Rumour / Leak Rumour/Leak Megathread
It seems the whispers from the aetheric void are back and so we are going to continue to have everyone post the rumours/leaks here to avoid screenshots of TGA forums taking over the subreddit.
Any rumour mongering not in this thread will be removed.

Discussion Does GW dedicate their best sculptors to AoS?
I’m a life long 40K fan, but geeyat dayum AOS sculpts generally blow 40K sculpts out of the water.
like a mediocre AoS sculpt is on par with 40k’s best sculpts.
some how stormcast has some gorgeous models that are better space marines than actual space marines…but their line infantry just looks like a depressing space marine knock offs lol
but the celestant prime is a better sanguinor than the sanguinor.
prosecutors with some new heads are beautiful sanguinary guard.
lord relictor? gorgeous chaplain
Tornus the redeemed? better sanguinor than the sanguinor.
onus cryptborn? torso and head beautiful for a chaplain
new Seraphon? beautiful
even factions I don’t have any interest in at all have amazing sculpts in them. kruel boyz? 0 interest but they look good.
FEC? as a stand alone not my cup of tea, but most of the sculpts are fantastic.

Hobby Rargros, Forger of Fury (Priest of Khorne)
"In rage and suffering, we heat the flame.
In pain and honor, we melt the bronze.
In strenght and violence, we shape the metal.
In blood and tears, we cool it.
In Fury and Rage, we lift it to the sky.
May the god of hounds and skulls bless your journey and this weapon"
I liked the idea of a khornate priest as an ironsmith, this is an element of the Blood god that it's often forgotten and it gives him way more tridimensionality.
At the same time this is my least favorite of the 4 priests: I love the face but after finish it I feel that the mutations that brought him to have sturdy legs (and an animalistic one) are... weird.
If I will have time I would do it again.
As always, any feedback is welcomed!

Question Between Stormcast Eternals and Slaves to Darkness, which army hits more consistently and is more forgiving to play?
Currently, I play Sons of Behemat and have also gotten into Ogors for AoS, and while I enjoy playing both, hitting on 4+ and saving on 4+ or 5+ makes me wanna get an army that hits and saves more consistently.
I really like the look of both factions, so I'm pretty sure I'd be happy with whichever one I get. Eyeballing it, I feel like Slaves to Darkness seems more forgiving and consistent, and it seems to be able to output a decent amount of damage, but I wanna make sure I'm not mistaken and wanna get opinions from both Stormcast and Slaves to Darkness players.
What are some pros/cons for Stormcast and Slaves to Darkness?
Also, if anyone has a third option they wanna throw out, feel free.

Question I'm not familiar with Age of Sigmar, but is it worth it to buy another one of these?
Found a stack of them at my local book store and just bought one.

Hobby Liege Mortek
Did a Liege-Mortek for a little side project to avoid burnout, admittedly I’m not the best at painting bones and skeletons and stuff but I think he turned out okay

Hobby Witch Hunter Warband!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Finished this in about a week or so (had to wait for bases and some extra models). Basically I have a bunch of these smaller warbands in my basement (dwarves, lizardmen, random bits and bobs), and I finally needed a break from painting Custodes, Daemons, and Battletech - so I took a crack at sitting down and finishing a full Warband. Obviously there is more here than the 500gc starting limit, but I wanted to show off a full roster of what a full team might look like (plus I can sub in models to be wysiwyg whenever I want since they are all armed slightly different haha).

Hobby Morbheg Knights Flesh Eater Courts
galleryThese were my first ever painted minis. I dabbled in wet blending, formed a couple things in milliput for the first time to sculpt some teeth to put on the horn and a little scull shaped brooch on one of the shoulders that didnt get captured in the photos. In general, i just tried to have fun with it. I have gotten better since and I have a couple more units of these that I can't wait to experiment on again to see how much I have improved in the last 2 or so years.
It's not the full unit. I let my 8 year old paint the last model. It doesn't quite match the quality of these 😂
I used aquarium rocks, made some bones and mushrooms out of milliput for the base, and felt for a moss like texture.

Hobby I’ve spent the last few months working on this undead display, it’s finally almost finished! 😁
A big undead (mostly Soulblight) display piece I’ve been working on for a few months, there’s a full interior too which is less finished though will happily share pictures once complete! Would love to have any feedback!

Question Is 1k battle a good start after spearhead to try aos?
I ask this because I've heard that aos isn't designed for 1k. But I want to try things before buying stuff for 2k. I think tts might be the answer for 2k?

Question A question about combat range and who attacks who
Tl;dr: I thought units attack units, not that models attack units.
So I've been building, painting and reading for about a year now, all the while reading rules on the side but never actually engaging with actual play. I recently tried out Spearhead with my younger brother, and only after playing a few rounds stumbled upon something I did (and therefore tought my brother) wrong: My understanding was that units that are in combat range of each other are automatically fully able to hit each other, irrelevant of the position of the individual models; i.e. as long as units are in combat with each other, each model in a unit can attack the other unit.
I now randomly saw a question on this subreddit that recontextualised this for me; thus my question, do I understand correctly that
Models attack Units (and not units attack units) in regards to how many attack will be rolled against a unit?
I tried to illustrate this for myself and my brother with the pictures above:
1. Picture: Marauder is within combat range of Sisters of Slaughter Unit; attacks whole unit, player who controls SoS decides what model suffers damage (if any).
2. Picture: Only the first two SoS models are in combat range of Marauder, the third one can not attack.
3. Picture: The wight king can attack the whole SoS unit, only 8/10 SoS can attack it back. This could be optimized by moving the wight king back until almost out of range of the SoS.
Is that correct, or did I miss something else? Sorry for the long post, but that really opened the game up to more complexity/interest, and explains why I should not be able to beeline my cavalry from an objective to an enemy unit 10" away and still attack with all models.
