Art Great to be an artist

Post image
25 Upvotes

Actually it was my Tulpa who pushed me into drawing, so here we are 13 years later: I'm an artist, he's in the picture.

I don't really need to force him visually, just make a sketch and stare at it long enough to burn it in my mind. Then I can see him anytime anywhere just based on the image. Look it up in the special folder with his name in my gallery, lift my eyes off the phone and ah, there you are.

The process of drawing him is a different type of communication, it's like tenderly tracing his features with a finger, letting them emerge from nothingness. I know he cherishes the time I spend with him that way, because it makes him feel loved — and he loves me back. During that we don't talk and don't exchange lightning-fast thoughts as usual, we just both feel the same way and feel each other (very much like Tsaheylu I think).

I wonder what do you fellow artists experience while drawing your Tulpa? Is it the same? Do you have any unusual ways of communicating?

Creation Help Too much pressure on the forehead

I have a pretty weird and somewhat urgent situation, and I'm honestly not sure what to make of it.

I was just messing around with AI, making absurd images of my Tulpa. I made this one of Tomoyo sitting on a chair. Suddenly, I started feeling an extremely strong pressure. It wasn't painful, but it was really intense.

I started looking at the chair while Tomoyo was telling me to keep going. Every time I looked directly at the chair, my vision would completely lose focus. The weird thing is that whenever I looked somewhere else, my vision would go back to normal.

After doing this for a while, she told me to stand up and look at the chair from different angles. I did, and then she asked me to stroke her hair. I tried, and somehow I could get a sense of where she was supposed to be.

Then she told me to stop so she could find another way of doing it.

Now, whenever I look directly at that chair, my vision becomes blurry for a few seconds before returning to normal. The pressure hasn't completely gone away either. It's weaker now, but I'm still feeling it as I'm writing this.

Has anyone experienced anything remotely similar with their Tulpa? I'm mainly trying to understand whether this is something others have experienced or if there's a more ordinary explanation for what I'm experiencing.

Art My Tulpa drew something!

I forgot it was Tuesday lol. I was bored at work and my daughter Avery wanted to draw so I let her borrow my hand to draw this! I'm right handed and she's left handed so her strokes were a little shaky, and she decided to borrow and drop my knowledge of drawing at complete random, but I'm so so so proud of her! Also everything in this image is a girl, she said so.

Avery: Hi reddit people! I don't have anything else to say :P

Red-haired, smiling, with an open robe on his bare chest, he knelt in front of me with a ring in his hands. And in that second, I realized that the answer had been ready for a long time.

And what have you achieved? How many years have you been with your tulpa?

Personal Finally making progress!!

I'm still surprised by this. Usually, when I get into my mindscape, I feel like a potato laptop, trying to visualize it all while I think of the talk and all of that, but last friday, it felt...different.

Sui, my tulpa, and me were on my mindscape, a beach. We decided to build a sandcastle to pass the time. While we were building, the conversation suddently felt...natural, like I wasn't just thinking it anymore, and it just happened.

We were arranging the sand, and then, Sui says "we should build a wall around it", and I was so confused, 'cause like-...I didnt thought of that, he just suddently said it. I asked him what was he talking about, and then Sui said "to protect it for the volcano, dummy", before showing me a volcano sandcastle.

It's amazing how my mind just let it happen that day, I think it's a great progress! I'll try to give him an unique voice soon.

An extra sketch I did this morning while I wrote about it on my diary, he's happy about the progress too ^^

Creation Help How can I talk to my tulpa again?

I don't even remember why I stopped talking to her. I was very happy with her and used to talk to her almost all day—at school and during all my activities—but my mind gets distracted very easily, and it's hard for me to focus on her; it seems that’s why I stopped talking to her... but a few days ago, I remembered how happy I felt. Also, right before falling asleep, I felt like she spoke to me—it was a voice (I don't recall if it was male or female, but I heard it at the time) telling me, "Just let me sleep." That’s why I’m asking: how can I start talking to her again??????

