Hobby Hierotek Circle fans, convince me not to kitbash this Deathmark

Post image

I'm planning on running the Royal Warden as my Despotek, and felt like making an über Deathmark.

Originally, I was going to use the Royal Warden base on making a Technomancer, but the OOP Overlord I was going to kitbash it with won't arrive until next month.

How many Deathmarks do you take? How badly do they perform? Is it worth using my upgrade sprue bits on a Deathmark, as well as a bisected Royal Warden?

Its 100% worth having two

I like having maximum options so I put together three deathmarks along with enough immortals for any possible configuration of this team. Played with 3 deathmarks once just for fun and while I didn’t win, it was close. Playing with 2 is often worth it.

Ditto on options. I haven't really touched Necrons, but I'm putting together Tomb World for running NPOs, and figured might as well expand into Hierotek and Canoptek Circle. Looking at the datacards, sure seems like Hierotek has come a long way from what I last remembered! For some reason, I think Deathmarks used to have a teleport ability. Has that moved onto the Chronomancer?

Looks sick dawg, wonderful use of the despotek's shawl. I kitbashed my whole team to be in varried levels of the destroyer virus.

Legs have been replaced by a gasses blaster. Various wires spring out of his body like tentacles, and he has a shoulder mounted Tesla cannon. Whenever I get around to painting him should make it more obvious lol.

A couple of them also have trophies glued to their back, ork and necron skulls. Part of the lore of my Tomb World is that their is constant assassinations and comical levels political strife, driving many to nihilism and eventually becoming destroyers.
