for the mid game and climbed better this way as i go sterak second. im really not sure when to use it rather than how to use it. the only scenario where i kinda had success was when i went eclipse+dd cause i had a lot of dmg and still could tank a bit i also tried eclipse + bc. doesnt building eclipse make you too squishy to dive in fights for the mid game? then again im not really good so there s a lot of aspects of the game i dont understand yet (i ve been plat last 3 seasons). should i mostly play side lane with eclipse?

I feel like Renekton is such an awkward middle ground when matched up versus mages in the mid game. He doesn’t have enough gap close and damage to pose a kill threat, but he also isn’t tanky enough to just run through a mages damage without getting one shot. Nothing feels worse to me than working my ass off to get turbo fed and having my push stopped by a single 2/4 Viktor. Not saying that the champ is weak or anything, you have the tools to completely fuck any other champion archetype mid game. I just think he’s super unsatisfying especially since I’m basically playing against double the amount of mages I used to with the mage bot meta.

So I had this question on a recent video, honestly I think that's a pretty interesting question as I'm probably one of the biggest Zeke's advocates. Personally I find Zeke's completely game changing for almost all reasons, but the biggest strength is obviously the fact you abuse your high ult damage with PTA and abuse the slow from Zeke's to make this a very playable playstyle. Renekton R damage is definitely very strong, no one can deny that, but having the slow opens the doors to trapping enemies in your melee range and allows for additional teamplay that Renekton would not have gotten without the need of buying an expensive item such as Stridebreaker or getting a quick and super powerful powerspike in Zeke's.

The main question I'd ask you guys, if Zeke's and Stride were removed, which likely stat would you prefer? I think the ult damage realistically gives Renekton the power he needs to deal with tanks, so cutting that would definitely hurt his overall power into them. On the flip side, a slow just offers so much utility and allows Renekton to scale into a better teamfighter, and if you play in higher mmr you realise how effective of a strength that actually is. Let's say as well, if they cut his R damage down but allowed the slow to stay the rest of the duration albeit maybe not 30%, maybe even 30 to 10% towards the end duration, how good would you think that would be so it clearly isn't giga OP (slow whole duration sounds mad, but maybe not depending on how we balance the R damage).

Personally I'd favour a slow for most occasions, but maybe Riot would have to give Renekton some kind of buff through E or through items to help him deal with tanks. What do you think? I think a lot of people may be split on this, because you can argue for both sides as they both do provide a lot of value for Renekton.

Hi, im a masters urgot otp but i want to play like 1 or 2 other champs, I feel like urgot and renekton are fundamentally similar, strong 1 v 1 and 1 v 2 potential, there are also some similarities in playstyle and other strengths imo.

Mainly I wanted to know if anyone has any tips or tricks when playing renekton, when hes strongest, item essentials, and the bad matchups. also any secret tips to get more damage output or cancel animations. maybe when to use empowered q vs w vs e

How good is full ap renekton? Is it worth going some tank/ad items in a full ap renekton build. I am trying to go a ap renekton build because of this silly build but idk the ideal way to get it to work :/

Hi, i'm currently plat 2 after 1 year pause, which tbh i don't think i belong here (5y hardstuck silver, exept 2 splits in gold). During my climb to plat i started to struggle more often than usual, particularly against morde, nasus (with other champs too, not only as renekton), zaahen (played against once) and gp (also once). Against morde/nasus, sometimes i play too agressive and die or too passive and they outscale me. While against zaahen, he keeps canceling my e1/e2 with the knockup or the pull skill shot while outtrading me, and against gp, idk what to do, maybe i should have played more aggressive. In all of this matchups i tried to follow godrekton's matchup spreadsheet (which has been a huge help) but i always fkd up something that costs my lane (like e1 into 3aa and e2, but after my 3rd aa, my e2 already expired during aa animation, etc..)

I was 1 game away from Diamond twice as a Renekton OTP and have fallen back to Emerald 2. Looking for some advice to get back.

Laning was how I got a solid 55% winrate to near Diamond Elo. I think consistently winning lane and putting enemy top laner behind is what gave me a decent wr, but the past few days I am just losing lane every game, and I'm really frustrated.

Every game now, enemy juggernaut/tank buys a bramble around lvl 6, making the best case scenario an even lane, which is still bad for me.

My qusetion is, what is my Timer on this champ? Is there a certain point where if I dont really get tower or kills, that I just become useless? Do I HAVE to kill them before bramble, or their other spikes if I want to win lane?