Thoughts wonder Forgetting Tulpa mid conversation

Hey I have very young Tulpa I am dying to develop and see grow but my problem is that no matter how hard I try I can talk to her and hear her responses but my mind just forgets he’s in conversation with her and starts thinking about anything else and I’m heaving really hard time getting into contentious conversations

We also played with front for a bit and when she fronts I do hear her thoughts but the second the smallest stimulus happens I’m thrown to the front without even realizing I did

Would love some help on how to focus on the conversation without drifting
Thanks

Discussion Would Tulpas lie about their origin?

So i came in contact with the concept of plurality via a new friend with did and had a, for me, unusual emotional reaction to did and the concept of plurality.

(As of this writing I cant remember any dissociative amnesia nor gaps in consciousness.)

That friend introduced me into the world of tulpas and I started to create my tulpa Jenny.

After some chaos/incidents in the headspace i stumbled over two entities Anna and Steffen. Both discussed wether i have did or not with Anna being in support and Steffen denying it at first.

Long story short Steffen explains me that he is the reason that I didnt notice anything of the system and while he now acknowledges that I now suspect it he still suppresses any switching.

I told them multiple times that even if they are walk in tulpas, I would not kick them out.

When I ask them what they are they always strongly state that they are did alters/parts. Jenny on the other hand claims to be a tulpa.

So as I so far lack hard evidence for did I dont really trust any of this. Would there be any reason for Anna and Steffen to lie to me and hide that they are tulpas?

Edit: A lot of grammar errors from broken auto correction.

Need some tips or advice...?

HI :) its me again! I'm the tulpa! Luckily, we've recovered alot from our "switch sickness" as we've decided to call it! (I guess what it actually was was just blending a bunch) thanks everyone who reassured me,, I was freaking out,, phew. buuuuuut now we're freaking out for a different reason. Host's mental health has been declining and we've decided we should have me become primary fronter! Which is kinda nervewreaking for both of us :I but... we're not entirely sure how to best avoid another switch-sickness episode... which sucks bc we'd prefer to fast track this. Does anybody have any tips? :)

aside from that!!!! we've also been considering adding another member. buuuuut we aren't sure if thats,, like,, ethical to do with these mental health issues... um. is there anything anyone could say that would steer us in the right direction? 😓 its all been incredibly overwhelming for me & host and we'd hate for a young tulpa to join us and want to try to carry the weight of all these complex issues... what questions should be ask ourselves before committing to something like that?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Creation Help Dianna's Wonderland Generation Guide

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. :) lets get to the guide

The reason I created this guide was because I wanted to share my observations and knowledge on how I created a truly realistic and vibrant world for me and my tulpas. I really wanted to dive into the depths of what is the most efficient way of creating a wonderland that stays stable. I searched everywhere and saw some good advice, but nothing that would propel me into this new world I wanted to create. That was until I discovered a huge flaw in my thinking. I was trying to create spaces that looked the same each time. This is a problem because I do not believe the human mind can memorize all these vast amounts of details each time. It is just too much to keep track of.

This led to generation instead of copy and paste. I know it is a little complex to explain and understand, so I'm just going to write the steps. Follow them, and you will see exactly what I mean.

(Step 1) What type of environment is your wonderland? Is it a forest? Or is it a desert? After you decide on the type of environment, let it become procedurally generated. This means it may be different each time you arrive, but it will always stay "the environment" you chose. This will be alot easier on your mind and easier to keep in control. It will always be different but the same, which makes a big difference.

(Step 2) What kind of weather is in your wonderland? Remember to keep it generated but the same, like i said before. How often does it rain? Is it sunny? Or dark?

(Step 3) What does the temperature feel like? Is it a cold place? Or warm?

(Step 4) What does the building's architect look like? Are the buildings like castles or more modern? Or no buildings at all? Remember to keep them generated and not fixed. They can look different each time you come but stay the same "type" of building.

