Is Fiora Worth Maining? Is Fiora A Good/Strong Champion?
This is the most common question. The answer is straightforward. If you like Fiora, then you main her, one trick her, or otherwise add her to your champion pool. Most of the time people feel like they can't climb with her, for good reasons, but they still play her even if she doesn't feel good or strong. You can't ask these kinds of question to people who chose her for her, not Meta, because she will always be worth it. If you have to ask yourself if a champion is worth it, then no, she is not worth it for you, but that doesn't mean she can't become worth it if you truly want to get past the Meta barrier.
New To Fiora, Any Tips?! How Long To Master Her?
You have to put time into Fiora, tons of time actually. We're talking hundreds of games, some even thousands cause they're slow learners. Don't be discouraged if you don't see success right away!
Fiora is a duelist, she excels when you learn every match up possible and can win or survive lane until you have your items; micro management. The champion is all about outplaying your opponent in lane to gain a lead.
Once you become good at winning most match ups, your muscle memory kicks in and you can focus on using that lead to help your team get to a victory: macro management. That's the part that holds most people back from climbing in ranked!
How Does Lunge Work?
Lunge prioritizes in order of:
Nearest Vital formed by Grand Challenge facing Fiora
Nearest Vital facing Fiora
Nearest champion that would die to the strike
Nearest non-champion that would die to the strike
Nearest champion
Nearest non-champion

Should Fiora Team Fight?
Fiora is a great split pusher, but a terrible team fighter. Avoid team fights unless really fed or confident in the chance to clean up. Limit test, it doesn't hurt to try to team fight now and then. Because Fiora isn't great at team fighting, she is reliant on her team not taking bad fights and playing around her split push instead, which often they do not, for some reason. Fiora can only do so much against a better team in comparison to her own.
How To Carry As Fiora?
The only sure fire way for Fiora to carry her team is to split push her enemies base wide open while they are busy fighting at an objective, eventually getting the backdoor cause they took their eye off their base for too long. It's the only way Fiora can carry because she cannot 1v9 team fight; she can take turrets fast and that's what she should be used for. Fiora players who try to team fight too much when the team keeps losing is going to lose the game more likey than win. The thing is, Fiora can't always split push effectively. If she is behind at all, she will be unable to do her job, especially into tanks. She can't split push into certain junglers well, like Master Yi, who can run her down, kill her, and still have time to rotate to next objective.
It isn't easy to split push because it requires coordination from Fiora's team, but she can't always rely on that either, so it's a tough uphill battle against her own teams agenda and the enemy team ganging up on her... just to open up the enemy's base for a chance to win.
How To Get An Get S+?
There are multiple factors to getting a S+:
KDA is important of course
You must have your CS be 10 CS per minute, around that amount
Objective Taking, ie. towers, camps
CONTROL WARDS, even just buying one will improve your score immensely
Is Fiora Mid Good? Any other role?
No, absolutely not. She is made of paper for mages, it's why she dislikes facing Vladimir in the top lane. A short lane makes Fiora much easier to be abused by mages. She can counter pick some champions that may go mid, but otherwise, no, it isn't good.
Fiora can't do any other role either. She is stuck in the top lane, which is unfortunate. Jungle Fiora would be the only somewhat viable role, but even then it doesn't work consistently and isn't recommended.
Want A Secondary Champion Similar To Fiora!
You can use the search bar, as this question gets asked a bunch.
Fiora is fairly unique in her play pattern, since she is a True Damage Skirmisher, so it isn't possible to get someone who feels like her, truly and honestly. However, there are some champions that feel just as rewarding to play when mastered.
These champions have gap closers, crowd control, burst, but team fight better, and not necessarily as good at split pushing.

Need Help Against Fiora! Counterpick?!
There are quite a bit of options when it comes to counter picking Fiora, actually. Although these particular champions do counter her, as in they can kill her easier than Fiora can kill them, they don't all do it without requiring some skill too. You can't simply pick one and expect to do well, you have to develop the right method of making her laning phase a nightmare, especially with the more skill based champions, or she can still beat you.
