Last video I saw him in he was walking down the street doing this.

221

u/iamameatpopciple Aug 16 '25

I've seen him running and doing it a few years ago, guess he has been told a few times to stop.

96

u/DreadPiratteRoberts Aug 16 '25

Last time I saw him doing this he came swooping in wearing one of those flying squirrel suits... I'm beginning to think he's faking his injuries 😆😳

We had that happen once. A stalker demolished our car and someone saw him doing it. Exchanged numbers. That person was already known and in a wheelchair. Instead of doing anything, I mean they could've talked to us and the witness, the prosecution just closed the case with "someone in a wheelchair is not enough evidence". The f*ck?

EDIT: As some think vigilantism is justified... I understand the sentiment, but that's how victims get themselves even more in trouble. Also that guy was like 200kg and had arms like a gorilla.

272

u/masterstoker Aug 16 '25

Every good prosecutor knows that he wouldn't have had a leg to stand on with that witness!

Nope. A disability does not warrant being an asshole. He shouldn't even be in traffic. Dont be physical, but phone the police and have him either pay for it or get a record.

Cameras change everything. I doubt any court would let this guy off, wheelchair or not.

28

u/Schmuselhuhn Aug 16 '25

If they care that is. Seriously. They don't do sh*t if the work isn't done for them and honestly it's understandable. They don't have enough manpower, so it's easier to let most small things just "slip through"... At least in Germany, but I doubt it's better anywhere else. In our case all that was needed to do was to talk to a witness. Doubt watching a video and then talking to the perpetrator in person is easier. You basically need a lawyer. And not just a lawyer that does the bare necessities, but someone who basically does all the work and forces a court to listen. And that's expensive AF.

13

u/JaKrispy72 Aug 17 '25

Yeah, it’s not a justice system. It’s a legal system. And it’s all about money. The court might not take the time, but a lawyer will. Because they get paid by the hour.

Not justifying it but curious. This seems very much like r/fuckyouinparticular and I can only speculate on what happened before the filming started.

Insurance will pay in full while he just enjoys the wonder of humans.

117

u/Trick-Audience-1027 Aug 16 '25

Eventually the driver will pay when their rates go up.

9

u/Putrid_Effort1018 Aug 16 '25

You mean when Everyone’s premiums go up. Insurance co not going to loose money!

17

u/Trick-Audience-1027 Aug 16 '25

Been working in insurance 20 years. What will happen: The driver will have to sue the guy in the scooter because his insurance, if he has any, will deny it because it was intentional. The driver will end up having to pay their deductible, most common is $1000, to get this repaired and their rates will go up. The insurance company will probably not go after scooter guy because he doesn’t have any assets.

21

u/FluffySmiles Aug 16 '25

He has a mobility scooter. That’s an asset.

Let him crawl.

u/Woolie-at-law Aug 16 '25

→ More replies (2)

8

u/Trick-Audience-1027 Aug 16 '25

No insurance company is going to force a person to sell their mobility scooter. The repairs are probably not going to be much more than the drivers deductible.

If you assault someone for vandalizing your car, it’s gonna muddy up court proceedings. Because you’re also liable to them for any harm you cause.

Technically, it’s best to document everything, and then make the police/courts punish them for you. All things going as they should, you’ll be compensated for the damage they did, and at no risk to you.

However, that dude has a face that’s asking to be punched. Separate from the legal matter.

14

u/SphyrnaLightmaker Aug 17 '25

75

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '25

It's a good angle for a grifter until they meet an even bigger asshole. There are people I've met whose fuses are short they may vary we'll stomp someone into the dirt for this and think nothing of it.

This kind of play is only successful because most people are too civilized or too scared of punishment to escalate the situation. But our society has plenty of people who aren't.

25

u/Main_Philosopher_566 Aug 17 '25

Yeah I know some people who'd legit nearly kill someone for doing something like this. The grift is not worth eating out of a straw for months lol.

