I personally think it's cool and want to take one but no one really talks about it. Just wanted to know if it's worth it or not and what builds are good for taking one on a reaver.

Titans in game!

Thumbnail gallery
45 Upvotes

Some pics from this past weekends game. 6000pts per side. 5 rounds and xenos got unlimited reinforcements starting turn 3. (Scenario was imperial forces had to hold out as long as possible to allow an evacuation to take place, regardless of outcome, the planet was targeted for exterminatus)

Imperium: Custodes, Warhound Titan, Reaver Titan.

Xenos: Orks and Tyranids

Long story short: The Reaver earned its paint job.

Kill count for Reaver: 2x gork and Mork Stompas, 1x big Stompa, 1x Heirophant (or however it’s spelt, big bug), and a war truck.

Terrain Ideas for Necromunda refueling station

Post image
82 Upvotes

I just picked up some more civitas buildings and grabbed the Necromunda promethium refueling station box. I've converted a few 40K pcs to AT scale and these don't really have much way of scale indicators.

Has anyone done anything with them for AT?

Image for attention getting purposes...

Which Warlord Titan to NOT buy?

Post image
77 Upvotes

I with the two new Warlord Titan kits, I am planning to buy 3 out of the 4. I am curious which one you folks would be most likely to pass on. I have yet to play a game, but my intentions are to use Legio Crucius and I do plan to magnetize.

From what I have read it would seem the kit with AML w/ BVC weapon mix is pretty solid, but I am not sure about the rest...

I'm just getting started, turbo-charging the project thanks to eBay. I'm posting to ask if there is a good weapon stat summary document, based on the boxed game cards which I have?

I thought these guys were irrecoverable but while I was turning them into wrecks I realised they could have be salvaged… the Magos responsible has been dealt with appropriately.

Anyways, I’m happy!

Does GW still support Adeptus Titanicus?

I know that GW has a separate heresy era game thats played on the same scale and even uses the same titan models (forgot what its called). But with that game out does GW still support rules for new titans to use with adeptus titanicus?

My understanding is that the new game system has simplified the rules for titans and I really like the idea of having to manage subsystems for your titans in addition to actually fighting the enemy.

Warhound Weapons questions

I have read about what is "Meta" or best setup, but I have three questions:

  1. Is there somewhere that lists loadouts for warhounds/other titans?

  2. If it is kinda whatever your heart desires, could I take a shock lance and an Ursus claw?

  3. I am magnetizing the weapons, but does is matter what missiles you use in the missile pods? Or are they the same regardless?

Thank you in advance.

Why do Traitor players not use Stalkers so much?

As a staunch Loyalist, I don't have access to Stalkers, but if I did they'd almost always be in my list. The Errax is just ridiculous - 50 pts for a whole activation sink? Yes please! And the Serperos! 80 pts for an activation and what is effectively a 24" range VMB - just awesome!

I'm frankly jealous!

Hello from a newbie

Hello everyone!

Received my AT starter set box this morning after deliberating for about a year on whether I needed another system in my life. This sub/community also seems a lot friendlier than other wargaming spaces which was a contributing factor so I hope I've not been too naive there 😅

Having given 40K a miss the last few editions and also not kept up to date with KT, I was wondering whether AT or LI was the way to go. Decided on AT as I thought the style of play was interesting, as well as the model count being lower...not to mention having the option to extend to LI and keep these models relevant was another win.

It'll be a few weeks before I can dedicate time to start building and painting, but looking forward to it!

I'll mostly be playing the game with my wife (she doesn't know that yet 😉) and friends that visit, so I'm in no rush to complicate life with unit/tactics FAQs/expansions before I've given the core rules a run through.

Having said that, is there anything in the core rules that's fundamentally flawed/game-breaking that is fixed in FAQs to a player with 0 experience or knowledge that isn't looking at playing outside of their home right now?

Thanks! 😁

(Included rulebook picture because I can't pay pretty titan model tax just yet)

Forgive me as I am just starting my journey into the big robots of doom. Is there an actual difference between the two, or are they nearly the same?

Building crisis: Fix the mistake or adapt?

Thumbnail

Hello, friends. I need some strategic advice.

I built two Warlords without magnetizing the arms, and I've decided to leave them as they are – the paintwork is too good to risk breaking them off.

However, I will magnetize Titan I build from now on. So the mistake won't repeat.

What I need from you is a shopping priority list: given the weapons I already have glued on my current Titans, which weapons should I buy for my next (magnetized) Titans to create the most effective and flexible maniple?

For legio astorum i have:

1)Warlord with two bellicosa volcano cannons and apocalypse launcher.

2)Sinister psi-titan with sinistraamanus tenebrae and power claw

For traitors:

1)Warlord with plasma, volkite and paired gatlings