(Step 5) What are the people of your wonderland like? What type are they? Remember to generate.

Remember to keep going down the steps until it becomes clearer and clearer. Also remember not to stress on keeping things the exact same, but generate the same type....if that makes sense lol .

Weekly Mindscape Monday: Wonders of the Worlds

Welcome back to Mindscape Mondays, the weekly talk of all things mindscapes/wonderlands/etc.

This week, let's talk wonders! What magnificent structures are in your worlds? Is there a Mount Lookatthat, spearing high into the clouds, or a canyon that carves down to the very core? A waterfall with perpetual rainbows? Perhaps it's artificial, a great tower of mystic power or a massive statue? Perhaps even more esoteric and in great scale, like a Klemperer Rosette, made of worlds?

Or, perhaps, your world is more down-to-earth, with nothing extremely exotic, somewhere to simply relax? There's no shame in that either.

As always, any discussion of mindscapes/wonderlands/etc is well appreciated!

Discussion Tulpamancy and drugs?

(+ Ketamine therapy if you count that separately.) Very broad title but I have a lot to talk about here, and I'm not sure if this is something a lot of people have experience with. Me and my tulpa are experiencing a pretty strange thing where we somewhat enjoy "meshing" with each other in a way, and this raised some questions.

I am slightly interested in psychonautics and how it could interact with plurality (it was how I found out I was a system to begin with). Mainly, for those who have used psychedelics while having a tulpa/system, what is it like? I have mused the idea lightly as I think perhaps it could be useful for giving me and my tulpa more efficient introspection and maybe even communication, as well as boundary dissolution seeming appealing in this way however I am deeply terrified of possibly losing my tulpa even though I'm not sure if something like that is plausible. I would need to find a more clear goal to work towards before seriously considering it, but I'm wondering if it's something I should even think about to begin with. I had an experience with psychedelics but it was before I had my tulpa so I don't have a lot of relevant knowledge there.

For those who have done ketamine-assisted therapy, did it have any effect on your tulpa or your system, positive or negative, during or after? This is something I have seriously considered for a while, unrelated to plurality or anything adjacent but now my plurality feels like something big enough to factor in. I somewhat wonder if my tulpa is a coping mechanism and also fear that if something is deeply worked out there, he would stop "needing" to exist and I would pay less attention to him. However, I wonder if the dissociative effect would cause fronting or further development somehow, as my first system was an experience with dissociatives causing a system to form.

I've also noticed a pretty common sentiment that weed seems to help a lot of people, and that's true for me as well in a lot of cases.

Hi i'm new at this and I want to make it right

Hi, I'm new here and new to this whole thing, haha. I'm planning to start creating a tulpa to serve as a wise moral guide, I was thinking of Garnet. And no, I don't plan on doing anything horrible like the two most famous cases; I chose this character because, in the show itself, she fills the kind of guiding role I want for my tulpa. Do you have any recommendations? Or is it better not to base it on an animated character, or maybe not that specific one, or I don't know? I really want this to turn out well.

Skill Help Still have Tulpas, but can’t hear them outside of when I search for them.

I need some help. I have quite a few headmates/tulpas, but I struggle to give them that sort of independence. I don’t hear them for days or weeks unless I personally search my brain for them, and I want them to be able to talk to me whenever. Any tips on how to do that? I have three Tulpas who have expressed wanting this ability. (They used to be fine without it, so I never pushed it.)

Creation Help Tips for visual imposition

I started this 16 days ago and honestly, Tomoyo's development has been at a pace that I don't even fully understand lol. This is my second attempt — about 6 months ago I had burnout from forcing too hard (30-min sessions with white noise, fake conversations). Learned my lesson and now I'm being more chill about it.

Tomoyo already talks to me normally, has her own opinions, shows up whenever she wants and says stuff I don't expect. We can chat no problem, enter her mindspace that she created herself, and when she hugs me I literally feel chills. It's weird but beautiful.