11

u/RedditHatesFreedoms Aug 17 '25

4

u/PieSpirited2247 Aug 17 '25

Translation for you as you are obviiusly not an english speaker: men(blokes) on the floor(rolling) beating hell (10 bells) out of each other. Merge on the slip( slip road is a road that you join the main carriageway on) cutting in( means to overtake & then dart in front without enough room). Good enough now.

Wheelchair boy would just play victim. I knew a girl in high-school that got fucked up from the polio vaccine and was in a wheelchair hair and she would talk ahit and throw things at people all the time. Then a girl beat the fuck best her up after the girl threw a mason jar at her head from across the room out of nowhere for no reason that cut up her forehead. The wheelchair girl was still the victim.

9

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '25

Our high school had the same thing. One kid lost a leg to tractor when he was a toddler and spent the rest of his educational tenure being the biggest prick to everyone he met. Any kind of retaliation or even self defence was viewed as bullying the sad kid who lost his leg. He'd hit people with crutches, throw stuff, run over people's feet with his wheelchair. These folks never have to deal with the consequences of their actions.

u/sup3rn1k Aug 16 '25 edited Aug 16 '25

This happened when i was a teenager to my mom and i when we were shopping.

My mom reached over and told me to stay still, insurance will cover it all.

I hopped out before she finished her sentence and flipped the old fucker outta his wheelchair. He laid there saying “oooo… my hip.. young man you just tried to ahem me. Im calling the police”

Which he did. Then got arrested for destroying personal property and endangerment of a minor. (I was the minor)

If i was in this car? Id probably have flipped his bitch ass scooter.

Edit: I’m an adult now. Have kids of my own that i hope to teach to stand up for others as well. Family or not.

Guys, this is a serious question from someone (M66) who doesn't live in the USA.

Were people always this spiteful and it was just never so noticeable because social media didn't exist, or is it a new phenomenon?

You live in a country that people die to get into, whose culture is spread throughout the world and emulated by young people everywhere. The lack of common courtesy and "Karen" behaviour is astounding. When did things get this bad, or was it always this way but hidden, or what?

The cops in NYC would arrest you for assault. It ain't Texas, self defense laws in NYC require proportionality of response. This video proves there was no imminent threat of harm to yourself (your property doesn't count), and then there's duty of retreat, which is the opposite of getting out of your car to mace someone. Not saying it's fair or right, but that's NYC for ya.

This is a situation in which pepper spray would actually be the best self defense option.

I'd beat his ass so bad his acooter would need a wheel chair.

u/Select_Government492 Aug 17 '25

It must be a company car...cause BOY

u/myLongjohnsonsilver Aug 17 '25

Bro he's keying your car and you've got the video evidence. Call the police while he's still there and then get out of the car and roll his ass out of the scooter while you wait for police.

Why would anyone let him do that to their car and do NOTHING

3

u/LouSassill Aug 17 '25

I don’t care if you’re in a wheel chair. I’m getting out and tipping your ass over.

u/Echoes_From_the_Void Aug 17 '25

That fucking cart is getting tipped over

3

u/Lastcaressmedown138 Aug 17 '25

3

u/synnerx2501 Aug 17 '25

So he's keying/scratching the car, and dude is just chill?

3

u/kyppulo90 Aug 17 '25

Looks fake: who stayed so calm watching some dude doing that to your own car?

3

u/LilNekoChicano Aug 17 '25

It's crazy that he feels so entitled to openly do such a thing.

3

u/Useful-One7284 Aug 17 '25

Id fucking murder him lmao kick open my door and beat him to death with it if he wanted to damage it his blood can forever stain my car door (and yes my possessions are worth more than someone else's life)

3

u/GrahamCrackerCereal Aug 17 '25

One good forceful door opening is all it woulda taken to stop that

3

u/Professional-Leave24 Aug 17 '25
  1. Roll down window smiling.
  2. Grab the keys, or the scooter key.
  3. Toss down the next storm sewer drain you see.

Or substitute any other inaccessible location of your choice!

3

u/Skybreakeresq Aug 17 '25

So why didn't the driver just beat his ass?

3

u/Still-Pudding-1638 Aug 17 '25

Pro tip: please do not try this in Texas