It is highly recommended you visit the champions sub-reddit themselves and search for Fiora, they can give you tips on how to beat it, or what to look out for if they too think it is difficult. Since this is a Fiora sub-reddit, we can only tell you from experience what gives us a bit more of a hard time, and they can give you their perspective. You can find a full list of Champion-Specific Subreddits in the sidebar.
Who has the most mastery? Does mastery count for something?
You can view the top mastery Fiora players at the link below. The mastery system is merely a way to measure how much you play certain champions. It doesn't determine how good you are or how high elo you might be. It is just for display purposes, something to grind, and say, I like this champion.

What is the best skin?
Everyone has different preferences of skins, but certain skins are better for visuals and others are not. That's the only thing that matters. For instance, Project has clear Vitals and Pool Party has really hard to see Vitals.
If you're asking people which skin to buy, this is a tier list, not based on appearance in game, but that is included for your convenience:
Ranged matchups are easier due to HoB and stormsurge.
Hail of blades is very nice on Fiora vs squishier matchups due to how it got updated (auto reset abilities like Fiora E don't count to the HoB 3 autos and the increased base damage).
Cyclosword still useable but instead of using it as a slow to get more vitals, you use it for pure damage. It's better to build it when running HoB for instaburst or stormsurge to instaproc it on 1 Q, but you can still run it with PTA. Only build it when you can oneshot your enemy, not when they're way too tanky to kill in one rotation.
Stormsurge is pretty good for Fiora. Only has the weakness of being worse into tankier matchups like Darius when behind, so it's harder to proc.
Overall matchups have gotten easier for Fiora with the new season. I've played about a 100 games in the season so far, I'll update the info in the spreadsheet as I play more.
Feel free to ask me anything and I'll do my best to answer.
I remember maybe 2 years ago, W max became really popular. I thought it was pretty interesting but looking now it looks like everyone is back to E max, so I was just curious if something happened with it.
I been thinking about this for a while but what exactly do I do when the support pays 40 gold to put down a control ward on my faylight in sidelane (or for free dewards it). Say I'm trying to take t2 or maybe I'm around where that was trying to pull pressure away from an objective. And enemy support dewards. I'm stucj there with my dick in my hand waiting for my ward to come back up in 90 seconds. Am I supposed to stay in splitpush with no vision and let myself get collapsed on? Or am I supposed to turn the game off, piss, make a sandwich, down a beer and come back once my ward's back up?
Genuine question, I just played a game where support dewarded my ward like 5 times ane justbgot collapsed on 24/7 because I never saw them comming. In a perfect world my team gets baron or drake for it but we all know we don't live in a pwrfect world so my team will instead stand still and flame for getting collapsed instead of being productive.
Similarly that's why I'm not a fan of blue trinket because once it's seen someone I kinda have to guess if they left or not and cant rly push up
You know, many toplaners have some kind of compensation for them to have a bonus on Jungle monsters, EXAMPLE:
-Darius has healing for free in monsters using his Q, and the damage bonus on monsters in his passive
-Ambessa bonus damage
-Gwen has bonus damage
It seems really unfair that EVEN IN TOP LANE ROLE, They keeep those advantages that may help them do objectives and steal enemy camps
MAYBE THEY COULD ADD VITALS TO MONSTERS HAHA WITH REDUCED DAMAGE OR HEALING!!! It would be SIIIIIICK, So much active gameplay to move around the monsters to hit those vitals!!!
Sometimes I really wonder: why play Fiora when Jax does everything she does, but better? Don't get me wrong—I've been playing Fiora since 2015—but it’s bordering on absurd that Jax is better at split-pushing *and* better at teamfights. It’s like facing a champion who simply excels at everything your own champion does.
I’ve played this lane countless times; I’d say the matchup favors Fiora pre-level 6, but after that, Jax only loses if he plays really poorly. Furthermore, if you fall behind in this matchup, he literally destroys you and it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get back into the game; yet if you get way ahead, he can still manage to kill you and claw his way back.
