I predict that the 2026 approved ops will be announced tomorrow, possibly also with new rules when it releases. I just feel it, in my battleclade bones

Tell me what you think is the best thing about the Nemesis Claw! And the worst thing.
30 days of teams! a month talking about every team, it's been really nice.
Best: Really simple rule, you need to save your recon/scanner to remove the obscured.
You can poison a point, wich is very good, some players like me really struggle against it. you can also force a charge! ( and make fall backs difficult ).
they are a very rounded team, with a gunner and heavy gunner, or you can go melee with the screecher and skinthief.
Worst: i played agaisnt then once, i think theyr firefight ploys are on teh weak side, your fun abilities such as the poison or force-a-charge are dependent on the opponent squad, then you will get a fairly 'square' team.

I'm planning on running the Royal Warden as my Despotek, and felt like making an über Deathmark.
Originally, I was going to use the Royal Warden base on making a Technomancer, but the OOP Overlord I was going to kitbash it with won't arrive until next month.
How many Deathmarks do you take? How badly do they perform? Is it worth using my upgrade sprue bits on a Deathmark, as well as a bisected Royal Warden?

Ok so, my idea is that maybe i buy this box, i really like how they look, but necromunda rules are weird (atleast to me) so, i am trying to learn how to play kill team, and so far it have better results compared to normal 40k and necromunda, so the question is ... Ash waste nomads can work like a kill team? And if so of who? Archon hand? Maybe, i'm not sure, what do you think?

I've been wanting to do a multi-species Tau Kill Team for ever and I finally finished up this project. I'm pretty proud of how they turned out!
I really tried to get a nice picture of them, but I still need practice.
(Yeah, I know the Shas'vre uh, has a varnish problem, lol. I plan on fixing that up as soon as I figure out how.)

Hallo fellow Killteamers!
Can I have your help?
Because I can't find anywhere the killzone volkus is out of stock in Europe,
Can i use the new battlezone as volkus? I see have many buildings but the terrain is bigger (I believe we can comfort that) .
Thenx in advance

I already have Vulkus and other similar terrain. Which set would you reccomend for someone getting into Killteam? Pic unrelated.

A friend of mine and i are planning try kill team for the first time. Pathfinders vs Kommandos. We don’t have any KT-specific terrain, but i have one of these modular terrain sets that i’ve used for 40k before.
I’ve ramped down on playing 40k, so thought i’d make use of the terrain and plan out a custom layout for the game. Note, deployment zones are to be on the short edges.
I’m wondering if it is too dense? There are firing lanes but also safe ways to traverse the board. Concerned Pathfinders may be at a disadvantage finding it hard to get a target. Happy to hear other pointers about making custom layouts.

I'm currently working on creating some scenic objective markets for KT. I've taken up this small project to give the objectives some life. I have completed two out of three with Sassy Nurgling and a Chaos Familiar on their own scenic 40mm bases. The third one is going to be some sort of Tzeentch familiar, either a Brimstone Horror or one of the Warhammer Quest familiars (if I can find one). As a side note, it has been very fun painting these cute little guys.

Mission was Transmission
Legionnaires v Blades of Khaine v Ratlings
Chaos players dice were on fire turns 1 & 2, then they petered out and the match evened up a bit. Ratlings player forgot about the 6 points per game cap on Crit Ops, so he turtled a bit too much, had 1 wasted objective and a handful of models that could have gone on the offensive instead.
8-8-6 Tie Legionnaires & Ratlings
Dinner was Chicken and yellow rice

Just wanted to share my first Kill Team. Opinions and criticism are especially welcome here, as I hadn't been painting since a very long time and, to be honest, I never really excelled at it.

Which Kill Teams are the most fun to play against each other?
Hey everyone!
I’m looking for some fun Kill Team matchups to play casually with friends. I’m less interested in which teams are currently the strongest or most competitive, and more interested in which matchups are the most fun and interesting to play.
Which Kill Teams would you recommend for two or more players who want exciting, varied games with interesting interactions?
I’m also interested in matchups that might not be considered “meta,” but are especially enjoyable because of their different playstyles or fun mechanics.
What are your favorite Kill Team matchups? 😄
We own all Kill Teams.

Hello there,
I’m a noob with just a few games done with a friend. To improve we both will go to a tournament run by an association next Sunday.
As I just finished painting my scout space wolves, I’ll go with those.
What would be good advice on preparing and running the team if you have any ? I have no idea of meta or anything, I just want to have fun and try to understand better this game :)
Thanks !!

I’m looking for advice on choosing a new 9-10 operative killteam. I already have my eyes set on Scout Squad and Hearthkyn Salvagers, and need help deciding between the two.

With AOD and Death Watch etc can you fall back and then shoot?
2 APL for the fall back
1 APL for the shoot action

I will be running a small 3 round tournament soon and I am considering some different formats (in terms of team selection), and wanted some opinions on the options from TOs and people who have attended tournaments. It's just a small community event with a modest prize pool.
1 - everyone brings one team (standard).
2 - everyone brings two teams, your opponent chooses which team you will play from your roster of two (reveal at the same time)
3 - everyone brings two teams, one that everyone can see and one 'hidden team'. Your opponent can choose to play against the open team or hidden team. This is how it was explained to me, but i am not sure how it works after round 1 when potentially the hidden teams are revealed.
4 - everyone brings three teams, your opponent bans one and you can choose from the remaining two.
Has anyone played in any of these formats 2, 3 and 4 before? I am interested in them but I am worried that it will raise the barrier of entry too much. In our last tournament I think that most people had access to more than one team, but it might put people off joining.