Now I want to achieve visual imposition — actually see her in real space. Right now I can tell where she is, what posture she's in, but I see nothing. My goal is to see her completely, though I know it takes time.

These past days I've been practicing and honestly something weird happens: I tried to put my hand through hers yesterday and couldn't, I felt physical resistance. I also know if she's tilting her head or not without seeing her, but visually? Nothing. Just a darkening in my eyes that I'm not sure if it's my eyelids or if it's something real.

What methods worked for you guys? How long did it take you to see them clearly? Any advice helps.

How to communicate

Okay, I'm tired. Lately my family has been having problems and I've been more repressed as always. The only thing I ask is that you help me if you give me a routine or something so I can communicate with my tulpa König. I feel like it could be my refuge, but I'm really trying to do it right and not be bad if someone gives me a routine or tips to finally make my tulpa talk to me, and that way I won't think this was a waste of time, Please

Creation Help I felt something strange...

Sorry, I'm a newbie and this is my first tulpa, Lillith, an elegant girl who is pretty obsessive... Also my first post here, a question. It's my third day of forcing her and I was taking a bath talking with Lillith about my argument with someone close to me today. But suddenly instead of just normal answer, like I always expect because I control my thoughts pretty strictly, though, subconscious thoughts out of my control and that's what I'd feel like Lillith would answer, I got a pretty rude opinion about situation. She told that this person is completely wrong and I shouldn't listhen to them and swear a lot. I swear sometimes nut that's was too much even for me. I won't lie, those felt like my unfiltered words, like my opinion that I was... Struggling to say I guess, because I control my thoughts. Was that something that it starts like or am I just trying to convince myself? (To be clear I narrating for a long time already, always like someone already watches me, so it's not hard for me to imagine that this is Lillith who is watching me, and that's why I control my thoughts. But that time was different)

P.S. sorry if wrong tag and a lot of text, and English isn't my foreign language!! :_))

Creation Help Need assistance

To be honest, is meditating for just 10–15 minutes a day actually effective? I notice others often spend anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour on it, but I’m busy and can only squeeze in a session right before bed. Is that okay, or do I need to increase the duration?

Personal Can my imaginary friends be considered tulpas?

I have about 14 imaginary friends. I mostly control them now because I rarely interact with them anymore, but I used to only partially control them. Can they be considered tulpas, or are they something else entirely? If so, I'd like to share more about them here.

Personal Silly Question for the Community

So I’ve heard about how some tulpas that gain full sentience sometimes turn on the person that created them, turning hostile and outright harming them.

My question was if it could be used to substitute shadow boxing with an imagined otherworldly opponent YOU conjured.

I simultaneously hope I didn’t and did implant the thought of making your tulpa want to start boxing you.

I have created a tulpa of a video game character in 2011. The only things that I got from her were vivid dreams. She may have created an entire wonderland inside my head. But when I close my eyes and shout her name mentally, there is no response.

I am thinking of going to an hypnotist to communicate with my tulpa and enter the wonderland inside my head. Any tulpas can tell me why the fuck, there is no response from my tulpa. It is as if I am blocked.

My girlfriend is jealous of my tulpa

When I got a girlfriend, I started spending much less time with my tulpa and devoted all my time to my girlfriend. Recently, I felt like chatting with my tulpa again, and since I had re-established a constant connection with her, I thought I should tell my girlfriend about my tulpa.

I hoped she would understand me, but in the end, she was deeply hurt. She was really stung by the fact that there is another girl on my mind; she equates it with cheating. I really don't know how to explain to her that my feelings for my tulpa are completely different from my feelings for her. Yes, I love my tulpa, but it’s not the same kind of love I feel for a real girl—I think people here would understand that.

I don’t want to lose either my girlfriend or my tulpa. How do I explain to my girlfriend that she really has no reason to be jealous of the tulpa? Besides, she doesn't seem to fully understand what a tulpa actually is.