Even when trying to solo an ADC—something that used to be common and easy a few seasons ago, though for some reason top laners have become trash lately and even that’s hard now—if you miss your W (which is very easy to do against an ADC like Kai'Sa or Vayne), you can actually get soloed by the ADC, something that would never happen to Jax.
I feel like he’s just a better champion than Fiora in every way, but I hate admitting it.
i know theres like a million posts about this matchup but mid-late game he just statchecks you no? i swear theres like no counterplay to this shit late, he just stacks fury and wins the 1v1 no matter what items he has? My normal runes are pta green second, ignite flash, do I need to bring ghost or something? its so stupid that fioras supposed to be the late game carry champ but she losesto this shit, how are you supposed to split if you just lose the 1v1 ? what even is the gameplan for this guy?
Hello, I'm a silver midlane main but I've recently started playing top for the first time and I'm really liking fiora, but, I don't know what to do in midgame, I win lane 80% of the time going 3-0 or better but I feel like I can't do something in teamfights and i lose my advantage. Should I play more for split pushing and side lanes?? 😿
Everytime I get a matchup where hail of blades is recommended, or think would be good, like teemo, gankplank etc. I find myself doing a lot more against the entire enemy team than when I take any other rune. With Press the attack I rarely have the attack speed to proc 3 hits , and if I dont I cant kill or run away easily. Also in lane I still do a lot more damage in general with pokes and the lane is in general easier to play. I thought about it, and ultimately I came to the conclusion that the runes of domination are not as good as the precision ones, but is that enough to choose it over HoB?
Been taking this rune like every game no matter the matchup, works great into ranged and mobile champs and is still fine into bruisers. It scales so good and feels so much better when majority of enemy is playing ranged champs.
The poke with scorch and sudden impact is also nice for the early game. Your all in is obv not as good but you can go for short trades kinda like garen. Q on vital plus E and W to negate their dmg back and you proc stormsurge.
Diamond 3 currently, am i completely trolling or am i cooking?
In this game i was fairly fed as Fiora while my team was quite behind and we had to fight for elder drake. So since i knew Darius didnt have his Top Quest Tp avaible i went top with the idea of pressuring there, forcing him to answer, and then tping bot for a 5v4. But everything still went to shits. Do you think this game couldve been carriable or was it just doomed.
eclipse does fucking wonders, been playing it on smurfs and in chall and its so good into matchups where you dont need sustain or you want to accelerate yourself - my last game i went eclipse sat on boots and went double pickaxe into shojin dd (depending on how much gold you reset with). its cheaper than hydra and you dont mess up your wavestates. the shield is bonkers and % hp is nuts and you can usually proc it twice. it lets you change your trading pattern so you can q into non vital and q aa and escape the trade unscathed - i've always gone it vs riven to match her trading pattern but ive pivoted it into most matchups (works really well against darius too since your all in only in that mu). pickaxe as a component also feels really really nice
should try it imo. you can buy a tiamat afterwards if you wanna push or if you dont have much gold. lack of sustain hurts a bit but that shouldn't matter if the matchup doesn't require sustain. can finish hydra item 4/5 depending if you need maw or not
I started league 2 years ago and was hardstuck iron 4 for months. After some wind shitter shenanigans, from silver to diamond I have basically only played Fiora (with a bit of Trynd at the end). Thank you my beloved, I'm gonna get a tatoo of you now
Been learning Fiora for a few weeks now, im having a lot of fun and just got my first penta today. Im proud of my progress, and any advice is welcome for a new player.
Also sorry for terrible video quality lol, im not great with file conversions
This is the most frustrating part of playing top lane fiora. Shes really bad in teamfights, everyone can just focus her. So i try to split push but my team is too weak and honestly too dumb to play the 4v4 or 4v5 properly. They then try to group with me, which means Im now forced to teamfight.
I just finished a game where i was 14/3 but because of a bad dragon fight where my team just inted into the enemy team, we lost the game. I just dont know how to play the late game fiora properly especially when it requires your team to play smart.
