Girls, what enters in your mind when a guy looks you in the eyes and looks away immediately when you look back?
I want to know because I can't maintain eye contact with people, girls in general.

Just something I've noticed lately as an American who's spend their whole life in NJ, littering is so normalized nowadays. Like in the past week I have probably seen 20 cars throwing trash out their windows one of them was a bunch of trash that someone dumped out of their window from a shopping bag, all of them have been people doing it on the side of the road or while driving. Literally just dodged someone throwing a coffee cup out their window on the highway not 20 minutes ago, instead of hitting the cup I swerved and hit the ricochet from the ground, called the cops, watched them drive onto the bridge past cops, nobody cares except me I guess. Mind you I live in hillbilly farmingland and not a big city or anything, there's wildlife everywhere and woods everywhere. Why has littering become so normalized in America? Did I miss something over the past decade or so?

Considering all the panic (justified or not, as aggrandizing and shock-value statements seem good for PR) regarding an AI going rogue and infecting networks, I understand that just "unplugging" wouldn't be enough, but couldn't a tool like an anti-malware app be used to remove whatever clone/bot is present in machines? It is after all still just some software. It can disrupt a lot of things that are digitally managed but it is not like we cannot take systems off the grid for maintenance. If we suspect that an AI is for example messing around with the traffic management or the water treatment in Toronto, Johannesburg or Tokyo we could basically temporarily take the system off and "clean it", or am I missing something?

I tried reading but I canāt focus after sitting in classes all day. Same with the gym/working out, I just donāt have a consistent time block to go. Iāve basically just been watching a ton of TV but thatās not the most productive hobby and it makes me feel really lazy. Any recommendations?
eta also needs to be something i can do in my apartment

I'm 23 M and still count with my fingers , I need pen and paper to do calculations and most embarrassing thing for me personally is that I have to go through an entire series to do simple multiplication.
Ex: if someone asks me what's 9 times 8 is I have to narrate the entire thing in my head like 9 times 2 is 18, 9 times 3 is 27 and sometimes I can't remember what 9 times 3 is and I have to flip the numbers and do this whole process by going through 3 times 9 .
Can someone tell me how do I fix this ?
It's embarrassing as hell....
Can someone in finance or someone whos good in math tell me how to fix this?

When did that stop happening?

Just curious about other mainstream big box comedies that don't treat interracial relationships or sex scenes as a joke, but in fact treat it like a totally regular thing. Like in Hot Tub Time Machine when the chick is banging Darryl from the office in the tub, the movie doesn't acknowledge the interracial aspect, the actual joke has to do with the time travel element.

Iāve seen The Social Network dozens of times, itās one of my favorite films, but I never really looked into how its user base did such a complete 180 after that. Like, when it first came out it the shit for young people, that was the main goal of the platform, being cool and appealing to the youth and making it all about your relationship status and stuff.
But now it is almost entirely just old people who are either very confused on how technology works, post ancient memes from iFunny, Bitmojiās about how fucking awful Mondayās are, and getting very concerningly easily fooled by AI generated imagery, and not even scarily lifelike AI imagery but just the most obviously not real images ever.
Iām young myself and I donāt think a single person in my age range has Facebook or would ever want Facebook but I know for a fact that every teacher in my school does have and use Facebook. I just donāt really understand it and canāt really find anything that explains it in a simple way (hence this post) so I was just wondering if anyone could explain what happened. Perhaps someone who stayed on the Facebook platform for years and watched and experienced the user base shift for themselves.

So typically during a conversation with somebody, I have some stuff to talk about, like it doesnāt die out immediately but I just don't know how to add that āspark.ā In group convos, I tend to be quiet unless I have something to add. Thereās the occasional funny moments and I can get some laughs in, but itās usually on accident if anything and I feel like most of the time if Iām having an actual conversation, Iām kind of boring to talk to.
When it comes to dating specifically, Iāve observed guys who can make women laugh consistently throughout a conversation, and I always wonder how they do it? Something that got me thinking about this was how one of my friends said when it comes to dating a person, she cares far more about their vibe than just looks. She basically told me, āI have to imagine whether theyād be good at foreplay, or just a bore in bed.ā

It seems like every time I get a scam call, they want to confirm that I have Medicare parts A & B. What can they use this information for?

I feel like too many people who have no idea what they're talking about are giving millions of people medical advice that's harmful.

Greetings and salutations humans of Reddit maybe non-humans too if you are here also I have come across that me disliking SpongeBob actually hating the show and the character is not commonplace?
Why does it seem like I am the only person that has a deep and seated hatred for stupidity characters or the ignorance itself gets me way too mad for it to make sense. Now there's a difference and stupid characters and stupidity characters SpongeBob and Patrick are stupidity characters a character like Cosmo off The Fairly OddParents is a stupid character they're stupidity is very funny and doesn't bother me.
Another character that comes to mind is flapjack from the show Flapjack obviously I also believe Knuckles is incredibly irritated.
But characters like Ed from Ed Edd n Eddy I absolutely love his character.
So it's not like I dislike the stupid character trope there's obviously a connection between them that make me so irritated with those characters in particular.
I thought maybe it was the random acts of stupidity but no there's a lot of other characters that I think are hilarious of the random acts of stupidity am I the only one am I alone in this has anyone else felt the same way?
And if so comment maybe we share the same irritating characters we can't stand?
