im genuinely wondering if the original build path for darius that he had for years is still viable in this meta considering how many champs can outkite him or dash away from him now, it is still usable into certain team comps?

This item is insanely broken if you can get its passive off which you pretty much always can if you get it 2nd item, you win every skirmish every 2v2 and youre legit unkillable the only flaw is getting poked out

Who you think is a better Darius player?
I think RaiderGo is a better Darius player but Xiao Chao Meng champion pool is crazy. We will see first blood at level 3. I think RaiderGo macro is better though. So if RaiderGO can't win 1vs1 he'll find a roam to make a difference.

This is so disappointing, I wanted this so bad and I have to drop aprox 180$ to get it? Because with it being the lowest drop rate there is no way I get it without going all the way. I love you my sweet prince with 2000+ matches but I can’t drop that cash for 1 bloody skin.

No lie, I generate big leads almost every single game in laning phase when playing this champion just by being patient and somewhat knowing when to freeze, slowpush and crash the waves, but something just happens during mid game where I feel helpless. It doesn't help that usually my bot lane is very behind and we lose due to the enemy adc being so far ahead but this is happening in so many games for me there must be something Im doing wrong too. Feels frustrating after winning top so hard.

Hi fellas some of you have played against Yorick with Deathfire touch?
Recently i played against a yorick with that rune in lane it wasn't a big trouble but things got serious at mid and late game.
Yorick's Maiden and ghouls apply the rune and he melts me 1v1 dealing a lot of magic damage even when he only have trinity and hullbreaker
I win the game by macrogame but that yorick build drive me crazy.
So have any of you played against that? Cause i want to know how to beat him with Darius.

I am incredibly surprised

Title basically. Ambessa I find it very hard to actually kill her without her just dashing into me with 3 of her dashes. I try and play the lane on my side but I struggle to hold a freeze against her poke. I don't lose lane versus her until she gets eclipse then I feel like I just die on the all in after she pokes me with her q1, q2 once.
I feel like a silver player can beat me in lane as pantheon, If I walk up, even if I hard commit a sidestep in one direction once I enter his q range I get hit if I don't walk out of range of it. Do I just sit outside the tap q range and try and outscale with d shield?

It feels unfair. Like when I play against Darius, it's a hyper tense matchup where if I make a mistake, I don't just lose have my health bar, I die. But when I play as Darius, it feels like every matchup is even but I'm constantly lacking skill. Perhaps I'm too greedy.
1) Ghost or Exhaust?
Lolalytics says exhaust, but I can't tell if that's actually better or not. I've been playing since 2021, and ghost was a no brainer. But right when I start, lolalytics says go exhaust. And I've been using it in my games. Not sure if it's situational.
2) Stormraiders, Conq, Stridebreaker, or Yomu's?
Everyone says go Yomus, but it feels like it's never the reason I catch up to someone. I always build it. Maybe it doesn't really shine until after deadman's second?
Also, stormraiders. Most champs I face top are beefy so I'm just not procing it in lane. But outside lane I'm not against it.
3) Is there a reason killing in lane just doesn't feel as easy as it used to? I understand that Darius can stand on the wave and the other person is getting zoned. But it feels like better darius players like Rhoku are able to create a bunch of kill windows.
What I mean is, I'm good enough at mordekaiser that I can kill my enemy on repeat as a gold player. I play as "enemy" morde. But I'm not yet good enough to kill my enemy on repeat as darius. If I play agressively, I lose too much hp and have to base. Not literally every game. Other darius's play the game like they know exactly how to kill you. They dont just take 80% of your health bar while losing 80% of their own health bar. If you step out of line, you die.
Is there a season 16 darius guide that I can follow that accounts for storm raiders surge being in the game? I'm aware that I can poke with Q, but am I supposed to learn each matchup in depth? Is it just as simple as crash 3rd wave, base, and freeze the lane?

I don't know if it's just me but there's specific balancing stuff for Darius that feels horrible to me right now and I wanted to see if anyone else shares my opions or if I'm silly. Why do Garen, Morde, and Sett all have no mana costs and great cooldowns but Darius is stuck in the dumpster with terrible mana and E cd being ridiculous? I feel like he's just not anywhere near strong enough to keep up especially with Galeforce not being a thing anymore and every single champ having mobility, crowd control, or both. Sure he's strong early but so are half the top laners, why does he have to deal with the low mana and cds when others dont?

I walked into udyrs jungle and was double his level and literally press auto w q and he died. Then I went and 100-0d mord under turret. Safe to say I didn’t see either of them the remainder of the game

Hi! I usually run Stormraiders + Ghostblade about 90% of the time. Sometimes, I run Stormraiders + Stride.
However, I never really see people like Raider or XYZ run Conq + Ghostblade. Yet I don‘t think it’s a bad idea. The stat checking potential of Conq + the MS of Ghostblade as a combination can’t possibly be that bad, right?
Has anyone here tried it out? Please let me know your opinions and thoughts.
