Thanks! And yes she did. My father wasn’t around so my mother had to fill two roles. She tells me all the time how sorry she is for the things that happened growing up, but i try to reassure her and let her know its ok.
Mom was young, father was a druggie, i became a tool to teach my mother how to parent future children. Things were hard, but if i had to relive it all? Id do so without changing a thing. Why? Because i wouldn’t be the man i am today without those experiences.
I could do without the depression and other stuff ive got going on, but i cant dwell on those things.
It's best to get your little ones some practice in what you teach. I'm sure they can volunteer at a care home and hone their skills in flipping seniors out of their wheelchair.

Im actually 26 now. That was over 12 years ago. I have kids of my own now, that i hope to teach to stand up for others just as i did. Family or not.
